Chapter 293 Adventures Of The Solo Boss

Name:The Black Necromancer Author:Nilo_A
As Leon and his three summons took care of the various hideouts throughout the city, Michael went on his own journey. He did not go to the headquarters of the gang, but went to a completely separate place. He had even left the country to do it. He was going to single handedly root out the major backers of the Black Fangs gang.

The reason why Michael was doing this was very simple. It was all to make Leon happy. A happy Leon was a content Leon, and if Leon could get this distraction out of his way, then he would focus on increasing his strength.

The reason why Michael wanted to get this over with was because of how important Leon's growth meant to his strength. Although Leon did not worship Michael or pray to him like other mortals, one thing that boosted the strength of a God was the growth and talent of their underlings.

Leon was not Michael's underling, per se, but thanks to the Title that Michael had given him some time ago, Leon's strength directly fueled Michael's strength. It was difficult to explain the relationship to mortals, as they did not understand the inherent nature of a God.

It was all because of himself, so to speak, that Michael was doing this. He was paving his path to becoming a Major God. There was a reason why Fazir was so greatly respected among the Gods of Datar. It was nearly impossible to beat a Major Fate God. Most worlds only possessed a single Minor Fate God, or a couple, however, Datar possessed four of them, with one being a Major Fate God.

Tap.

Michael's feet softly tapped against the ground as he landed on the helipad of a mansion that had been built on an island in the middle of the sea.

"Who are you?!" At once, a multitude of armed guards appeared and multiple defensive turrets appeared from hidden bunkers. A nearly invisible barrier formed a bubble around the main building of the mansion where the culprits surely were.

'Magic? Of course, it is only right that they have such measures. But even I am surprised. The development of magic in this world it far beyond what I expected.' Michael thought to himself without paying any attention to the men around him.

"This fool is ignoring us, get him, boys!" The guards suddenly opened fire with their guns after seeing that Michael did not respond to them.

Dududududud!

The dull sounds of the bullets hitting an invisible wall resounded as Michael stood, unshaken by the assault. The bullets were infused with mana, but they were unable to do anything to Michael.

"Magic?! Use the magic turrets!" The head guard saw what was happening and did not hesitate to pull out the big guns. The turrets that had been on standby mode suddenly blazed to life and unleashed a hale of mana infused bullets on Michael's position. The bullets were infused with fire attributed mana to increased their damage. Instantly, orange flames spread around in a radius of ten meters, followed by a cloud of smoke that was being torn apart by the hail of bullets.

Ten seconds later, the turrets powered down, and the hail of bullets stopped. The guards waited for the cloud of dust to clear out before checking the outcome.

"Put of the fires!" The man ordered and sprinklers began to spray water around while a few people, who appeared to be mages among the guards, stepped forward to use magic to put out the magical fire.

"What? How?" The tall man that was the head guard was shocked when he saw that the intruder was still completely fine. The barrier around him remained strong and did not even shake.

"Hmm, your level of development in terms on magic surprises me. But it is far too inferior to pose any danger to me. In fact, even a strand of my hair will not be harmed by your primitive methods." Michael nonchalantly said and snorted.

"I don't know how you did that, but you surely possess some good skills or treasures. Why don't you join us?" The man held out his hand. "The name's Barley Saw, Head Guard of the Black Fangs. If you join us, I can guarantee you a spot as my right hand man."

"Hmm, you humor me." Michael chuckled and turned his gaze to Barley. The blue eyes that the man once saw now glowed with a bright light that forced a heavy pressure onto Barley's soul.

"Hurgh!" Barley grunted as he fell to his feet, loosing consciousness. With just one look, he had been put out of commission.

"Boss Barley!" The guards then opened fire on Michael again, but a wave of invisible mana pulsed out of Michael, knocking out all the guards around him. It was almost as if they were a bunch of flies that had been hit by a spray of insecticide.

Michael took a look around before carrying on as if nothing concerned him. He knew that the ones behind the Black Fang organization were watching him and already planning on how to take him down.

'I wonder what their reactions would be like if they knew they were opposing an actual God. These fools still think that they are fighting a human. I should turn them to my slaves.' Michael rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he walked into the mansion that was full of guards and defenses.

"Hey! Stop right there!" A host of people came rushing down the stairs that were right in front of the entrance of the mansion. Six people stood at the forefront of the guards, their auras powerful and mighty. At least, for humans on Earth.

'Oh! Some of them have the auras of D ranks! And I thought I wouldn't see anything that amazed me here. I guess following Leon came with its perks, after all.' Michael smirked wickedly. He rolled up the sleeves of his blazer and unbuttoned its front buttons.

"I can't ruin this suit just for you small fries." He said and raised his gaze to meet the rage filled ones of the guards.
