It’s That Person (3)

Liu Jun became anxious and nervously shouted, “Teacher, we suspected that he was the one stealing things last time, so we pried open his lock.”

Li Zhiyong eagerly grabbed the lace stockings on the ground and the trampled soiled woman’s skirt. “Look! These are the things lost by the girls. These are stolen properties!”

Qin Yuan indifferently glanced at him, gaze sharp and disgusted.

He reached out and opened his phone. “Teacher, these are the two girls being robbed last time. We contacted them just now and this was their reply.”

The audio was turned on and an honors class’ girl’s voice was clearly heard. “No, no. I’ve seen the post. These aren’t my things in there. It must be someone else’s.”

Another girl’s voice also said, “It’s also not mine. I’ve never seen these skirts and stockings before in my life. Why? Are these clues for the case?”

Everyone in the room listened in shock. Their expressions were bewildered and at a loss.

Ruan Qingmu leaned against a desk and suddenly let out a soft laugh. He looked at Qin Yuan with shining eyes.

That teacher was also stunned for a while. “That’s right. The lost things aren’t here. Those two phones that were lost at that time aren’t here either.”

Qin Yuan’s expression turned grave. “So, it’s true, someone did steal a phone.”

He raised his chin and stared at Li Zhiyong on the opposite side holding a phone. “They not only didn’t pry into the other’s cabinets but also stole Student Fang Li’s phone. Now that the culprit is caught with the stolen goods, they can’t make excuses.”

Fu Songhua’s eyes widened and he interjected ecstatically. “That’s right. We can testify against them! Just now, the whole Class 9 went to have a group meal. These few people didn’t go. It turns out they sneakily did these things while our backs were turned!”

He glared at Liu Jun and the others fiercely. “Fang Li realized something was wrong and hurried back to ask for his things. These people flew into a rage out of humiliation and even hit him!”

The two neighboring class boys were stunned and nervously waved their hands. “No, no. We were only passing by, looking at the scene as we tried to intervene in the fight!”

Ruan Qingmu squinted and sighed. “Teacher, I can also testify. They bullied Student Fang Li. When I ran here, I saw them hitting him as I came in.”

Li Zhiyong was anxious. “Hey, you can’t frame others, okay? We only took his phone to take a look. We weren’t stealing.”

Ruan Qingmu sneered. “Taking something without asking is called stealing. Didn’t your parents tell you this?”

The teacher on duty frowned as he looked at Liu Jun’s bleeding head, glaring at Ruan Qingmu. “Even though they stole things and bullied others, you can’t hit people like that too!”

Liu Jun was anxious. What happened? Were they convicted just like that?

“Teacher, look at these carefully. All these things inside his bag belonged to girls. What if he is a pervert? He must’ve stolen and hidden them away!”

Li Zhiyong hurriedly nodded. “That’s right. They’re all shameful things. Looking at the pictures. So disgusting…”

Qin Yuan suddenly raised his head and shot an arrow-like gaze at them. “Those are Student Fang Li’s private belongings. He didn’t steal and didn’t bother anyone!”

His tone, which had been calm, suddenly turned aggressive. “Whether he helped his family’s sisters buy it, wanted to gift it to a girlfriend, or even liked it himself, that’s his choice. If you pried open his lock because there was a little baseless suspicion, or if you wanted to humiliate and bully him because his preferences are different from others, what would our school be regarded as?”

He stood there, not standing as straight as usual for the first time because of the pain in his ankle, but his handsome features were chilly and full of disgust. “Will it be deemed a bullying hotbed or a violence paradise?”

Ruan Qingmu quietly stood, a brilliance flashing in his bright pupils as if full of appreciation, and turned to look at that familiar face.

He wasn’t mistaken. It was that same person.

He didn’t have the sharp sword in his hand that he had in his previous life so he couldn’t cut down evil with a single stroke of his sword. But with just a few words as sharp as a sword, he could make these villains scared witless for a lifetime.

He was as handsome as when he had killed people with his sword in his previous life.

The small dormitory was filled with people and the corridor outside was filled with more and more boys watching the scene.

Just now, some boys were laughing with curious and odd expressions, but now, Qin Yuan’s clear and cold voice crushed the surroundings into an expectant silence.

Suddenly, Fang Li, whose face was pale and lip smeared with lipstick, lowered his head and slowly burst into tears.

In the quiet, crowded space, his desperate sobs that had been suppressed for so long grew louder and louder.

Fu Songhua was bewildered and hurriedly entered the bathroom, looking for a paper towel. He silently reached out, wanting to help him wipe the dirt on his face, but Fang Li suddenly stepped back.

He lowered his head. His clean face was a wretched mix of lipstick and tears and his eyes were so very red and swollen. The bruise on his forehead was also clearly visible. Instead of smiling sheepishly at Fu Songhua as he usually did, he dodged away in stunned silence.

Qin Yuan calmly looked at them before turning around, solemnly bowing at the teacher on duty. “Teacher, the headmaster personally read the school motto of Experimental No. 3 when we entered our junior year. I listened to it at that time and felt that it was a very proud and reasonable motto for our school to go by.”

“The headmaster said, ‘It’s my hope that we could bear in mind these things: kindness, courage, friendship, diligence, and objective. There is vast righteousness and no end to virtue in these words.’”

“So, as the vice president of the school’s disciplinary department, I will definitely report this matter and strive to give a proper explanation to the victim. If the class teacher doesn’t care, I will look for the Educational Department. If the Educational Department doesn’t care, I will look for the headmaster. I will ask him again what he meant by the friendship between schoolmates and upholding righteousness at all times.”
