I had always wondered why Bridgette, the eldest daughter of the Modell family, had become Kaisar’s slave in the first place. Although I guessed from the rumours about him that might be the case, it was still eerie that the Modell family, whose daughter got enslaved, showed no sign of moving at all.

However, as I began investigating Kaisar’s background, I slowly started understanding why.

Kaisar ostensibly appears to have lost the reins of the Kvist family to his brother, but in reality, it is highly likely that Kaisar is the one who controls the Kvist family behind the scenes.

I had a lot of trouble getting this information, and it was still a matter of speculation. But with the testimony of Gwen, Kaisar’s younger brother by two years, Marie, who is three years younger than Kaisar, and the students in Kaisar’s class, I came up with this hypothesis which is probably the case.

Moreover, there is a high possibility that it was Kaisar who accused his father, Gurd, and his second wife, Iris, while protecting his brother and sister from the aftermath of the incident.

What he did was close to an usurpation of his family, but, since it was Kaisar, a blood relative and the eldest son, who carried the act even though he didn’t have the inheritance, you could say he protected his family considering the Kvist family itself would have disappeared if her hadn’t stopped his parents’ foolishness.

He has a family-oriented side to him, as he didn’t let his brother and sister get burdened by the fall while he took all the blame for the death of their parents.

However, Kaisar’s only miscalculation is that his younger brother and sister were too young to be so careless, and they worship him more than he knows.

Although it was a small failure undetected without careful observation, it turned out good for me as I got to know his hidden side.

I was surprised to learn that, but at the same time, I knew I was late.

And, perhaps the Modells were aware of all those things way before we could’ve known.

That is why they sent their eldest daughter, Bridgette, to Kaisar.

At this stage, my speculations had become almost certain. However, Karendoll is still my only daughter.

Unless I am sure that he is a reliable partner, I cannot send her away.

That’s my duty as a parent.

By the way, my husband is more annoying than I was about this, and at the worst, he may even resist the idea of sending her off, but I’ll have to shut him up physically at that time.

And then that incident happened.

My eldest son, Dominic, had been found guilty of being involved with Dark Guild.
