384 Contacting that special someone

Zi Han could sense the change in her attitude. It seemed this woman had dealt with his mother before.

“She knows that you are my son. You better be careful,” said Zi Xingxi recalling how she beat the shit out of that young woman because she had leveraged people’s lives as well so she could be set free.

Zi Xingxi couldn’t tolerate her nonsense thus she beat her ass up. This masochist couldn’t take it. She gave up the information real quick. After that experience, she was obviously afraid of Zi Xingxi.

Zi Han showed a sinister grin as he sat opposite her. “Your grandfather must be so proud to see where you are now. He raised you didn’t h-,” he said only for her to glare at him like she wanted to skin him alive while interrupting him,

“Don’t you fucking dare talk about my grandfather. He has nothing to do with this,” her hands trembling. She grabbed her bikini top and slid it on her attitude having taken a three hundred and sixty three degree turn.

“If he was here he would be extremely proud of you, right? Her little Lean Lean has grown up to be this wonderful and kind woman,” said Zi Han and when her real name, a name her grandfather alone called out came out of his mouth she couldn’t take it anymore.

She yelled, “What do you fuckin want?”

“I want you to tell me where that shipment is. That’s it,” replied Zi Han.

Lean averted her gaze and said, “Then you will kill me, right? I know how you people from the Bloodgarde operate. You go against every law in the federation.”

.....

???????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ????????????????????-????????????.????????????

Zi Han wasn’t really interested in her BS. He had a boyfriend he had to meet up with so he said, “You already know what’s going to happen so what’s the point of not telling me what I need to know? You have already wronged so many people. You might as well do something good for someone before you die.”

Lean opened her mouth to say something only for the door to open and a guard entered the pool room. He was startled more especially when he saw his boss lying on the ground his face ashen.

When he met Zi Han’s eyes he panicked and turned to run out only for Zi Han to point his gun at him and shoot him.

Lean took that opportunity and ran. She rushed over towards the nearest door but Zi Han was faster. He caught up with her and hooked her neck in a choke hold before slamming her onto the floor.

He drew his weapon and without any consideration, he shot her cleanly through the head.

After that, he walked back a few steps while apologizing. “I am sorry, I was afraid she will slip away,” said Zi Han gently hitting his temple with the grip of his handgun.

Zi Xingxi comforted him, “It’s fine. Lynn Feng will find those people. Just be on the lookout, shit is about to go down.”

Zi Han got himself together while Raya checked her vitals to confirm she was dead. Soon after that sounds of hordes of people rushing over to the pool room ripped through the air. Zi Han tapped on the side of his ear and the black mask covered his face.

He turned to Raya and asked, “Lights off?”

Raya nodded his head and said, “Yes.”

Zi Han made an okay gesture to the camera while he drew his weapon. He drew his weapon and took the lead. The men and women rushing over to the pool room suddenly fell into darkness. That was when the real panic set in.

They had never expected something like this would happen. Now there were in the dark with no idea who their enemy was.

Because Zi Han and Raya could see in the dark they turned that building into a one-sided blood bath. There was some friendly fire among the criminals.

A series of lights flashed through the windows lighting up the darkness. Secretary K who had his finger on the trigger was starting to get very anxious. He was ready to pull the trigger at a moment’s notice.

He wiped his forehead which was glistening with sweat while asking, “Ma’am, should I send in back up?”

Zi Xingxi was pinching her lips and she was obviously worried but her words didn’t reflect that. “Give him ten minutes. If he is not out then... you can send in everyone,” she said.

Four minutes later Zi Han finally spoke.

“We found a bunch of people in the basement and they seem to be in a bad shape,” he said while shining the light on the group of people cowering in fright.

He took out some candy and water handing it over to Raya. He wasn’t sure when was the last time these people ate or drank something. When they brought in new people this was the place they arrived to first and got broken before they are sent out to the other branches.

This meant these people had been through so much torment and one could see it in their listless eyes.

Raya took the water and candy pieces and distributed them while Zi Han continued, “You can send people in... I think we are done with this.”

Watching these people suffer so much made Zi Han’s heart hurt. He couldn’t understand why someone would make people suffer like this. Why do to others what they wouldn’t want others to do to them? He suddenly felt like he made the right decision to join the Bloodgarde. This way he could truly help people. The people who really needed his help.

Zi Xingxi showed a slight smile while saying, “I am proud of you. You did good.”

Zi Han pursed his lips before saying, “I wish I had come sooner. At least now they can regain their freedom.”

Lynn Feng didn’t want to cut in on their conversation but she had no choice. She pulled up footage from all cameras that caught the vehicles driving in and out of that building for the past couple of days.

After combing through all the trucks she said, “I think she might have lied about the shipment. The people Han Han found in the basement were her last batch of people. According to past records, she brings in a group and breaks them down emotionally and psychologically before sending them to the brothels. She never takes two groups at the same time.”

“So it was self-preservation,” said Zi Xingxi.

“Most likely but I am still searching,” replied Lynn Feng.

While these two were conversing Zi Han had already walked out. The moment a group of armed guards walked in he was already on his light brain getting in contact with someone special.

That someone special had been looking forward to this very moment for a very long time. The only problem was that his mother was like a hawk. She wasn’t going to let him roam around by himself. She stuck Raya on him like white on rice.
