President Tan stayed rooted on the spot, stunned. He had never thought that Yao Tangwould be this popular.

These three elders were incredibly famous, and their backgrounds were no less than his. All of them had the financial and professional backing that any potential student would want.

If Yao Tang were to really take them up on their offer, then her opportunities knew no limits. The sky’s the limit, basically.

A bright smile slipped into his lips.

It seemed that everyone really recognized his student’s talents.

However, as he smiled, he couldn’t help but feel somewhat hesitant in his heart. It was as if someone he had searched long and hard for was being taken from him yet again. And the fact that he had just found her not long ago… He took a deep breath.

Well, whatever her choice was, he’d just have to respect it.

Tan Jian’s jaw was still open as he tried to register what was happening.

He had met some of the elders a few times from his father’s meetings. However, he had always known them as unfeeling and strict professors—all of whom had a very strong and high regard for their affinities.

Now, it seemed that he was already seeing a totally different side of them.

If this was known to the others, they’d be too surprised to even act!

Yao Tang, his junior, truly was talented!

Although Tan Jian had not been officially accepted as his father’s student, his father did teach him. That’s why he’d naturally call her his junior.

“Think about it. I’m the one who brought you to the Cabinet, didn’t I?” Elder Xu squeezed into the front, a soft smile on his face. “Take me as your teacher and you wouldn’t regret it.”

There was no way he was going to let his student-run off like this.

“There’s no such thing as that rule! It’s first-come, first-serve, remember? And I came first!” Elder Wang shoved him out of the way before gazing into Yao Tang’s eyes. He grinned, waving his hand. “Don’t listen to them. With me by your side, you can learn everything you need!”

“You’re scaring her!”

Elder Li rolled his eyes. “Tangtang, you must think about my offer very carefully. My family is quite powerful around here, and I swear to my instrument that I will make sure you could have everything you ever wanted. This old man right here? Don’t bother with him. He’s weird and he’d only drown you with his high expectations,” he murmured grumpily. “And Elder Xu isn’t quite financially capable to take your requests.”

“Not financially capable?” Elder Xu scoffed, shoving his card into Yao Tang’s hand. “That’ll show you!”

However, before he could say anything to the young woman, she quickly returned it to him.

Elder Xu’s heart thumped in his chest. Was she going to reject him again?

He had already been rejected once last time. If she rejected him again, he’d be more fueled to fight for her.

However, before he could say anything, Yao Tang took a few steps back. She reached out to rub her temples, unable to look them in the eye.

With everyone shouting their offers, she felt like she was having a headache.

The more teachers or masters she’d had, the more troublesome her life would be.

Currently, she already had other teachers and coaches flooding her phone just waiting to be replied to. If she added them there as well, her life would be a disaster in the making!

Naturally, she’d have to reject them.

“I already have one,” Yao Tang spoke faintly, unaffected by their pleading attitude.

“What?” Elder Wang was the first one to react. “You already have a teacher?”

He had never heard of Yao Tang having a teacher already. In the Association, a musician could have two masters?one from the Association, and one from the Cabinet if they have proved themselves to be a genius.

Yao Tang did not have a teacher in the Cabinet.

“Tangtang, you really don’t have to lie to us,” Elder Li tried to say. “Who’s your teacher?”

Elder Xu didn’t speak, secretly delighted by her words. He knew that Yao Tangwasn’t the type to agree so easily. The teacher she was talking about was probably President Tan.

He had been rejected before. Now, it was high time that these two would have a taste of their own medicine!

Yao Tang wouldn’t acknowledge anyone else as her teacher.

This would be truly an interesting sight to see. President Tan’s head tilted upward. He had been at the side watching this entire time, but it seemed that his student now needed his help.

Cough! Cough! Cough!

President Tan finally cleared his throat. “I am her teacher.”

Although he wasn’t able to teach her anything just yet, he was still her teacher in the eyes of the Music Association.

“It’s you?”

Elder Wang couldn’t help but walk over to him, sizing him up. “I remember you,” he finally said. “You’re Tan Xian, the chairman of the Music Associationin A City. She’s your disciple?”
