Chapter 77 Origins IV

It had been years since Eir came out of the ruins, and ever since he had gone back to revisit the sight. He made sure to secure the a particular part of the ruin, the part with the room to be exact, and he did so by cutting it completely off and burying it deep underground somewhere else, a place nobody would ever think of going to.

The other rulers and monarchs were beyond shocked when they saw him come out of the ruins unscathed, but didn't see any sign of the other person that when in to kill him, and no matter how it looked, they could tell something was different about him. Anybody at all could tell, and the stronger the other party was, the clearer it was just how much more mystery lied within Eir.

When he came back, his nation went ever upwards, and if the sky was the set limit, they must have broken through it and had reached the moon. No other nation or empire dared to go against or antagonize Eir's nation, and it remained like that for a very long time. Even the powerful people that acted as they like couldn't even do so anymore, as they now had no choice than to follow the laws of the land, laws that Eir created to bring other and harmony between everybody.

Of course, it was apparent that some of these power houses must have ganged up together in attempt to teach Eir a lesson, or even do away with him, but in the end they couldn't succeed, and had to remain loyal. Not like they were given a choice after that, it was purely mandatory. The nation became very prosperous, and the warring times that plunged the entire world came to an end, and the only conflicts became between nations that had viable reason to.

Fast forward that a few years after the initial ten to fifteen, and the second attack of the demons came. The demon god was one that revelled in the presence of chaos and disorderliness. Of course, Eir was at the forefront of this war, and all was going relatively well for the first part, but not until the second phase of the war came. This time, something was different, and the demonic beasts and monsters weren't just the small fry that came before. The new ones that came were strong.

Apparently, the demon god must have found a way to bring more powerful creatures into the earth realm.

This, initially wasn't a big problem, well, not until a god came through the portal connecting the earth to the human world where the demons came through from. This god wasn't the demon god, no, the feeling was undeniable for everybody present, everybody except Eir.. This was the war god!

The moment he appeared, the others in the battlefield felt the urge to just bow before him, and coupled with the heavy pressure, they did. Eir was the only one that did not, and the god immediately laid his gaze on the man, before a sinister smirk appeared on his face.

Before Eir could even think of saying a word or processing why a god had come through the portal, his body was slammed against the rock side a couple of tens of metres away. He didn't even notice the being before him move, neither did he experience the journey through the air towards the rock, all his brain could register was that he had hit the rock. Whether this was teleportation, or just the show of share difference in strength, Eir was unsure, but one thing he was sure about was that he needed to do something about it.

.

.

"You don't even care to bow before your god! Is that the way a mortal should behave? Or whatever it is you are, I can't particularly call you a moral now can I?" The war god said, and that was only the beginning of the fight.

.

The fight went on for hours on end, and only then was Eir beginning to understand better his powers that he had gotten after the transformation. He had merely been using just a small percentage of it ever since, and during this fight was when he actually utilized it well. All in all, during the remaining time they spent fighting, their surrounding was the one that suffered the most, and many lives were lost. It didn't help that Eir's powers weren't the best geared towards fighting compared to the war god, but in the end even his wasn't geared towards one on one fights.

Majority of the earth ended up been raided by very powerful demons that laid waste everywhere they passed. Humanity desperately needed a saviour, and only within a couple days that this entire thing started, more than 50% of all the human settlements were severely affected.

Till today, Eir can't say how, but in that time, amidst all the chaos and suffering, he came up with a very brilliant plan. Maybe it was because of his will to bring peace over the world no matter how small, but he realized that the enemies were too strong, and even him would be unable to defeat the entirety of them, so, the best solution, was to trap them.

In that moment where he had to make a quick decision, he managed to think up an idea to trap the demons and the god together with himself in a different realm or world. He was sure the god whose power he possessed spoke about different worlds and realms, so perhaps if he could take all the demons to that place, or majority in the least, then he would be able to win.

He still doesn't know how it was possible, but he somehow was able to create a crack in space-

"I can't remember how exactly I did it... Was it some technique or magic?..."

"Whatever, right?"

"Yeah."

The point was that after that happened, he found himself and the god being dragged into the crack, but when he got here, he never found the god. He would say that they were separated upon entry, but then the demons that followed and fell into the crack all landed on the spot Eir was, or around it.

"So the thing is you don't actually know where this place is, you just coincidentally created a crack in space and it brought you here?" Dustin asked.

"Exactly."

"Hmm."

"After a long time spent here, I finally managed to seal the demons in a sort of pocket dimension within this world, but of course you freed some of them already." Hearing this, Dustin was just happy he freed the weak ones. If he was to let out something that even a demi-god level being could restrain in their numbers, then he would have died long ago. But wait..

"Don't you have godly control over beasts and monsters? Why didn't you just use that, you could have even gained neat army of monsters." Dustin said, before immediately realizing. He probably couldn't.

"Of course I would if I could, but in the end I chug that down to being a limitation because of my half baked power. I found it hard, not, impossible to control demonic creatures with a very strong darkness attribute, and that was why I could only opt for this option." Eir explained.

After spending hundreds of years in this realm, Eir finally could say he had mastered the realm, or at least was close to mastering it. From his perspective, the place seemed to be infinite, and he wasn't even sure if time slowed here, or he had actually attained immortality, as he was still the same as the day he entered. Though, they already knew which was possibly the reason.

"So what this all means is that we are trapped here for good?" Dustin said, his voice sounding sort of exhausted and a little defeated.

"Of course not, who said that? I said I have mastered this place. I have long found the way out, the problem is that I can't leave. If I do, the seal keeping the demons here will be weakened, and will later break. I have been killing these things little by little ever since, and since the seal takes lots of my energy to do, I can't be too energetic, so I can just take it step by step."

"So I can get out of this place?" Dustin asked.

"Of course! But even as I will like to let you go now, there is much we have to talk about and do, and you also are nowhere ready to leave." Eir told him.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you really think you will be able to survive within a special crack the way you are now? I know you came through some teleporting circle, but the only way out out is through the same way I got in here." Eir said.

"Really?"

"Now why would I lie to my own. Who do you think created that circle to begin with?"
