It was hard to see in the mirror, so he turned to take water in the bathtub. The hot water filled up quickly. This is the advantage of arranged marriage with a chaebol. You can fully enjoy the best facilities and goods without any interruption.

As Jun-Kyung supported his body in the hot bath, his muscles relaxed, and at the same time, all the fears that had been tightly packed were released.

After doing it with Executive Director Min, he realized that it wasn’t a big deal. This was definitely one of the most shocking events of his life, but when he actually did it, it wasn’t so painful, disgusting, and terrifying…

“Is it because I didn’t do it until the end?”

He doesn’t know if this is a one-time thing and if that’s how things are normally going to be and the same goes for Executive Director Min. He has no choice but to surrender himself to the flow. Even if it’s like this, it’s okay with him.

‘I can do it one more time.’

He thought so. Even though no one was watching, he pushed himself further into the hot water. The bathtub is as big as the owner of the house, so even if he slightly folded his knees, he was completely submerged just below his ears. The burning face was covered by the hot water.

The fever was so high that he felt like fainting. After waiting for the body to warm up properly, he finished with a lukewarm shower.

While he was washing his body and quickly looking for clothes to put on, his phone rang. It was Executive Director Min. His ears become hotter. He was worried that it might spontaneously ignite after frequent fevers.

What other things should he say? He pressed the receive button in anticipation.

“Hello.”

ㅡWhy aren’t you answering the phone?

An argument came out of nowhere. It was completely different from what he expected, and the tone was sharper than usual. It stung his stomach for no reason and feels like being stabbed by a thin needle.

“I was taking a bath.”

ㅡI was worried because you didn’t answer the phone.

“Did you call a lot? I just checked my phone now.”

ㅡI called about 10 times.

He was angry because Jun-Kyung didn’t answer the phone. When he found out the reason, the tingling needle quickly disappeared.

―I was gonna send someone if you didn’t pick up again.

“haha.”

Jun-Kyung had just finished taking a hot bath, but he got goosebumps at the thought of sending someone. No, what kind of embarrassment would he face if he was still sleeping? Is he telling me to die of shame? Jun-Kyung decided to buy disaster insurance just in case since Director Min seems to be speaking sincerely without bluff.

“Wouldn’t it be better for Hyun-Seung to come directly rather than sending someone else?”

A fierce energy that he had felt the other day emanated through the small receiver of his cell phone. Could it be that the phone is broken?

ㅡAre you doing this on purpose?

“Yes? What?”

It was easier to talk about this than before. Jun-Kyung wondered if a person can change like this. Anyway, it’s better than being uncomfortable. He wanted to know why this time.

ㅡI had a lot of work to do today, so I called because I thought I would be late.

“Yes.”

ㅡSee you later.

“You mean you will be late?”

If it’s late, he’ll have to take care of his own dinner. Can he eat delivery food after a long time? Or should he go through the refrigerator and make something to eat? Jun-Kyung asked with the intention of getting permission to deliver as much as possible, but Executive Director Min overturned his expectations again.

ㅡI will leave work on time. Don’t go anywhere, wait at home.

“Ah? Oh, yes.”

Jun-Kyung had no where to go anyway. But he said he has work to do. Can he leave early? Jun-Kyung is not involved in the company anyway.

He hung up the phone, dried his hair roughly, and went down to the kitchen. He still has about 4 hours before leaving work. He pushed back the temptation for delivery and opened the refrigerator to get something to eat. In the prominent compartment was an airtight bowl with a yellow sticky note.

[This is egg porridge. Eat it warm. – Hyunseung]

He’s so attentive. He is also the perfect man in this area. Jun-Kyung was happy and microwaved the porridge.

He was bored, so he ate porridge on the sofa while watching TV. After emptying it neatly, he lay flat on his back without removing the empty bowl, and cast his lazy eyes on the rerun of the movie he had watched many times.

His body is hot, and his stomach is full. Nothing will stop him from enjoying the comfort of the sofa. His eyes were shut in a blink of an eye. That was the end of his memory.

There was a sudden chill.

The familiar scent of cologne tickled the tip of his nose as the leather sofa shrieked delicately.

A familiar scent.

The owner of the fragrance is the owner of the house where Jun-kyung is currently resting, and at the same time, Jun-Kyung’s fiance.

“Ugh!”

He opened his eyes. Sure enough, a large man obscured Jun-Kyung’s view. Wearing a vest without a jacket, he folded one leg and placed it on the inside of the sofa, and his arms were resting on the outside of Jun-Kyung’s  head. The shadows created by the huge body covered the view like a blanket. Is it a dream or real? Jun-Kyung rubbed his eyes.

