Name:The Fallen Merman Author:
The International Prison was located on an island in international waters, surrounded by the sea. It was about 700 kilometers away from the nearest land, and it wasn’t under the jurisdiction of any single country. Its officers came from all countries and regions, and the posts were filled regardless of one’s race or skin color.

A rich and mellow aroma of black coffee wafted in the warden’s coffee room. Du Mo set down a coffee cup by the warden’s side and then stood beside him to sort out the documents.

“Two experimental subjects were arrested in Greenfly City, and we have already taken them into custody.” Du Mo took the list of names sent today and put it in front of the warden, “Experimental Subject No. 61012 Cursemaker, Eris, and Experimental Subject No. 9100 Divine Envoy, Bai Chunian.”

The warden took the document and flipped through it, “Bai Chunian… The little white lion that Siren personally protected. Who was this blind and captured him?”

Du Mo had to explain, “He and Eris caused a big scene in downtown Greenfly City. Leaving them alone would’ve affected our reputation.”

“Humph…” The warden propped up his chin, his uniform loosely draped over his shoulders, “Yan Yi dares to openly dispatch moles to my land.”

Du Mo asked lightly, “Bai Chunian is President Yan’s trusted subordinate. Aren’t they afraid of dire consequences by doing this?”

“Dire consequences? He does whatever he wants with Siren’s support.” The warden picked up the coffee cup, swirled it, and said lazily, “This is great, over these last few years, the 109 Research Institute has cultivated three fully mimic-type experimental subjects in total. We suddenly collected two of them here, but the third one I’m always thinking of is consistently hiding and laying low. Let’s see how long he can hide.”

Du Mo went behind the seat and massaged the warden’s shoulders, leaning over to put forward his plans and ideas. “Bai Chunian is very sly, wily, and mischievous. He set up a lot of traps for us in the ATWL exam. I’ll pass down a notice right now and have Bai Chunian locked in the confinement cell forever, not letting him step even a foot out.“

The warden waved his hand lightly, “That’ll be like exposing to the world that we have something to hide. Yan Yi has always suspected that we have colluded with the powers of various countries. Our standpoint is very clear; experimental subjects are like nuclear weapons, powerful and full of intimidating force. Every country should have their own nuclear weapons, but unsupervised nuclear warheads that went out of control must be destroyed or permanently buried.”

“It happens that I, Li Wangxing, am acting with justification. Let’s see what he can find out from my place. Pass this down, handle it according to our normal sequence of processes. ”

The International Prison, namely, the International Heavy-Duty Prison, kept all targets that caused great harm to society or had huge potential risks in custody. Almost every prisoner who entered here had blood on their hands. Actually, there were not many experimental subjects in the International Prison; the great majority were human criminals.

Even without sending extra manpower to increase the surveillance, the International Prison’s innate supervision and defense were already extremely strict.

Bai Chunian and Eris were not assigned to the same prison block, because Eris committed mass murder and was judged as a felon. He was locked up in the same prison block with leaders of terrorist organizations and bombing madmen.

Bai Chunian did not kill anybody and only caused chaos in order, so he was locked up with a group of humans that committed misdemeanors like street terrorist incidents, violent gang attack criminals, etc.

Just as he was escorted into the prison cell door by the prison police, seven or eight malicious gazes were cast onto him in the narrow cell.

These eight inmates could really be described as burly men. The frontmost one was picking his feet. His shaved scalp was marked by a dragon claw and covered by a fresh layer of short hair. He was sitting on a chair, holding one leg, and sizing up Bai Chunian from head to toe.

The experimental subjects who were put on the suppressor were no different from humans and were even inferior to humans because of their build. Experimental subjects conformed to the aesthetics of their designing researcher; they basically all had the body type of a beautiful youth. Their figures’ characteristics were slim and fair with clear skin, as well as having slender hands and feet. They would look out of place in a group of rough men, especially Bai Chunian, who had experienced Rimbaud’s favor. When his appearance was put into this group of uglies, saying that he was unique wouldn’t be an exaggeration.

