95 Panicking like a dog before a storm

Zi Han lowered his head and continued messing with his light brain. Another chuckle escaped his throat as he mindlessly crossed his legs with the hem of his skirt riding up a few inches.

He bit his lower lip for a split second before typing out a response. After a few seconds, a ding sound came from his light brain and he chuckled again but this time he raised his head and looked at Hela. His actions seemed flirtatious but in truth, he was amused by the chibi drawing of himself in a yellow puffer jacket.

She had already drawn it for him but because they had an assignment due she hadn’t sent it out yet. Hela smiled back at him before looking down and typing something else.

Ding!

Another notification came in and this time Yi Chen couldn’t take it anymore. His sense of hearing seemed to have been heightened because Zi Han’s pleasant laugh was penetrating deep into his soul awakening the demon inside of him.

That ugly demon inside of him was tense as its finger scraped along the bottom of his stomach, green-eyed and hungry. He tried to tell himself it was nothing and that he didn’t care but when Zi Han turned his head and smiled in Hela’s direction he couldn’t bear it.

He wanted to ask, “What was funny?” but he restrained himself because he knew that no matter what the answer was he won’t like it.

GoddessOfDeath: Han Han if you smile at me like that you might have to take responsibility and marry me.

This was the message Hela sent to Zi Han. Zi Han sent her the gift card to a smoothie bar that he bought on Starnet and replied,

.....

HandsomeHan: No more smiles for you. Don’t regret it later.

After sending this response he opened his mother’s chat interface intending to send her the cute little chibi with a yellow puffer jacket when he saw his mother’s moments. It was a picture of her and grandpa at a restaurant by the beach drinking cocktails in the morning.

He was stuck in school yet they went to the beach without him. So he sent the cute drawing with a caption full of complaints.

HandsomeHan: [You went to the beach without me.jpg]

After sending that Zi Han no longer cared about his light brain. He wanted to go to the beach too but since he was a student he could only go to school while his family enjoyed a sunny day at the beach.

Yi Chen could sense his sudden change in mood and wanted to say a word or two to break the ice but before he could open his mouth the language lecturer walked in to begin class.

Zi Han’s playful attitude was immediately tucked away making it hard to believe he was the same person who was joking around just now. He was already in learning mode but he didn’t forget his mission.

He might have considered the task of annoying Yi Chen to death extremely challenging but he kept to his word by doing a myriad of things. Let’s take a look at some of the things he did, shall we?

In between classes or when the lecturer wasn’t looking Zi Han would sometimes deliberately bump his knee with Yi Chen’s and when Yi Chen looked at him he would wink at him. Sounds not so excessive, right?

Well, that is if you don’t factor in the fact that he deliberately raised the hem of his skirt a little, and when Yi Chen gave him a reprimanding look he would smile slyly while looking away.

After this happened a couple of times Zi Han who had no sense of awareness found his thighs had been covered by Yi Chen’s jacket. At that moment Yi Chen actually thought that was the end of it but ten minutes later when class ended Zi Han stood up and directly put on Yi Chen’s school jacket.

Because he had only been wearing a sweater before Yi Chen’s jacket fit well. It’s just that because Zi Han was shorter it covered part of his skirt. He honestly looked like a girl wearing her jock boyfriend’s varsity jacket.

Li Ran who was watching these two from afar dropped his jaw in shock and almost passed out. One time he forgot his jacket at home and asked Yi Chen for his spare one in the training room locker but he was ruthlessly rejected. His exact words were, “I don’t like sharing my things even with a good brother.”

Li Ran had to endure for two more hours before his mother personally drove to the school and pulled his ear while reprimanding him as it was part of the school rules to wear the full uniform at all times.

Now Yi Chen indifferently watched Zi Han wear his school jacket and didn’t say anything? This had Li Ran panicking like a dog before a storm.

After wearing Yi Chen’s jacket Zi Han sat down with a gleeful expression while asking, “What do you think?” with his chin resting on his hand.

Yi Chen just looked at him for a second then averted his gaze trying to conceal the slight ripple in his eyes. He almost couldn’t resist the urge to smile. Zi Han thought he was annoying him but in truth, he was enjoying this special treatment. It gave him the illusion that they were dating and gosh did that feel good.

Zi Han who had no idea he was giving the man exactly what he wanted tapped Yi Chen’s foot with the tip of his shoe but Yi Chen who was trying to hide something ignored him.

Being ignored Zi Han decided to up his game. He kept staring at Yi Chen’s handsome side profile. His intentions were clear. He wanted the man to break his resolve and turn to look at him but Yi Chen was more stubborn than he thought.

The man refused to turn around and look at him despite Zi Han making it so obvious. What he didn’t realize was that half of Yi Chen’s face was numb from his stare. Only the heavens know how badly he wanted to turn his head.

Zi Han who had been staring for so long suddenly lost himself in the moment. He suddenly had thoughts like this guy is really handsome and who is more handsome between the two of them.

He also noticed that Yi Chen had a tiny black mole just below his earlobe. Curious he stretched out his hand to poke it but before he could touch it his wrist was grasped and Yi Chen finally looked at him.
