Plotting And Revenge (2)

In Class 1’s classroom, Qin Yuan finished his homework and picked up a set of competition essentials questions, immersing himself in getting the problems done.

When he raised his head incidentally, he saw Fu Songhua lower his head and silently look at his phone, his brows tightly knitting.

Qin Yuan softly called him, “Fu Songhua.”

Fu Songhua looked back blankly. “Mm. Boss, did you just call me?

Qin Yuan gazed at him. “Have you finished your homework?”

Fu Songhua was stunned before saying, “I’ve finished it all, ah.”

Qin Yuan reached out and took a pile of exam papers on his desk, hastily flipping through them and lifting one sheet. “Really? All done?”

Fu Songhua blankly looked down at the papers and suddenly cried out. “Ah, I left one out by mistake!”

He was about to take it back in a flurry, but Qin Yuan withdrew the papers from him. “Fu Songhua, are you sure you’ve really been okay recently?”

Fu Songhua’s parents were both highly educated and have been extremely attentive to his education since he was a child. Fu Songhua was not only good at sports, but his grades were also basically hovering in the top ten of his grade.

He could be considered worthy of an all-rounder in morality, intelligence, and body.

He was tall and handsome with an imposing and loyal temperament. He was well-liked among his Class 1’s classmates and was also one of the favorite school grass among the girls in the school.

Moreover, although he liked to play ball and have fun, he would be at the top of his game when it came to studying.

It was almost the midterm exam. If this were in the past, he would definitely be serious during the night self-study. When did he ever forget to do a question on his homework like this before?

Qin Yuan didn’t like to meddle with other people’s business. He also didn’t like to observe others too much. But even so, Fu Songhua’s behavior in the past few days was just too much to ignore.

Fu Songhua looked at him blankly and suddenly felt distraught with anxiety, whispering, “I’m okay.”

Qin Yuan calmly looked at him for a moment.

“No matter what caused you to be distracted, I only want to remind you of one thing.” He softly said, “Don’t delay your studies and don’t let yourself get sidetracted by anything.”

Fu Songhua lowered his head and was silent. After a long time, he finally raised his head with a sadness that was hard to conceal in his dark eyes. He looked at Qin Yuan and softly asked, “Class monitor, am I actually… a super bad person?”

Qin Yuan shook his head, his expression calm. “No. You’re a very good person.”

Fu Songhua didn’t feel any better and he shook his head dejectedly. “Class monitor, you’re lying to me. I always think of myself as a great and charming person, but actually annoying, right?”

Qin Yuan sighed and had a vague understanding in his heart.

He returned the exam papers to Fu Songhua and didn’t comfort him anymore. “In short, you must be clear on one thing. What will you use to save other people if you’re in a complete mess yourself?”

Several classes away, Ruan Qingmu was staring blankly with a gloomy expression when several knocking sounds suddenly came from the classroom door.

His eyes widened as he looked up.

Qin Yuan carried his school bag and stood like a crane at Class 9’s doorway, wearing a neat and proper uniform. He raised his pair of beautiful phoenix eyes and looked in their direction.

His gaze was still sharp as usual but also a little deep this time.

“Still not returning to the dorm? The school building’s light will go out soon.”

***

On campus, there weren’t many people left on the path leading to the dormitory building. Bai Jing and the others ran faster than rabbits and were already gone.

When the two bosses were together, the world could be said to be cold with tacit understanding. Anyway, they wouldn’t be able to blend in and also didn’t want to join in either.

Qin Yuan and Ruan Qingmu walked side by side, walking very slowly.

The winding path would usually only take five or six minutes to arrive. But if they walked in slow steps like this, it felt like not even ten minutes were enough.

“Where will you sleep at night?” Qin Yuan softly asked.

It was still fine before he mentioned this. As soon as he said it, Ruan Qingmu became discouraged. “I still need to go upstairs, ah. I went to find Old Jian at noon. He firmly didn’t agree to let me move back to room 106.”

Fang Li had already moved out of his previous rotten dorm and temporarily lived in Ruan Qingmu’s dorm with Bai Jing and the others.

Ruan Qingmu had racked his brains and pestered Old Jian for half a day, wanting to move back to the previous 106. However, Old Jian stopped him with one short paragraph. “It’s fine if you aren’t willing to live with Li Zhiyong and the others. Then, move to Huang Ya and the other’s dorm. You’re a class officer and need to merge with your classmates so that all of you will get along well.”

Qin Yuan silently listened to him and suddenly said, “I will bring the crutches here tomorrow.”

Ruan Qingmu stopped his steps and stuttered in shock. “What… what are you going to do?”

Qin Yuan’s voice was slightly sad. “I can pretend to be disabled for a few days. Let’s say it’s inconvenient for my leg and I need someone to take care of me. You can mention it again to Old Jian?”

Ruan Qingmu laughed bitterly. “Enough. You’re entirely okay today but suddenly become crippled tomorrow. Do you think the teacher is stupid?”

He shook his head. “Moreover, you can’t even get a sick leave from Dr. Gong and still want to lie to people?”

Talking about Dr. Gong, they suddenly became discouraged.

That school doctor was sharp-tongued and mean, but wasn’t he too responsible?