So as soon as he came in, the eyes of the prisoners, who hadn’t smelled meat for many years, lit up. So what if he was an alpha? As long as one was starved long enough, even a pretty alpha would do.

Seeing that Bai Chunian was about to be eaten by this group of savage prisoners until his bones wouldn’t even be left, the prison guard who escorted him in gave him a look, rejoicing in his misfortune. He casually said “no fighting,” locked the prison door, and left.

Bai Chunian’s back was against the prison door, and he was wearing an ashy-gray specialized uniform like the rest. The loose clothes on his body were pleasing to the eye, his hands were stuck in the pants pockets, and he was wearing a fishbone stud earring. He looked a bit cooler.

The black bear alpha took a fancy to Bai Chunian at a glance. His heart became restless, and he planned to coax the little kitten into his bed tonight.

“What happened to your eye? So pitiful.” He stretched out his hand pretensively, wanting to gently caress and stroke the bandage that wrapped Bai Chunian’s left eye. “Baby, pick a bed you like.”

Of course, Bai Chunian was happy to make friends. He reached out his hand, shook hands, and chose the bed in the best position in the entire cell. There was already bedding on it.

Seeing this, the others whistled and rowdy jeered; Bai Chunian had picked their boss’s bed.

Black bear alpha laughed and lifted the hem of his clothes to reveal his majestic abs, “Are you choosing me to sleep with you?”

“No, no.” Bai Chunian rolled up his bedding, casually placed it on some other damaged bed, and began to make the bed carefully. He was used to making a bed for Rimbaud. The finicky little fish would refuse to sleep on the bed, saying that the fish tank was more comfortable. Bai Chunian would have to make the waterbed smooth for him at night and then carry Rimbaud out of the fish tank, dry him, and put him in his own bed.

However, Rimbaud was now in the maturity stage and didn’t fear the heat like before. Bai Chunian always liked to hold him firmly in his arms at night. This bed was in a good location and was relatively private. He could earnestly think of his wife at night.

He was completely unsatisfied with this prison block. Golden Silk Spider was detained in the felony prison block. If he wanted a chance to see Golden Silk Spider, he must enter a higher-level prison block.

Bai Chunian’s amiable manner of making the bed made the black bear even more excited. His throat dried up, and he couldn’t help himself from wanting to get started and touching him a little.

黑熊靠过去,哑声问白楚年:“吸过alpha的diao吗。”

The black bear leaned over and asked Bai Chunian in a husky voice, “Have you ever sucked an alpha’s dick?”

Bai Chunian lowered his eyes and sorted out the pillow. “My wife resembles an alpha very much when he’s fierce.”

The black bear laughed, “Oh, this kid has a wife? Forget about your wife. After getting in here, can you even get out without being here for decades?”

Only after Bai Chunian finished tidying up his things did he have time to look him in the eyes. He bent one leg and stepped on the edge of the bed, while the other leg dangled underneath, “Tell me, how did you guys get in?”

The black bear alpha sneered, “I burned and killed a street of traders because they owed me protection fees but didn’t pay up.”

“Oh.” Bai Chunian stopped listening and didn’t respond. After working as a special agent for so many years, this level could only be regarded as child’s play compared to the level of crime he had handled and investigated.

The black bear had always been proud of his crime because it was crazy enough. He thought he could conquer him with such a feat and didn’t expect that Bai Chunian wouldn’t listen earnestly at all.

He suppressed his dissatisfaction and asked, “Don’t you want to say something?”

“Oh, that’s all?” Bai Chunian responded indifferently.

The black bear grabbed his collar. His thick and solid arm could lift Bai Chunian up single-handedly. He laughed viciously, “It seems that it is impossible not to let the newcomers suffer a little. Considering your white skin and soft flesh, I’ll be merciful. Don’t refuse this kindness.”

Originally, Bai Chunian didn’t care much, but that big, rough hand suddenly grabbed his forearm, and Bai Chunian’s hair immediately bristled.

