Chapter 1120 A New Day For The Store(5)

Chapter 1120: A New Day for the Store(5)

The man paid 140 lesser Sacred stones to Aakesh, thirty-five stones each for him and his three children's 1x stay in Panagea.

After the payment was complete, the man and his three children left for the portal room. It was finally the turn of Autumn and Katrina.

"What do you think about it?" Katrina asked for Aakesh's opinion, handing him the Dream Creator and the Kyshindor's cards.

Aakesh took the cards from her hands and took a look at the beast on the card. He couldn't help but raise his eyes in surprise when he saw the Dream Creator.

The Kyshindor was a powerful creature, but there were several beasts of similar strength. The Dream Creator was a different being in comparison.

There was only one Dream Creator in the Multiverse, and after Katrina bought it, there would be two of them. What was even more surprising was that the store also only had one Dream Creator in the pool of beasts available for sale, so Katrina would be the first and only buyer of the creature.

But that wasn't the thing that caught Aakesh off guard.

A Scared Creator like Ayana only got the third-ranked Dinony, but that wasn't surprising to him. In front of Katrina, Ayana's fate didn't even stand a chance.

Katrina getting the Dream Creator was a shocking situation for him. Katrina's fate was high enough to get the best beast available at this stage of summoning, but she only got the second-ranked one.

"Hey, system, what kind of luck and fate are required for the first-ranked beast?" Aakesh couldn't stop himself from asking the system about it.

[Host, the first-ranked beast for sale, is only reserved for the strongest cultivator of the Sacred Dimension, excluding the Void Beasts.]

The system's emotionless, mechanical voice rang in Aakesh's ears, surprising him.

With the system's response, another question rose in Aakesh's mind.

"But the title of the strongest isn't fixed. Is it on a time basis; whoever came first to the store would summon the first-ranked beast?"

Since the strongest could change with time, wouldn't that mean the number of the first-ranked beast would grow with every new strongest being in the dimension?

[Host, only the strongest of the Sacred Dimension could summon the first-ranked beast, but there is no certainty that it would be successfully summoned. Only those who would have fate with the beast would succeed.]

"The Dream Creator is the best you could get at this level," Aakesh answered Katrina after clearing up his confusion with the system.

"The Kyshindor suits you," He added, responding to Autumn.

Both Autumn and Katrina had a higher cultivation level and more experience than him, but neither of them dared underestimate Aakesh due to his vast knowledge and the fact that he was the store owner.

"Do you want to initiate the taming battle?" Aakesh inquired.

"What are the chances of my and her victories against the two beasts?" Katrina didn't answer but asked Aakesh.

There was a taming battle, and getting defeated by Aakesh had made Katrina calm enough not to underestimate anyone, especially when a creature like the Dream Creator was on the other side.

"Against the Kyshindor, you both have a 100% chance of victory. Against the Dream Creator, you have a 98% chance, and Autumn has a 93% chance," Aakesh parroted what he heard from the system.

"Oh, there's a 2% chance of defeat," Katrina and Autumn were both surprised to hear it.

It wasn't a hidden fact that Katrina was more talented and a better fighter than Autumn, so her 7% chances of losing against the Dream Creator weren't as shocking as Katrina's 2% odds.

"Yes, the combination of [Phantom Mirage] and [Spiritual Empowerment] can prove to be a challenge," Aakesh answered. This time, he didn't have to ask the system. When Katrina asked, he began to think of the skills the Dream Creator had.

"I am ready," Katrina and Autumn said, nodding to begin the battle.

Aakesh nodded and tapped twice on the storefront pattern on the back of the card. He then returned the cards to their prospective owners.

As they grabbed their respective cards, their surroundings changed, and they each found themselves in a different environment, perfectly tailored to the two beasts' abilities.

Autumn returned back to the store not long after as her battle ended even before it began. Just the pressure from her bloodline alone was enough to make the Kyshindor give up on whatever will it had. But at that moment, its characteristics, [Unbreakable Will] became active, taking it to the peak of the peak Divine Lord, as the skill couldn't break the barrier between the two levels.

Even then, it was nothing, and Autumn ended the battle with one hit, winning it. Whether the beast was going to surrender, Autumn didn't know since she had acted immediately after its characteristics became active.

As no time flowed in the taming battle when Autumn returned, Katrina had also woken up.

Katrina's battle wasn't as easy as Autumn's. Even though there was only a 2% chance of her defeat, Katrina took the battle seriously since she couldn't lose to anyone other than Aakesh at the same cultivation.

She had used her strongest skill right from the start as a beam attacked the Dream Creator. The creature used [Illusionary Mirror] to defend itself and reflected the attack.

Some of the attack power was reflected, but the mirror also broke down, unable to handle the energy, striking the Dream Creator.

Unfortunately for Katrina, that remaining energy wasn't enough to end the battle. The Dream Creator then activated [Phantom Mirage], and it and its clone attacked her at the same time.

It took a single strike from Katrina to end the clone's life, but the [Dream Realm] characteristics and the abundance of dream element energy allowed it to restore the clone in no time.

As Aakesh had told her, the combination of the [Phantom Mirage] and [Spiritual Empowerment] challenged Katrina, but already being aware of it helped her make plans for it, and the battle ended soon after, making her the victor.

A/N: From now on, only important characters will get the detailed screen for their beasts, or if I somehow find something interesting, then I will also write the screen. It looks like word padding but takes more time and effort.
