December 31, the last day of the year.

We talked about whether or not to go to Hatsumode as the date changed, and seemingly nobody wants to head out in the middle of the night. So it was decided that we will visit the shrine together in the morning to greet the New Year. (TLN- Hatsumode is the Japanese tradition of visiting a shrine or temple to welcome the new year.)

“… Mou, Hayato-kun, sleeping so soundly at a time like this.”

Aina said so as if she was sulking a little.

The time was around past eleven midnight, so Hayato was already asleep. He was cozily resting on Sakuna’s lap,

“Well, he has done a lot of cleaning this morning, so no wonder he’s tired.”

Even though she was sulking, it wasn’t to that extent.

Aina reached out her arm and patted Hayato on the head, expressing her sympathy for him after he had taken the initiative in carrying the heavy stuff for them.

“But he does look so cute in his sleep.”

The two nodded at Sakuna’s words.

Since it was the last day of the year, they were thinking of doing that altogether again, though it would be a little too naughty, they wanted to make it a lasting memory of the year. Of the three of them, Sakuna is the one who is the most aggressive once she starts. Although she is a terrific performer, she is not reckless and does not force Hayato out of his stride. Sometimes she wants Hayato to be hard on her, sometimes she leads him on the contrary and sometimes she entertains him with a slightly extreme foreplay… She’s the one who can please Hayato in many different ways.

Aina’s words were filled with so many emotions.

To which both Arisa and Sakuna nodded in agreement. Tomorrow would be the New Year, but this year has brought many changes for the three of them. Their encounter with Hayato changed everything and brought them the happiness they have today.

“I… want a child. I want to have a child with Hayato-kun.”

Sakuna was sure that if Hayato and the girls were there, it would be a happy and joyful year. 

After the three of them talked for a while, Hayato woke up. He got up rubbing his eyes and bowed to Sakuna who gave him her lap to sleep on.

“… Ah, was I asleep? I’m sorry, Sakuna-san.”

“It’s okay, I’m totally fine.”

Hayato woke up at 23:30, just a few minutes before New Year.

They decided to stay up together for a little while longer, and enjoyed chatting while watching a New Year Eve’s celebration on TV.

And the time has finally come.

The hands of the clock struck twelve, and then it moved beyond that point.

Their voices overlapped, announcing the arrival of the New Year.
