Chapter 999 (6) Close For The Day!

Chapter 999: Close for the Day!

"Summon a beast that will beat someone seven thousand times straight since you are my son."

The gloating expression disappeared as Fidel had no words to rebuke Riddley.

As Fred pushed the button, the expressions of both Fidel and Riddley turned solemn, as they both wanted Fred to summon a beast stronger than them.

Five seconds passed in no time, and soon a beast appeared on the screen.

The next moment, a card emerged out of nowhere and flew to Fred's hands.

Fred recognized the beast on the screen, so he focused on the card with some expectations.

Fred's hands trembled as he passed the card to his mother after reading its content. Ridley had the same surprising reaction when she read it.

Fidel also extended his hands, thinking the card would come to him, but no such thing happened. Riddley returned the card to Fred.

"Isn't it the Ice Queen, which my foolish son fell in love with?" Fidel suddenly commented.

The Ice Queen was a top group of elementals, and there was only one in the entire Sacred Dimension. If Fred were to succeed in taming it, it would only be the second Ice Queen.

Fred's white face turned red from his father's comments. Once Fred had seen the Ice Queen, and from that moment, he had fallen for her. It was also the reason that, despite being several million years old, he hadn't married anyone.

Riddley, on the other hand, exhaled a sigh of relief that it wasn't another shadow element beast. The White Draugr were ice-element creatures, so having a closer affinity with such beasts made sense, not with the shadow element.

"When will we get our grandchildren?" Fidel suddenly went ahead and whispered in his son's ears.

Fred's already red face became awkward, while Riddley's frustration had reached its peak with her husband.

"Remember, tomorrow is our battle!" A chilly voice rang in Fidel's ears, making him shudder.

Time flew by, and finally, enough spots in Panagea opened up for Fidel and his family to enter Panagea.

More time flew by, and when there was around an hour left before the sunset, a door appeared midair inside the store, and soon after, Lily stepped out of it.

Lily seemed to be in a great mood after a long time as she jumped on Aakesh's head after stepping down the stairs.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Not long after Lily appeared in the store, Aakesh heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside.

Aakesh and Lily looked in that direction and found an unfamiliar face entering the store.

It was a Vurron, who seemed to have heard about the store from somewhere, so he came here.

"Hello, store owner!" The man respectfully greeted Aakesh immediately.

Aakesh nodded to the man's greetings and waited for him to ask the question.

"Store owner, I want two first-grade lesser soul healing pills,' The man already seemed to be aware of the store's products, so he requested.

Aakesh nodded, stood up from the chair, and went to the pill counter. He then took two pills out from the third shelf in the first row. He then returned to his chair.

"You need to pay fifty lesser Sacred stones," Aakesh told the man.

The man already seemed to be aware of the price, so he took out the amount.

The man seemed to only carry fifty stones as he took everything out. He then counted it and pushed toward the store owner after finding the number was correct.

Even though the man tried to stay calm when Aakesh pushed the pills toward him, his breathing became rough, and his eyes slightly moistened.

"You will become alright." The man muttered in a slow voice, with it slightly trembling.

"Thank you, store owner!" The man thanked Aakesh and hurriedly left the store as if he couldn't waste even a moment.

Aakesh and Lily didn't care much about the man's ordeals, so they both began to play with each other while passing the time till sunset.

Not long after the man left, another new customer came to the store. Since it was this late, and less than an hour left before sunset, the man failed to enter Panagea, despite there being one vacant virtual portal.

The man promised to come tomorrow to enter Panagea and then left the store, having either no interest in other store's products or not having enough financial ability to show interest in them.

Time flew by, and the sun finally set on Thorr and nearby cities, bringing a wave of darkness with it.

***

A/N: Tomorrow, I will release only one chapter, the 1000th.

As chapter 500 made clear that it wasn't Aakesh's first time in the Multiverse, the 1000th special will also deal with one of his other past lives.

Thanks for supporting the book!
