Chapter 544

Chapter 544: The First Step(End)

Since the ground wouldn’t throw him back just like when it did on the land below the first step, Aakesh stopped worrying about it and focused on the block.

At the start, Aakesh had set a goal of passing this world in fifty years, and more than nine years had already passed, so Aakesh knew he couldn’t rest for even a second.

Aakesh didn’t know how much he would be able to cross in a single jump with all these restrictions on him, but since Aakesh had no choice but to try if he didn’t want to get stuck here, Aakesh took a jump.

A dumbfounded expression appeared on Aakesh’s face as despite giving his all in the jump, when Aakesh landed on the ground, he was only a meter away from his last spot and stood on a block that contained countless clusters of red-colored light dots.

The next moment, four pillars of fire appeared from the edge of the block and took the form of a prison, trapping Aakesh inside.

Aakesh, with a frown on his face, looked around him. He then found that he couldn’t see anything beyond the flame prison.

The heat released by the fire around Aakesh was still in control, so the automatic defense provided by the dhoti stopped it from approaching Aakesh. But Aakesh knew he couldn’t stay here for long. With each passing moment, the heat was growing at a very high rate.

Since Aakesh wanted to move out of it, Aakesh attacked the fire trapping him.

His physique was already formidable, so Aakesh didn’t use any skill and grabbed the fire like a handle.

Aakesh’s hands should’ve grabbed nothing since the fire has no physical body, but nothing of such sort happened, and Aakesh firmly caught fire since it was more like a metal gate, stopping him from moving further.

Aakesh then, using his hands, ripped apart the fire as if it was a man, and not long after, Aakesh could finally see the happenings outside the fire prison.

As soon as Aakesh stepped out of prison, the block returned to normal straight away, as if it was all an illusion.

Since Aakesh now knew he couldn’t cross more than one meter in his full strength jump, he thought of casually walking to the next block.

But as soon as the thought of walking appeared in his head, his intuition warned him against it right away. Aakesh didn’t have to think much about the reason behind his instinct warning him as it was a test, how there could be a test without growth, especially after the struggle on the land below the first step.

Thinking like this, Aakesh took another jump, using the same amount of strength he had committed to his leg on the last jump.

The next moment, the result presented itself. It stayed the same as Aakesh jumped onto the next block.

It also contained clusters of red-colored light dots, so as soon as it sensed something upon it, the light dots acted.

The next moment, a fire giant appeared floating in the air.

The fire giant looked the same as Aakesh, but it was ten times his size and had a spear in its hand.

Aakesh felt a sense of danger the next moment as the fire giant launched his spear at him.

After training his agility for nine years, how could Aakesh lose to a spear?

“Whoosh!”

Aakesh moved his head slightly left, and not long after, the spear passed through that area.

Right after dodging the spear, Aakesh jumped in the sky toward the flame giant.

The fire giant had no expression on its face as it took back the spear with an even quicker speed and launched it again.

This time a white light had surrounded the spear as it came at Aakesh.

It would have been difficult to dodge the spear for many since it gave no way out, but not for someone with high flexibility and mighty agility like Aakesh. Aakesh bent his waist, making a perpendicular. The next moment, the spear passed just a cm above where his waist would have been a moment earlier.

Aakesh reflexively got straight as he punched slightly above the waist of the fire giant since it was the highest he could jump in the air with all these restrictions on him.

The next moment, his hand passed through the fire giant’s stomach as it came out from the other side. The fire giant groaned in pain.

Aakesh felt the heat as his hand was inside a creature made of nothing but fire, but Aakesh ignored it since he had started descending to the ground since he couldn’t stay in the air for long.

With him descending, the giant was also coming down, but Aakesh had no interest in making the giant fall to the ground with his landing.

Aakesh, using a slight force, snapped the fire giant in two below the waist and landed on the ground with a slight fire burning on his hand.

With only a single swipe of his hand, the fire vanished. Aakesh then focused on the fire giant, who had also crashed to the ground and was groaning in pain.

Since the fire giant was made of nothing but fire, it shouldn’t have felt pain when Aakesh attacked it. Aakesh had added the element of destruction in his punch when he attacked, resulting in it feeling an unbearable amount of pain. It was also the reason behind it not healing.

After the giant crashed to the ground, Aakesh found that even though the giant spanned over tens of meters, not even a nanometer of its body had crossed the block. It was as if each spot had its own space where the situation would conclude after Aakesh stepped on it.

Since the fire giant was crying in pain and Aakesh had no interest in continuing to stay here, Aakesh ended its misery by crushing its heart.

Time flew by.

Aakesh finally reached the block containing the cluster of grey-colored light dots.

As soon as Aakesh stepped, a sudden sense of exhaustion attacked Aakesh, but since he had unlimited stamina, it didn’t result in anything, and Aakesh didn’t fall asleep.

Aakesh took his next step since the exhaustion attack had no effect on him and continued until he finally reached the block containing grey-colored light dots.
