Chapter 249 Dimension

Name:Spirit Soul Author:HideousGrain
Semi-translucent energy waves revolved around a head-sized sphere.

Its color was milky white, with the colors of the rainbow sweeping through.

The colors looked like wisps that were circulating through the sphere in a chaotic manner.

However, when the Queen cut open her hand so that a single droplet of blood could trickle onto the sphere the chaotic wisps attempted to break out of the sphere to reach the drop of blood.

Less than a second passed before the Queen inserted her Mana and Primordial energy in the Sphere which lead to a unique reaction.

The seven wisps merged with the milky color of the Sphere. Through this, the Sphere turned into a replication of an imprisoned rainbow.

Only seconds had to pass before a bright shining rainbow emerged from the Sphere.

A beautiful arch was created, spanning over ten meters before the rainbow reached its end already.

Afterward, nothing happened for several seconds, just for the space the rainbow surrounded to crack open.

Faint white lines spread through the space. The lines deepened, turning into thick cracks that enlarged further, spanning through the entire space in the encirclement of the rainbow.

The white cracks turned purplish-blue before they deepened when the space crumbled completely.

Kyle's eyes were fixated on the entire process, and he couldn't help but feel a little bit astonished.

His sight of the hues allowed him to understand so much more about the occurrence right in front of them than anyone else.

The number of hues that manifested in front of him was uncountable, and the vast majority of them were something Kyle had never seen before.

However, even then, it was possible for him to know a handful of them, while another handful was something he was uncertain about.

Slowly with time passing, a half-circle purplish-blue portal manifested in front of all the participants that would enter the Ancestor's treasury.

"That's quite the unique way to open up a dimension…" Kyle mumbled, recalling that only the Queen was able to use the Dimension Sphere upon the Ancestor's treasury.

It was quite intriguing, to put it simply, and when he averted his gaze to the Queen for a moment she looked satisfied with everyone's reaction.

The corners of her lips curled upward only for her to lift her arms in a ceremony manner as she said seemingly nonchalant,

"It's done, you guys can go! Nobody shall die, and everyone will return with numerous treasures! I only want to see happiness, understood?"

Kyle was not the only one who frowned when hearing the Queen's words.

But there were some Lohars, who seemed to be acquainted with this behavior of the Queen.

As such, they simply nodded their head before stepping into the dimension portal.

It had finally been stabilized, which gave everyone the opportunity to enter it without any trouble.

Slowly, the number of Cultivators that entered the dimension increased, only for a few to be left alone.

Amongst them were Kyle, Yasmine, and Selene.

The two women were waiting for Kyle, whose entire attention was on the portal.

They knew that he was inspecting the portal according to the hues he was able to see.

From traveling around with him by their side, it was only obvious that they figured out that his curiosity was sometimes unbending.

This even leads to the extent that Kyle occasionally forgot where he was and what he was doing.

Taking that into consideration, both Yasmine and Selene tipped on his shoulder for quite a while before they sighed deeply.

Lightly pushing him toward the portal, Kyle only regained his senses when he stood right in front of the portal.

A moment later he was already pushed through it, which allowed him to perceive how they were teleported into an entirely new dimension.

Unfortunately, this was rather boring as it felt simply as if they stepped through a door to enter a new room.

The surroundings smelled just like old books, and by looking around, Kyle quickly understood where they had landed.

Turning around for a moment, Kyle made sure that the portal was still there. Seeing the purplish-blue portal, he sighed in relief.

'So we will be able to come back through the same way? Alright, that's great, I guess.'

Shrugging his shoulder a moment later, he turned back to the rows of shelves and books that were rowed up neatly in the room.

They had evidently been teleported to a library.

This was quite interesting and lead him to pick one of the books he saw before he opened it.

[Rise of the Fallen Diarka]

The title of the book was certainly not something that interested Kyle in the given situation.

However, instead of focusing on the title, his curiosity was more about the date when the books as written.

It should be written down somewhere.

Yet, when he saw the calendar year, he was not really sure what to think.

"Before the merged Universe came into existence?" Kyle wondered, not sure if that was even possible.

Thinking about it, multiple Universes had forcefully merged together.

The old Universe died to give birth to Shima, while the other universes should be unscathed.

Understanding this, Kyle wondered how many years it had been since Shima's birth.

'It hasn't been 200,000 years yet, right?'

In the end, Kyle had no idea about the correct answer and he was just guessing with the facts he knew. That was why he ended up putting back the book.

There was a unique mark on some books that prevented them from being stored in spatial rings.

And from the way the hues looked, it was also not possible to take them outside the Ancestor's treasury.

If one were to take them outside, they would decay and turn into dust.

Tilting his head, he kept using his sight of the hues to inspect the entire building they were inside.

If he was not wrong, they should be inside a pagoda or a building that was slimming down the higher floor they were on.

But instead of minding the structure of the building they were inside, Kyle's focus was put on the direction in which the others were going.

He wanted to see what their plan was.

Keeping up with his observation for more than ten minutes, he finished only to see that Yasmine and Selene were reading some books.

They didn't seem particularly interested in the books they were reading, but that was not the reason for them to have started reading, to begin with.

"You're done? Great! Did you find out where you want to go?"

Both Selene and Yasmine closed their books nearly at the same time.

They smiled at him in the hope that he would provide them with the perfect plan on where they should go, and what to do.

This led Kyle to smile oddly before he nodded his head after a moment.

"Let's go upstairs, to the top of the Pagoda!"

Only a handful of Cultivators choose to go upstairs, and most of them had already returned with fast strides not long after.

They felt as if they were wasting time finding a way upward, only to encounter that they wanted to reach was locked down.

With that in mind, they couldn't help but dash towards the first floor in the hope to leave as quickly as possible, to charge up to the others.

However, Kyle didn't care about rushing anything.

Instead, he wanted to go up where nobody was supposed to reach without solving the necessary tests!

And that was exactly what Kyle would do in no time. After all, he could see everything he needed to know!
