218 Doing it here would be inappropriate...

He peeked his head out but other than the sound of the wind blowing through the passages the entire place was silent.

In cautious slow steps, Yi Chen walked out of the door and as expected there was nothing. If it weren’t for the cracks and dents in the walls he would have thought that those creatures were his own imagination.

He raised his wrist to check the detector. His vision was slightly blurred but that didn’t stop him. Using the walls of the passage for support he slowly walked over.

Because he was in excruciating pain he had to take short rests thus it took him a much longer time to get to the device.

His bloodied hand touched the passageway wall leaving behind a distinct palm print before he entered the kitchen. Before he could take a step forward the cold muzzle of a lock-on handgun pressed on his temple.

Yi Chen’s adam’s apple rolled as a drop of cold sweat dripped down touching the metal. He was about to speak when he was embraced tightly. Yi Chen was about to push the person away when he smelt the familiar citrus fragrance. Yi Chen didn’t fight anymore.

Like he had finally found solace after years of pain and suffering he relaxed his muscles as he held on to Zi Han like he was holding on to a lifeline.

Zi Han didn’t think he would find Yi Chen here in such a state. He had woken up on the cold floor alone and curled up into himself. He had lost his father all over again but this time he experienced the pain of losing him firsthand.

After crying on the floor by himself for a long while he suddenly wanted to see Yi Chen, not his mother. If he saw his mother he might have to explain to her what he saw and he didn’t want that. He didn’t have the emotional strength to face her right now.

.....

He wanted Yi Chen. He simply wanted to embrace him and be in his comfort. This was the thing that made him get up. When he got to his feet he dizzyingly checked the extractor button but just as he was about to press it he saw the detector was flashing rapidly.

Since there was a device here he decided to find it. Who would have thought while he was searching for it someone would appear in this deserted villa that could have been his home?

When he saw who it was he felt a sudden wave of emotion overpowering him. He couldn’t help it. Tears began to flow as he locked his lips with Yi Chen’s. At first Yi Chen was startled and wanted to tell him what he found but Zi Han wouldn’t let him go.

He kept pressing up against him like he was holding on to his saving grace. Zi Han gripped the side of Yi Chen’s waist tightly as he pushed him against the wall. He pressed hard against Yi Chen’s body seeking comfort.

His lips were hot like he had a fever and against Yi Chen’s biting cold lips it gave him a refreshing feeling cooling down the heat from his body.

Zi Han groaned as he stuck his tongue into Yi Chen’s mouth. As though to cool his heated mind he began to expel some of his mental power as the tears constantly streamed down his face.

Yi Chen furrowed his brow as he felt the invasive force enter his body. He had never heard of such a strange phenomenon but he didn’t fight it. It was because as it seeped into his body it gave him a comfortable feeling taking his pain away.

Lured by this wonderful sensation he slowly sank into the feeling reciprocating Zi Han’s demanding kiss.

He raised his hand and placed it at the back of Zi Han’s head before flipping him over switching their positions. Zi Han felt the cold wall press against his back and he hummed contentedly.

He gripped Yi Chen’s waist even tighter with his lower half grinding up against Yi Chen’s. The heat in his body desperately sought out an outlet making him seem like an animal in heat.

Yi Chen could already feel his lower half was getting heated up thus he pulled away only for Zi Han to follow his lips reluctant to let go.

Yi Chen’s hand lowered and he gently rubbed Zi Han’s back breathing heavily. Yi Chen didn’t speak for a while. His eyes closed he inhaled that soothing citrus scent calming his chaotic nerves.

Zi Han licked his lips with his fingers running through Yi Chen’s hair. His hot breath brushed against Yi Chen’s skin as he pulled him closer.

He playfully tugged at Yi Chen’s collar while whispering, “I haven’t had enough yet.”

Yi Chen tilted his head slightly his cheeks tingling and pecked Zi Han’s cheek. He exhaled with a puff of air tickling Zi Han’s skin further enticing him.

“Doing it here would be inappropriate,” he whispered before clenching his jaw tightly from the slight pain in his abdomen. Zi Han was about to ask what was inappropriate about this when he noticed Yi Chen’s complexion wasn’t right.

His lustful expression from just now vanished as he looked down noticing the bloodstain on Yi Chen’s suit. “What the fuck happened?” asked Zi Han gently pushing him to sit down.

Yi Chen wanted to reassure him but Zi Han was quite fast with his hands. He unzipped Yi Chen’s uniform revealing a sensual scene that could have anyone’s heart beating in excitement. Unfortunately, such a sight couldn’t be enjoyed as there were gaping holes in Yi Chen’s abdomen.

His situation was a lot worse before but after Zi Han’s kiss, he seemed a bit better. Whatever poison in his body seemed to be neutralized slightly because his mental power was slowly coming back.

He had heard from his father that the royal bloodline was something special but he didn’t think healing was one of its specialties.

Now when he thought of it carefully considering what was written about the phoenix in ancient scripts it made sense that they would have healing properties. If it weren’t for him accidentally meeting Zi Han he might have been in a far worse situation. At this thought Yi Chen couldn’t help but shudder. Zi Han truly was his lucky star.
