“And so, we brought this undead dragon with us, and Seilook got its fourth points.”

“I see. It sounds like a very eventful date in the sky.”

“Kalin… That’s not right, you know?”

I stare at Kalin, who lets it wash over her like a light breeze.

We’re in the new bamboo building made just for Seilook. I’ve been telling Kalin, Ahri, Roa, and Master Halhammer what happened in more detail.

In the meantime, the two dragons are sniffing around the room. How the undead dragon can smell anything is a big mystery, but it looks like those two like each other.

But then, the door opens and Shellrule jumps inside with a rolled parchment in her hand, that came from the top of the line communications device.

“Lady Kalin! It’s a message from Habbafulton. It’s urgent and confidential!”

“Right in the good part… I was just about to start asking all sorts of questions about Rust’s first date…”

“No, that’s not what happened! Can you stop it, Kalin?”

Shellrule hands Kalin the parchment while looking at me with her eyes wide open, and I deny everything.

“Haha. When you get that embarrassed it actually makes me think…”

Says Kalin, before stopping mid-sentence as she cuts the seal of the parchment and starts reading it.

A heavy mood fills the room, and everyone except Kalin looks around at each other.

Kalin finishes reading the parchment, looks at everyone, and speaks.

“There’s a high likelihood that we have an emergency on our hands. This is from Taula, and she confirmed that a giant monster is on the move in the eastern border. Apparently Habbafulton is in its path. She estimates it will be here in six days…”

“It can’t be moving that fast, if it will take it six days. Is Taula all right? Why is she even there?”

I ask without thinking.

“It doesn’t say anything about Taula’s status, but she went to the eastern border to look for clues about 『points』. That region is also dotted with ruins.”

“I see… Sorry for interrupting.”

“No, it’s fine. I have to go back to Habbafulton. I can’t wait to see just how big it is!”

Says Kalin with a smile. But I’ve known for a long time that her smile twitches a little when she’s putting it on.

I try to imagine how much pressure must be on her, with all the lives in her dominion under her responsibility, but I stop. I need to focus on helping her in any way I can.

“Seilook, how many people can you carry to Habbafulton?”

“Gyu.”

I receive the answer through our bond, and it’s three. I’m impressed that Seilook can even take a single person all the way there.

“Lady Kalin, Seilook says it can take three people.”

“Thank you Master Rust. Me, you, and Roa will go with Seilook. Master Halhammer, please take over supervising the advance party and the pioneering unit. Then use transmuted beasts to meet up with us in Habbafulton, along with Ahri. As for who will be responsible for the Kagero Institute here…”

“How about Shellrule?”

“Yes. Thank you Master rust. Shellrule, can I ask you to do this?”

“Y-yes! I will do my best!”

Shellrule straightens her back and answers.

“Lastly, what do we do about Princess Lily?”

“Lady Kalin, I will handle it.”

“…Sorry, and thank you Master Halhammer. Well then, we leave when everyone’s ready.”

Says Kalin, and everyone starts moving in a hurry.