“When did you return?”

His throat was hoarse. How long has he slept? His gaze naturally turned to the clock on the corner of the large TV. There was almost an hour left until the usual time for work. To calculate the distance from work to home, Executive Director Min only spent more than half of his afternoon at work. Why did he come so quickly?

“Are you sleeping leisurely after calling a busy person?”

“……me?” Has he called before? Jun-Kyung was dumbfounded.

“Jun-Kyung Ho, you’re clever than you look.”

Clever? Usually, external reviews about Jun-Kyung were ‘reliable’, ‘sincere’, and ‘sensible’, and if they looked at him positively, ‘handsome’ would follow. Clever was a concept far from how he is.

He had no idea what the other person was trying to do. Executive Director Min was difficult to grasp as he was. Just as you feel like you know him, you get confused again. There are other people in this world who are this difficult.

The reason why his continuous thoughts were cut off was due to none other than the Executive Director Min himself. Precisely, because his big hand starts groping around Jun-Kyung’s abdomen and waist at some point.

After taking a bath, he didn’t have any plans to go anywhere, so Jun-Kyung was wearing a comfortable T-shirt and cotton pants. He’s not a fool in the house who wears his shirt tucked into his pants. Thanks to this, the intrusion into the hem of the shirt was late to notice.

“Mr. Hyun-Seung?”

Instead of a clear answer, Executive Director Min only raised his eyes. His eyes were already fierce, but when he looked at him in that way, Jun-Kyung felt faint goosebumps and was a bit stimulated.

“It’s still daytime.”

“So?”

Jun-Kyung was at a loss for words.

“Are you sick anywhere?”

Not really. Just in case, he lowered his eyes and checked the limbs again, but there were no particularly uncomfortable areas except for a little drowsiness. It was thanks to proper stretching and a warm bath.

However, that does not mean that the fatigue is completely relieved. Taking a day off after playing a game is the standard for managing stamina. Of course, this isn’t a match, but still, it is two days in a row.

Here it comes.

The second game, which started as soon as it was confirmed that everything was fine, continued until the sun went down and darkness fell everywhere. He didn’t even go to the bedroom this time. The chaebol, who doesn’t care that the luxury sofa, which costs about a billion dollars, gets dirty, pushes Jun-Kyung to a dead end. Occasionally, a hand stroking the stomach raised even a slight fear.

“The doctor….”

“I know.”

The other person’s voice, sweating heavily, was filled with only a deep reverberation like a broken woofer. It was like a wave spreading through the water. It was thick and soft, but with an overwhelming force that could never be resisted. Jun-kyung just shook like a plant without a skeleton.

He didn’t go all the way this time either. Even so, the movement itself was much more intense than yesterday, and the aftermath was strong. The intense activities that followed for two days brought a lot of fatigue. It drooped like seaweed washed up on the beach.

“Are you okay?”

“I am okay.”

His voice cracked as if his throat had gone. In fact, using the vocal cords itself was embarrassing, because the tone was not particularly smooth. Executive Director Min, who is very sensitive to people, is not that picky towards Jun-Kyung. After the business was finished, the Executive Director got up and disappeared to the second floor. Perhaps because it was the living room, Jun-Kyung’s sweaty body cooled quickly.

‘No matter how cold it is, I should pick up the clothes on the floor.’

He forced his body to stand up as he endured the stiff muscle pain. The t-shirt was far away, and the pants were nowhere to be seen. Damn it. He tried to pick up what he could see, but his body wouldn’t listen. He fell halfway off the sofa.

Thud.

The sofa itself was quite high, and the sound rang out because he completely lost his balance and hit hard.

“Shit.”

He grabbed his knee on the marble floor while spitting out swear words like a sailor.

Executive Director Min rushed up from the second floor with the first loud footsteps Jun-Kyung had heard since coming to this house. He was in such a hurry that he came with his bathrobe in hand and grasped the situation without saying a word. The wrinkles between the tightly bitten molars and the eyebrows expressed anger and irritation.

“Haha, the sofa is a little high.”

“Shut up.”

Any Attempts to cover it up with an awkward laugh was shattered by a dreadful warning. Still, Jun-Kyung didn’t know what to say. He didn’t do much wrong. No, he didn’t do anything to be sorry at all. The marble is intact.

Why does he feel embarrassed that he was surprised by the loud voice? If you look closely at the cause and effect, the person who should be sorry  was Executive Director Min, who suddenly appeared and stripped Jun-Kyung’s clothes. However, the expression on the opponent’s face was too harsh for Jun-Kyung to argue, even in the most timid way.
