The systematic influx of Zwei’s memories ends there, and all of a sudden I find myself back in the world in a bottle, alone.

Actually, it’s me and this.

Inside this white world in a bottle, there’s only me and the half-transparent plate in front of me.

These are the same letters that I used to not be able to read at all. But now, probably because I received some of Zwei’s power, I can read everything.

As I read what’s displayed on the plate, I get curious and switch to another screen.

And what I see is this.

World quest: Seven spokes supporting the wheel of fate.

Completed 7/7

The ancient will lying dormant in the sky.

Contractor’s brainwashing

Contractor’s devotion

Wisdom of dungeons

Blessings to those who go beyond logic

Fulfillment of fate

Managed darkness.

Ruler of old blood

With the completion of the quest, the contract with the hero blessed by god has been canceled.

It’s the log of the results of the world quest being completed. I look at the part that was unreadable until now.

“Contractor’s brainwashing? Seilook…”

I clench my fist as I feel something bubbling up inside my chest.

If I had to describe it, I would say it’s a sadness that goes beyond anger.

“So I was completely tricked. No, even Hipopo, who is sensitive to malice, was completely fooled… I see, so at some point when Seilook was getting points…”

I start thinking back to the time when I found Seilook, all the way until now, but I stop that.

I need to continue doing what must be done.

“Ah, this. Zwei was also wary of it. Should I continue… Plate, continue.”

It responds to my voice and continues the installation.

This causes an influx of fragments of knowledge and memories. And once this arduous process is finished, I need to do the seemingly never ending process of authentication to inherit Zwei’s authority.
