“You brought such a monstrous creature into the central palace?”

“She appeared to have gone insane; she must be a crazy woman, sir.”

He despises young women and cats; now I know more about this jerk. I smiled as I watched Cat approach slowly, one step then two.

Play around with it.

Cats are said to play with their prey until they die before eating them, which is true.

“This will not do. Her Highness, the Princess, should be aware that a girl like this is roaming around at will; this is why women should not get involved in politics! Neurosis, paranoia, and all sorts of excuses!”

Charles is using me as an excuse to express his dissatisfaction with women.

I’ve seen this type of person before, so I’m very familiar with it. Perhaps Charles is the result of a mixture of the worst and the worst?

The polar opposite of the polite, kind, friendly, sweet and handsome man I know. I sighed and then lifted my finger.

“And these things don’t even try to have children these days-! Agh! ”

Cat attacked him before he could finish his last sentence. Cat slams its paws into the back of his head, and as soon as the prey falls, it presses its shoulder firmly to the ground. In a blink of an eye, a scream erupted from the mouth that had been spewing nonsense words.

“Aaaaah! Monster! Mo-Monster!”

-A monster?

Oh, it hurt its feeling!

Cat growled lowly, as if in a bad mood, and showed its teeth towards Count Charles’ nape. Amber eyes flashed red, and a wild beast’s cry shook the air. The Count shrank his neck and trembled, unable to open his eyes.

“Hey, what is t-this?”

“A-A witch!”

A piercing scream erupted.

When they don’t know what else to say, they always call women witches.

I drew my thumb at my neck as if slitting it, and it was amusing to see them close their mouths so quickly.

-These smell awful, and I don’t want to eat them.

Cat wrinkled his nose and expressed his displeasure. Count Charles screamed to death when he heard Cat’s voice, possibly realising it meant murder rather than intimidation.

“Ahhhh, ahhhh!”

-It’s too loud. Can I crush his jaw?

Cat pressed his massive, thick front paws into Charles’ mouth. When they’re playing, they hide their claws, but when they get angry, their claws come out.

The count’s eyes bulged out, making him difficult to look at.

‘He must taste like sesame salt,’

Well, I hope so, but I shook my head.

“Psst, you can’t. Come on, Cat.”

-Do not address me as Cat.

This was purposely done. It becomes enraged when you call it “cat.”

“S-Save me! I’m going to die! Aww!! ”

Count Charles struggled louder than usual and screamed as if his throat was about to burst.

Cat didn’t do anything, so why are you reacting this way? Okay, he pretended to bite, but it’s all in good fun; I’m just messing with him.

What? I can’t make such a joke now?

I squatted next to Count Charles, resting my chin on my palm. I then flicked Count Charles’ forehead.

“Count Bauce. You should learn to be more careful with your words.”

“Kugh, eugh…!

“If you don’t, you’ll never know when or how you’ll die.”

He must be upset, but he is too afraid of Cat to do anything. I’m sure he doesn’t want to be attacked by a black tiger in the imperial palace twice.

“Understand? I’m sure you got what I was saying.”

“Eug, hug!”

Shwaaaa

A muffled noise was heard somewhere at that time. It sounded like a waterfall erupting from between Count Charles’ crotch.

I quickly stood up and grabbed my nose.

It was then.

“Who the hell is making pig noises in the central palace corridors?”

The door at the end of the hallway opened wide. The princess then appeared, her voice elegant yet powerful.

“What exactly is going on?”

The princess wore an all-white outfit today. Only the collar of the jacket is woven with gold thread, and despite the lack of any special patterns, it feels very luxurious.

The woman, with her long black hair, came out and checked the situation outside, breaking her annoyed expression as soon as she saw me.

“Hello, Lady Titania.”

“It is a privilege to see Her Highness, the Princess.”

Literary and martial arts officers followed one after the other to fill the hallway behind the woman standing tall with her waist straightened. They did not appear to dare to remain seated after the princess stood up.

That cannot be done with insignificant authority, so this demonstrates the princess’s immense power.

‘Kya, how come the princess doesn’t have a fan club when she’s so cool?’

Not only did the young people stood up, but so did the ho-ho grandfather* with his cane.

*(White-haired/Really old grandfather.)

The princess opened her mouth to me with her arrogant face as if everything was normal.

“Have you taken up the hobby of training animals that don’t understand what you’re saying?”

“No way. It was simply inquiring as to who was insulting the princess and all the other women in the world.”

“It appears you did a good job training him. Is it the lady’s property? ”

“Yes, I’m actually here today to introduce  this child to the princess, which I’m sure you’ll like.”

I lovingly petted Cat, who was pressing on Count Charles’ throat; Count Charles, who was at his feet, had already frothed on his mouth and his eyes were turned over, but no one seemed to mind.

The princess approached with curiosity and observed Cat.

“So you’re not trying to give it to me, but simply planning on introducing it?”

“If you like it, I can get you another one.”

I grinned and scratched the cat beneath the chin. The cat then groaned reflexively before stopping himself.

He didn’t seem to want to do that in front of so many people, and now he looked annoyed, rolling his eyes sideways before staring at me.

Still, he couldn’t be angry with me. However, he ended up focusing his strength on his front paw instead, and someone below groaned.

“For the time being, let Count Bauce go.” You’ll have to pay a lot of taxes as compensation if he dies.”

“Is that so? I can’t afford to spend a lot of money on someone like that.”