He kicked the black bear in the chest and kicked himself off the wall for a graceful landing. He looked at the tattoo on his forearm. The words that Rimbaud engraved on him could emit a light blue glimmering light. However, he couldn’t rub it frequently because it would fade if he did.

“Ss… it’s fine to play around, but don’t rub off the words. It’s so boring here. I’ve been depending on these to live on.”

Seeing their boss kicked and his expression turning grim, anyone with eyes knew that their boss was truly angry. The few other prisoners stopped watching the fun and swarmed around, wanting to properly educate the newcomer.

Bai Chunian grabbed the bed railing and sent a flying kick. He kicked a person’s chin head-on. After that, he didn’t care about anyone else, grabbing the black bear boss and violently beating him up, punching him murderously.

One must know that if one entered the International Prison, no matter whether it was an experimental subject or a human, everyone had to wear a suppressor. However, the drug dosage of the human suppressor was very small, and it was kept at a level that controlled the prevention of differentiation abilities.

So, they both fought barehanded. Few people were a match for professional special agents, let alone one that went through training for special experimental subjects.

With only three moves, Bai Chunian pressed the black bear alpha’s head against the railing. His hand was wedged in his nape, and he did not even lose his breath. He scoffed, “Baby, if I wasn’t keeping myself pure for my wife and Laozi wasn’t a married man, do you think your guys’ assholes would be protected?”

The black bear was still trying to struggle, but Bai Chunian lifted his knee and ruthlessly slammed into the hollow of his waist. He screeched and crawled on the ground while holding his waist. Bai Chunian flipped him over with the tip of his foot, stepped on his crotch, and grinded it.

After the long abstinence from violence, Bai Chunian was very relaxed from being able to hit someone again. He stepped on his bones and listened to the beautiful sound of bone cracking. The corners of his mouth couldn’t help but rise, enjoying the feeling that should be a part of him by nature.

The black ore on his ear flickered slightly like a beating heart, as if it was breathing. Bai Chunian suddenly stopped, as if he had been woken up. He stepped over the black bear’s body, who was wailing incessantly. He sat down on a bottom bunk and crossed his legs, “Come, the new boss will tell you guys about the new rules.”

The others kept silent out of fear; how would they dare to be rash? One by one, they submissively listened to Bai Chunian establish the new rules.

Bai Chunian, “Get a pen and paper. I need to teach you guys a new language. It will be convenient to listen to me in the future. Today, you guys will first learn ten words.”

They made such a big scene in the prison cell that they very quickly drew over a correctional officer. The correctional officer pushed open the door, foul-mouthed and holding a thin disciplinary whip, “Who’s making trouble?”

The thin disciplinary whip in his hand was electric. When it was whipped against the body, there would be a rather severe electric shock, but it would not make people faint. All the prisoners were afraid of this.

At a glance, the correctional officer saw the black bear was lying on the ground, calling out in pain. He immediately took his walkie-talkie to contact his colleague and then asked sharply, “Who did this? Stand up!”

Bai Chunian stood up.

“Alright, making trouble on the first day. Get out.” The correctional officer knew that he was a difficult person with a glance. Properly weakening his authority was needed.

Bai Chunian was locked up in confinement. In the little narrow dark room, there was only an iron door in front of him. A stream of very weak light could penetrate through the crack of the door, and the black ore on his ear emitted a dull blue light in the darkness.

He laid down on the little narrow damp bed boards, resting his head on his hand. A rotten odor pervaded the air. Maybe it was night outside; the night had always emitted a rotten smell.

Some of the wounds left by the electric disciplinary whip were still on Bai Chunian’s body. The scarlet wounds marked his cold, white skin, but he simply didn’t care and waited leisurely.

Around three hours later, a noise came from the confinement cell next door, and someone entered again.

Hearing that the voice was Eris, Bai Chunian was not surprised at all. He initially thought he would have to wait another day inside.

Bai Chunian whistled. Eris heard this sign of activity and hugged the correctional officer, looking around excitedly. “Da-ge, where are you? We’re truly fated!”

