CHAPTER 16 - Are there natives on the island?

After Liu Yong heard what I said, he was silent for a moment, then looked at the short-handled ax in my hand. Then, he nodded with an expression of unwillingness.

"You've agreed?" I asked.

"You don't have the guts, Xiao Chen. I understand you."

"Is that so? "If you don't believe me, you can try."

"Liu Yong! Just tell him what he wants to ask! " The person behind Liu Yong who had just had his thigh smashed by a stone from me shouted out at this moment, and his voice was filled with fear.

I found the two largest boxes and filled half of them.

"You don't have to worry about that." I lifted the suitcases easily into the air.

This half of the supplies added up to at least a hundred kilograms, but I didn't feel much effort lifting them up, much like carrying half a bucket of water.

I quickly tossed the two suitcases up to the surface and then quickly climbed out.

I gave a set of uniforms to Xia Ran for her to change into, but Xia Ran didn't immediately wear it after receiving it, instead, she stared at the uniforms for awhile. After a while, she raised her head and said: "These uniforms seems to belong to a tourist group, right?"

"Is that so? How do you know? " I asked hurriedly. I had wanted to find some clues about the uniforms, to see if I could figure out who they were, but they didn't have any logo on them.

"This is the uniform of the Songjiang City's Sunlight Agency." Xia Ran said: "Last year, I participated in a tour group of this travel agency. Believe me, my memory won't be wrong."

"Yes." I nodded. I thought back to the group of people on the beach at that time, men and women, ranging in age from twenty to forty, indeed like a temporary scatter. There were no older or younger people, surely because those people had not made it to the shore alive.

When Chen Mengyu said that it was possible that the other survivors were fighting over the materials, I nodded my head and said that it was indeed possible.

But right after, Xia Ran made another bold and terrifying hypothesis, she said that there might be people living on this island, and it might be the aboriginals who attacked them.

The reason is very simple, it's because the cave that Liu Yong and the rest were hiding in was obviously dug out by someone.
