Chapter 706: A New Day with New Customers(13)

There were five children born to Andrew Asquith’s father. Among them, two were boys, and three were girls. Due to his position as the eldest child, Andrew became the head of the next generation of the family.

Andrew’s younger brother left the direct family to add another branch family for the Asquith. Noone other than the head of the Asquith family was allowed to have a relationship with his sister since it was only to preserve the purity of Asquith’s blood. Hence, the three sisters became wives to Andrew.

As the head of the Asquith family, he was allowed to have as many sexual partners as possible. But at the same time, there was a rule enforced on him. Any head of the Asquith family couldn’t have a child with anyone other than their sister. The family didn’t want their bloodline to mix with other races.

The punishment for going against the rule was banishment from the family, so no one dared to go against it.

Andrew started living in worry as he only had five sisters. If he failed to have a male progeny, their family’s direct bloodline would stop since Asquith was adamant about some rules, and no one dared or could break them.

Andrew’s worry finally came to a stop as his second sister got pregnant with another child. To discover the gender of the child before their birth wasn’t something worth talking about for people of their level. So when Victoria was in the third year of her pregnancy, the entire family came to know that their new ruler had arrived on the scene.

Unfortunately for Andrew and Victoria, the pregnancy continued longer than expected. It broke records as the most extended pregnancy before the birth of William was around seven thousand years. The pregnancy for William extended the record by more than ten thousand years as after Victoria carried William in her womb for more than seventeen thousand years.

After a few moments of his birth, William had started speaking and learning things.

William’s birth called for celebration as he was not only the future head of the Asquith family but also the most talented child to be born in the family after Asquith himself.

It didn’t take long for William to learn about the rules set by Asquith for the throne of the family. William also knew from the get-go that he was going to be the new head of the family as on his first birthday, he got the title of prince from his father.

William liked all of his five sisters since they always played with him. Not even once did they refuse to give time to him despite being busy with their tasks.

When William learned about the rule of the head of the Asquith family having children with their own sister, he didn’t find anything wrong with it. He instead found it to his liking. He believed it would allow him to spend more time with his sister.

But as he read further, he came to know about the control the family had on the royal females in the Asquith family; How none of the daughters of the head of the Asquith family were allowed to have relations with any man other than their sole brother.

William didn’t find anything wrong with this rule as well since maintaining the purity of the bloodline was never easy. What made him feel bad for his sister was that they had no choice in that decision. Having sexual relations was mandatory for the sisters. They were neither allowed to have sex with any man other than the head of the family nor could they become celibate and give up on sexual relations.

This forced condition on the female of the family made William feel bad for his sister. After reading about it, he straight away went to his mother, only to find in the end that his mother never liked his father. His father had the same dislike for his mother. If not for the mandatory rule, both of them wouldn’t have even had sex, resulting in William’s birth.

William then went to his father, only to get reprimanded by him.

“How dare you question the rules set by Ancestor? Is your mother teaching you these kinds of things?” His father had said to him. In the end, he made the already sour relationship between his parents worse after this.

William didn’t give up and then went to his sisters to know what they felt about the rule.

Among the five sisters, four had no problems with it. In fact, they were ardent supporters of it since they understood that the bloodline couldn’t be maintained by making both sides happy. Out of the four, three were against only the male becoming the head of the family.

Out of the four, only the eldest sister had no issues, with no female becoming the head of the family. William knew the reason behind her not caring about it. The eldest daughter would become the first wife of the head of the family, having almost the same level of power as the head of the family. So for the first sister, the situation wasn’t anything worth troubling over.

- Among the five sisters, only one sister had a problem with the rule of the females having no control over their choice of partner.

When William talked to that sister, he could sense the ambition in his sister’s voice. She wanted to rule the family and take it to greater heights. Unfortunately for her, there was no way she could do that. Going against the rule meant going against Asquith. It would result in the loss of her bloodline and her ability to cultivate. She didn’t want that to happen.

“Promise me, you would stop sleeping with me and let me cultivate after I got pregnant once,” It was the promise the sister wanted from William.

Hearing the promise, William froze since he had no words on what to answer. At that moment, he escaped his sister’s chamber while his sister looked disappointedly at him.

When this happened, William was only ten years old. After that, the relationship between William and his sisters stagnated. He stopped playing with his sisters.
