Chapter 440

Chapter 440: Beginning(2)

“Haha, master, I did it,” The hooded figure danced in jubilation, seeing the heart in Pucchi’s hands, completely ignoring her expressions.

Pucchi’s face turned red from anger as she glared at the figure while tears streamed down her cheeks continuously.

The figure ignored and continued jumping in jubilation as how could he not be excited when his plan of years was on the verge of success?

The heart in Pucchi’s hands suddenly had a change. Out of nowhere, it started melting.

The hooded figure stopped his jumping and took out the container in which he had stored Turta’s blood. He then took the heart from Pucchi’s hands and gently put it into the container filled with Turta’s blood.

Pucchi had attempted not to give the heart, but the power difference between her and the hooded figure was way vaster for her to accomplish it.

The hooded figure then grabbed the needle that was placed on the bed next to where once Turta slept and emptied it into the container, making it entirely full. Even a drop of liquid would be an extra addition to the container and drop on the ground as if it was manually made to handle a limited and fixed amount of liquid.

As soon as the needle turned empty and the contained got full in its entirety, the heart stored in it had a sudden change.

A swirl appeared right above the heart as the blood started assimilating into it.

A few seconds later, only the heart remained in the container, while all the blood had disappeared; not even a hint of it remained.

The heart had changed in its entirety. If previously it was grey in color, it was now golden and shone as if it was a valuable treasure.

The next moment, the golden heart started fading at a very slow rate.

“You did it,” Since it would take time for the following process to begin, the hooded figure looked toward Pucchi and commended her for achieving what he wanted.

“Why did you choose Turta for your plan?” Pucchi asked as she had never gotten the answer for the hooded figure choosing Turta for his plan. She had accepted it due to her hatred for Turta, but what was the reason behind the man choosing Turta?

“I guess I can tell you now since you’ve completed your mission,” The hooded figure responded, a smile hidden due to his covered face.

“Your nephew Turta…,”

“…I chose him.” The hooded figure told Pucchi the reason behind him choosing Turta.

Turta was born in the body of an Earthen Troll, but in reality, his soul belonged to a different creature.

His soul belonged to a creature called Sufotal. Sufotal was a creature that once lived in the Primal dimension and was the only member of its race.

In a battle with a creature stronger than itself, Sufotal died, and then it reincarnated itself in the body of your sister’s son.

Sufotal was a creature that lived its life on Ashamba, the Primordial tree, so it was the reason behind Turta’s close relation with the barks.

Sufotal originally had the ability to use the element of Chaos, but since it lived on Ashamba for so long, the negating ability of Ashamba worked on it.

The mutation gave Sufotal a new ability. The new power allowed Sufotal to manipulate the element of Absolute Nihility, a superior form of the element of Nihility.

Any element that had Absolute added with it became the power of Devas, so Sufotal became way more powerful than it should’ve been in the first place.

Unfortunately for the Sufotal, it faced a battle against a creature very powerful than it, and since it had only gained a minuscule control over the element, it died in the end.

Pucchi couldn’t help but suck a cold breath of air, listening about the Sufotal and Turta being its reincarnation.

She finally understood why Turta was extraordinary since his birth and how he felt the store was familiar due to it using Ashamba as the hardwood floor.

“Why did you kill him then?” Pucchi asked, as Turta being alive made more sense than him being dead.

“That you don’t need to know,” The hooded figure responded.

He then looked back at the container, only to see that the heart had half faded at that point.

“What about my reward?” Pucchi asked, wiping her tears from her face.

Even though Turta had died, and she felt an unimaginable pain in her heart for that, the love for Turta’s father still trumped it. She could live without Turta but not his father.

“Yes, your reward,” The hooded figure took his eyes away from the container.

“What was your reward, again?” The figure asked while his tone was playful.

Pucchi had a bad feeling, hearing the question and the tone of the hooded figure. “My lover,” She still answered. “Don’t even dare to break your promise. You’ve made an oath,” Pucchi further added.

Before accepting the mission, Pucchi had made the hooded figure take an oath so he wouldn’t break his promise after the successful completion of his goals.

“Haha, I know. I was only joking with you to lighten the mood,” The hooded figure laughingly responded.

“So-”

Pucchi was only going to speak something when her words came to a sudden halt.

“Cough!”

She coughed blood out as she looked down with a pale face and witnessed a hand piercing her chest.

“Wh-”

She wanted to ask, but before she could even utter a word, she lost her consciousness and not long after her life.

“Thud!”

The hooded figure took his hands out after crushing Pucchi’s heart, and then Pucchi crashed down to the ground.

“You can now meet your lover in the afterlife,” The hooded figure laughingly commented and returned his focus to the container.

The moment Pucchi died, the screen playing in front of Aakesh also came to a stop as the customer it worked on was dead.

“Sufotal,” Aakesh mumbled as he knew the name of the creature and its details.

After hearing about Turta being the reincarnation of Sufotal, Aakesh had an idea about the purpose of the hooded figure to kill Turta.

Since the hooded figure wasn’t in front of him but was present on a screen, Aakesh wasn’t able to see through his cover. He would only find out about it after leaving the store.
