Chapter 1143 Battle!

Chapter 1143: Battle!

The next moment, Harley found herself in different surroundings. She was in an open desert, with the sand beneath her feet trying to suck her in.

Not long after, her opponent appeared, and she looked the same as ever.

Harley wanted to attack this time, so she got in her striking pose even before the start of the battle.

Ding!

The familiar sound of the bell rang in the area, announcing the start of the second battle.

Harley immediately charged toward her opponent, but she had only crossed a short distance when a wave of pain hit her.

Harley looked down and found a sword coming out of her heart. A wry smile spread across her face as her eyes turned blank, and she crashed to the ground.

Time flew by, and hours passed in a flash.

The Gods & Demons level training area allowed a time flow rate of ten times as the outer world, so Harley only had ten hours for training, and out of that, seven hours had already passed.

After dying again for the umpteenth time, Harley reappeared in the initial area with the screen in front of her.

Harley instinctively chose Talwyr as her opponent, and the environment was set at random. There was a hint of determination in her eyes since the last battle was extremely close.

The next moment, a white light covered her, and she found herself in a different environment.

Harley looked around and took a deep breath since she was in a garden of flowers. Not long after, not far from her, her opponent also appeared.

Ding!

The directionless bell rang, and the battle began.

Harley made her move. Her sword slashed at the opponent, aiming to take her head in the first slash.

Instead of defending, the Talwyr attacked with a straight thrust, aiming for the weakest point in her slash.

Time flew by, and one minute passed in a flash.

The battle was still continuing as Harley survived a minute for the first time. The environment looked tragic yet beautiful, as many flowers were wet with either Harley's or Talwyr's blood.

Harley looked in serious trouble since she forced the Talwyr on edge for the first time. Harley thought she was close to victory, only to find that the Talwyr was even stronger than she was expecting.

She currently had to hop as her left leg was cut clean with silver blood drops continuously raining on the ruined flowers on the ground.

Harley gritted her teeth and attacked since it would be her last attack. She added whatever she had to the attack and slashed.

The next moment, Harley's eyes widened in shock, and soon a beautiful smile spread across her face. She didn't succeed in the attack but saw a basic version of the still-fast-moving sword.

The next moment, the world turned dark for her as she died again. But this time, she wasn't disappointed or angry. If her tiny pieces were to gather, a beautiful smile would grace everyone's sight.

Time flew by, and soon the remaining time for her training was over.

Harley's eyes became normal as the golden barrier around her disappeared. A wide smile spread across her face as she looked at the sword in her hand.

It looked the same as it did before entering the training area. The numerous battles inside the area had no effect on it.

At the end of the room, there was a slab placed where customers could test their weapon strength. Harley wanted to do the same, so she proceeded toward it.

There were already a few people ahead of her, so she had to wait for some time. Finally, her turn arrived.

Harley's eyes turned sharp and she attacked. The air around her sword started to vibrate as the sword began to move up and down. The movement could be clearly seen as Harley wasn't proficient in the attack and she struck the slab.

The next moment, the slab lit up, and soon after, the power of the attack appeared in bold golden letters.

"Early True God!"

Slightly beneath the level, there was a straight line denoting percentage, and on it, there was 63%.

Harley couldn't help but grow excited when she saw the attack power.

She had only learned the basics now, and the attack had already reached the early True God level and was even nearing the intermediate sub-level.

Since Panagea had no spots left for Harley, she decided to try her luck with the Beast Summoner Device. Having a Sacred Creator father and an organization in a resource-rich area had certain advantages. One such benefit was wealth, and Harley didn't lack it. She had a net wealth of triple-digit ultimate Sacred stones. Most of it belonged to the organization, but since her father didn't care how she spent the money, she had no worries.

Harley currently stood in front of the beast pillar as after waiting for several minutes, it was finally her turn.

Harley took a deep breath and pressed the switch. She already had a beast in her mind. Her father had a strong and beautiful pet, and she wanted the beast of that race.

Five seconds passed, and soon after, a beast appeared on the screen.

Harley was slightly disappointed when it wasn't the one she wanted, but soon she calmed down. As her eyes fell on the card, her disappointment grew since it was only a Higher grade Divine Lord beast.

Time flew by, and a few minutes passed.

It was the thirteenth round of summoning for Harley as she pressed the switch.

"12" appeared on top of the screen and the square light began to rotate at an unprecedented speed.

Five seconds passed in a flash and a beast unknown to Harley appeared on the screen.

Harley no longer felt disappointed and as the card appeared in her hands, she focused on it.