Then he was whipped by the correctional officer and pushed into a confinement cell.

Although there were many prison blocks in the International Prison, the confinement cells were built together. Even though Eris really was not part of Bai Chunian’s plan, since he was here, Bai Chunian would not put aside a resource he could utilize.

After the correctional officer left, the restless Eris began to feel the wall, making rustling sounds.

Although he was wearing a suppressor and couldn’t use his differentiation or his associated ability, the inherent ability of the gland itself would not disappear, such as Samuel’s infectious virus, Bai Chunian’s sensitive hearing and climbing ability, and Eris’s ability to bring bad luck.

Bai Chunian could clearly hear every sound in the surrounding confinement cells.

“Hey, I know you can hear me,” Eris whispered from next door.

However, Bai Chunian did not respond, because the walls between the confinement cells were very thick. Eris definitely wouldn’t be able to hear him.

Now that he knew that Bai Chunian was next door, Eris started to harp on in bits and pieces, “Do you know why I was locked up? Haha, the police officer I bit and marked was hacked to death when the cafeteria’s ceiling fan fell down. Hahaha, I think it’s so funny.”

Even if he couldn’t hear Bai Chunian’s response, Eris couldn’t help but keep chatting with him. “I thought this place was so special, but it turns out it’s no different from my previous life… Oh right, I saw Golden Silk Spider when I arrived. He had a 211 plate hung on his chest, just like us.”

In order to prevent confusion, an experimental subject’s prison number was its own number. 211 was Golden Silk Spider.

Bai Chunian sat up and earnestly listened to his nonsense.

“Golden Silk Spider was bought back together with us. I just knew that he was foolishly holding a mummy. He holds it when he eats and also when he sleeps. Where did his mummy go? Oh, it seems like he is at the maturity stage now. I feel like he isn’t that foolish anymore.”

Bai Chunian pondered his words. If Golden Silk Spider had entered the maturity stage, then he would get a bit more information, which was good news.

His top priority job was to find a way to see Golden Silk Spider. First, he had to enter the prison block for felons. This couldn’t be rushed.

Bai Chunian reckoned that the warden should already be aware of the news of him entering the prison, but his purpose was actually not to investigate the prison. Instead, it was to get close to Golden Silk Spider.

Eris spoke for a while. It was pretty boring with nobody responding, so he gradually quieted down.

The passage of time couldn’t be sensed in the confinement cell, and it was unknown how much time had elapsed. Their entire beings have seemingly sunk into the muddleheaded darkness, isolated from the rest of the world.

After a very long period of time, Bai Chunian heard Eris talking to himself, “Actually, I don’t like the night.”

Bai Chunian liked night time pretty well. It was quiet and relaxing, and there was someone to accompany him throughout the night.

The ore on his ear was flickering like Rimbaud was breathing next to his ear.

What was this little troublesome fish doing now? It should be time to sleep. He gently caressed and stroked the ore on his ear, coaxing him.

It was currently night time on Greenfly Island.

Rimbaud didn’t sleep in the sea tonight. He took the key that Bai Chunian left him, climbed into the instructor’s spacious and empty single-person villa, and pushed open the door. There was still a faint smell of the alpha’s pheromones inside.

Half a month passed, and Rimbaud hadn’t smelled the scent he liked for a long time. Although half a month was only a brief moment in his lifespan, since meeting Bai Chunian, his passage of time had slowed down.

He took out Bai Chunian’s half-sleeve T-shirt from the suitcase, clutched it in his hands, and sniffed it. He was in a daze in the quiet bedroom for a while and then covertly put the T-shirt on himself.

After all, it was an alpha’s clothes. It looked very loose on him, with a very long hem that barely covered his fins.

Rimbaud pulled up the collar, lowered his head, and sniffed it. He then took another one, climbed into the bed, curled up where Bai Chunian had slept, and fell asleep with his clothes in his arms.

Someone caressed and stroked his heart tenderly in his sleep. He liked being treated like that, but he was King, so of course he wouldn’t say it out loud.
