Chapter 119 [Wind Manipulation-Razor Windstorm]

“City leader, I have a plan to kill it; however, for that, I need you to use your full-powered attack on its neck.”

As soon as Leo came up with a new plan to kill the Wyvern King, he asked the city leader.

“But, after that, I can’t fight for another five minutes.”

The city leader frowned when he heard Leo’s words.

Even though he was working with the talent-swallowing hero, it doesn’t mean he would blindly follow whatever that hero asked him to do.

Moreover, he knew that the Talent Swallowing Hero could really swallow the other heroes’ talents, and he always had a thing for special talents.

Therefore, the city leader feared that the Talent Swallowing Hero was targeting him for his special talent.

For this reason, the secret organizations and the other city leaders were searching for him to learn more about his ability.

However, whenever the talent-swallowing hero sensed any danger or even captured someone, he would escape somehow.

“As you must have noticed, the Wyvern King is always avoiding our attacks when we aim at its neck. As long as you can use your special talent to slightly open a cut on its neck, I will take care of it.”

Leo had already expected the city leader to reject his plan; however, he didn’t give up and continued to persuade him,

“With my strength, I can’t make an injury on it because of its tough scales. As long as you rest for five minutes, you can recover your energy. Also, you don’t have to give me any reward for helping you, all I need is the corpse of this Slayer Wyvern King.”-.

Leo tried explaining to the city leader in different ways while they fought the Wyvern King.

However, they were unable to make any injuries to it.

Even though Theodore could make an injury on it if he used his full-powered attack, it would make him temporarily weak for one or two minutes.

However, he feared he might be killed for his special talent by the Talent Swallowing Hero within that one or two minutes.

Even if the Talent Swallowing Hero did not kill him, he was worried about the family heads or even Mr. White might kill him to become the next city leader of Phirie city.

Theodore was frustrated that even when they were combined, they could not make any injuries to the Wyvern King.

So, he decided to go with Leo’s plan and asked, “What are your chances of killing it if I injure it with my full powered talent?”

“100 percent.”

Leo replied in a confident tone and added, “Once we kill this supreme-ranked mutated beast, killing the final supreme-ranked monster will not be a problem and this invasion will come to an end soon after.”

Even though Theodore was not worried much about the lives of the city residents, he wanted the invasion to end as soon as possible because if the city walls were damaged, he needed to spend a lot of money and resources to repair them.

“Are you sure about the percentage?”

The city leader frowned when he heard Leo’s words and asked.

“You will see soon. Just use your full powered attack usig your talent.”

Leo maintained his emotionless voice and replied to the city leader.

“I hope you are not wrong.”

As soon as he finished his words, the city leader floated in the mid-air and a small wind tornado formed beneath his feet.

Soon, Theodore made some hand signs and pointed at the Wyvern King flying in front of him.

‘Swoosh’

In the next second, the small tornado beneath his feet moved towards the Wyvern King, and along the way, the tornado started growing in size and reached 10 meters in height in no time.

It didn’t stop there, and its size continued to grow.

If one observed closely, they could notice sharp wind blades inside that growing windstorm trying to swallow the Wyvern King into it.

‘Roar’

The Wyvern King roared at the windstorm that was trying to swallow it and tried to move away from it; however, it was too late for the mutated beast as the windstorm had already swallowed it.

Soon, various loud sounds came from the windstorm, most of which were metallic sounds which were obviously the wind razors clinking with the dragon scales on the Wyvern King’s body.

‘As expected of city leader. His talent [Wind Manipulation] is so powerful.’

‘No wonder, he became the city leader of Phirie city.’

‘I want to become as powerful as him.’

‘The rank 9 and rank 8 mutated beasts are getting instantly killed after being swallowed into the windstorm. Only the Wyvern King was still alive inside the windstorm.’

Looking at the huge windstorm that swallowed the Wyvern King, all the young heroes from Phirie city could not help but awe at Theodore’s powerful attack.

However, from the roars, everyone could tell that the windstorm could not kill the Wyvern King.

“Everyone, focus on your fight. The city leader and Mr. White will take care of the supreme-ranked beings. As for us, let’s kill these rank 7 to rank 9 monsters and mutated beasts.”

The rank 9 city guards shouted at the young heroes, distracted by the city leader’s powerful move.

“Yes, sirs.”

The young heroes shook their heads and focused on their fights.
