Chapter 845 No Motivation

Cheng Yan wasn't discouraged by this comment. Instead, he simply chuckled, tilting his head in adoration.

After all, he had seen how Yao Tang was indifferent to the others.

Having her eat the food he had picked himself was already a huge breakthrough.

Besides, they still had plenty of time in the future. They could still take it slowly. He had plenty of patience anyway, and their relationship still had quite a lot of room to grow.

Soon, everyone had already finished their meals and desserts.

"The place is not that bad."

Meng Yang wiped his hands and patted his stomach.

Although the small restaurant was located in a remote area, it wasn't inferior to the other top restaurants in A City. They were being served home-cooked dishes, so the taste of the dishes were quite nostalgic.

It was amazing!

Lin Xin nodded vigorously. "We must come again!"

Seeing her friends' satisfied expressions, Yao Tang smiled widely and glanced over at Qin Jing. "I'll send you back to the Qin Family to see Grandpa Qin later. After that, I'll drive you to the airport tomorrow morning."

Beijing had been chaotic in the past few days.

The Green Cloud Pavilion had suffered so many setbacks. If they found any clues about Qin Jing and the others, it wouldn't be good for them.

The other organizations were also getting restless.

The last thing she wanted was for them to get hurt.

Seeing the seriousness in her eyes, Qin Jing slowly nodded. "Okay."

Once they all paid the bill, Yao Tang got into her car and sat in the driver's seat.

The others all shared a look. When they saw Cheng Yan standing at the side, they all took a step back and decided to sit in the back seat instead.

The young man sat beside her.

As Yao Tang was fastening her seatbelt, she caught sight of Cheng Yan sitting beside her. Her eyebrows quickly furrowed over.

Wasn't he busy?

Why was he even accompanying them now? Was he going to follow them to the Qin Family?

Cheng Yan felt her curious gaze on his back. He smiled casually as he said his excuse, "It's too troublesome to call a taxi. Besides, I haven't seen old man Qin for quite a while now. Now that I already have an opportunity, I must pay him a visit. Don't you think?"

After hearing his explanation, she nodded and let him be.

There was enough space in the car anyway.

Seeing that she had agreed, Cheng Yan slowly relaxed in his seat. At least he'd be able to stay with Yao Tang for a longer period of time.

They could still continue their conversation.

He seemed to be in a much better mood.

The car started and Yao Tang drove out of the alley where the restaurant was located. Within a few minutes, they were back in the bustling roads heading toward the city.

She pressed the button, the car automatically lowered the partition between the driver's seat and the back seat.

That way, they could all communicate with each other.

"What are you guys studying? It's been a while since I've attended the classes."

Before she left, she made sure that she left them a study plan.

She made sure that every minute of their school hours was preoccupied with studying. This would ensure that they'd all improve by the time she got back.

As soon as Meng Yang heard her, he pouted. "It's all right. I just haven't finished the test papers yet."

"Right!"

"My learning progress has been slow." Lin Xin sighed.

"Yeah," Qin Jing joined it. "I just don't feel motivated."

The three of them sighed and frowned in unison. Without Yao Tang to guide them in their revisions, the results of their studies have become much worse. They felt like something was missing.

However, now that they were able to see Yao Tang, they felt more energetic.

"Oh?"

Yao Tang asked thoughtfully.

The other three nodded quickly, thinking that she might go soft on them. However, what they didn't expect was for her to say this,

"All right. I'll continue to make up for the online lessons. I'll send you the new test papers in a few days," she said with a shrug.

Qin Jing froze.
