119 A second indirect kiss

With a raised brow Zi Han watched on as these two messed around like high schoolers over the bar counter. He found it quite entertaining and intriguing. With these two around one wouldn’t get bored.

Yi Chen who had just had a long call with his father walked back his mood a little sullen. That’s because his father had instructed him to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.

His intel on the impending attack on Capital Star was much credible and they had deployed a lot of military personnel. Marshal Yi had even put in a request to the prime ministers to shut the city down but his request was denied making his job especially difficult.

They didn’t even allow him to at least inform the public so they can decide on their own whether it was safe to leave their homes today but again his request was rejected.

He could have ordered his men to lock down the city but without a reason, this would undoubtedly result in the public’s dissatisfaction giving the prime ministers another reason to try and take military power out of his hands.

Marshal Yi could only deploy his men so they can minimize the number of casualties when the attack happens. The only problem was that Capital Star was big and he did not have a precise location of where the attack would happen. He could only tell his son to be careful and look out for trouble.

Yi Chen found Zi Han quietly sitting there while watching Leila and Yi Feng fighting each other like tiny puppies. He had never seen them interact like this with each other. This to him was a new development.

Zi Han absent-mindedly grabbed the glass filled with creamy delight that could make a person drunk. He had already forgotten his vow to stay away from alcohol and was about to suck on the straw when Yi Chen took it away from him.

“You can’t drink it. It has alcohol in it,” said Yi Chen before taking a sip himself.

.....

“Well, thank you for that captain obvious..... wait I drank that,” exclaimed Zi Han trying to stop him but it was already too late. Yi Chen had just drunk directly from his straw.

Yi Feng who had been trying to free his wrists from Leila’s grip froze seeing this and his eyes almost popped out of their sockets. His cousin who wouldn’t even eat potato crisps from the same bag as him claiming it was dirty had just drunk from the same straw Zi Han had used with a content smile.

This was too difficult to comprehend. His cousin must have been possessed by something for him to do that. Or maybe it was because Yi Chen didn’t know that Zi Han had already drunk from it.

But even when he did find out Yi Chen let out a soft, “Oh,” as a fleeting look of disappointment flashed in his eyes. He felt sad because he couldn’t drink anymore now.

He might not be able to drink it anymore but he felt fluffy inside like he was lying on a soft bed of clouds. His ears felt hot. Today he had not only harvested a hug, and called him baby but he had also gotten two indirect kisses. This was turning out to be the best day ever.

Zi Han glanced at the don pedro slowly melting in the glass before glaring at Yi Chen with resentment. It tasted so good that he wanted more but now it couldn’t be drunk anymore.

Yi Chen saw this and suddenly had the urge to bully Zi Han. “Here, you can have it. I only took a sip that’s all,” with a serious look on his face like he truly believed that.

Zi Han, “...”

He had no time to deal with the crazy so he got up and said, “I am going to the bathroom,” before walking past him.

Yi Chen hurriedly put down the glass and caught up with Zi Han while greeting Leila in passing. As soon as the two figures disappeared Yi Feng leaned in close to Leila before asking, “Is it just me or Ah-Chen is acting weird?”

Even as he asked this question he was still staring in the direction those two had disappeared at. He was afraid that Yi Chen would return suddenly and overhear their conversation.

Leila grinned slyly at this fool who had no idea that his cousin had fallen heads over heels. He pulled Yi Feng closer and flicked his forehead while saying, “Don’t go digging up things you can’t handle.”

“Ah.....,” yelped Yi Feng as he stood up straight rubbing his forehead.

Meanwhile, Zi Han stood frozen in front of the bathroom door with the male sign outside. He wasn’t sure if they were people inside and if they were then forget exposing his identity as a man he might give someone a heart attack if he directly whips out a pogo stick underneath that skirt.

He glanced at Yi Chen and gestured with his hand for him to go in first. Yi Chen leisurely turned his body to look at him and asked, “What?” It’s not that he didn’t understand Zi Han’s meaning, it’s just that he wanted him to say it.

Zi Han who knew fairly well that he was getting played wasn’t in the mood to mess around. His bladder was about to explode so he pushed Yi Chen in while whispering, “Check if the coast is clear.”

Yi Chen bit his lower lip suppressing a smile as the door shut behind him. Two seconds later a slim young man walked out of the bathroom and he was startled when he saw a pretty girl standing outside the male bathroom like she was lost. Because she had her back to the bathroom door he could look as much as he wanted to without consequences.

His perverse glance trailed up the pretty girl’s legs to her skirt and slender waist. His eyes darkened as he took a step forward to approach her. But before he could even open his mouth to call out Miss, he suddenly felt a bone-chilling aura spread all over his back.

His blood ran cold as he turned around only to be met by Yi Chen’s fiery gaze that could vaporize one’s soul. “Piss off,” said Yi Chen in a harsh tone. The man didn’t want to offend this great buddha thus he ran off.
