It’s That Person (1)

Fu Songhua pushed several boys from the next class out of his way and was about to follow after Fang Li, but Qin Yuan suddenly shouted after him.

“Fu Songhua, wait a minute!” His gaze was cold and solemn. “I have something to do here.”

Fu Songhua’s chest rose and fell intensely as he looked at him.

Qin Yuan reached out and beckoned him to his side, voice extremely low, “Do you believe it that Fang Li stole those things?”

“I don’t believe it!” Fu Songhua shouted angrily.

“Listen to me then.” Qin Yuan said word by word, “You have every girl’s phone number in our class, right? Quickly, find two people for me.”

The street outside was crowded with people and the small restaurant next door was lit up with students gathering for a meal, but when Ruan Qingmu rushed out, he saw no signs of Fang Li.

Ruan Qingmu paused before dashing toward the school in the cover of the darkness.

Tomorrow is National Day and there will be a long vacation after the sports competition. Although the sophomore year only got three days of holiday, many students had already returned home in advance tonight, making the dorm less crowded than usual.

Ruan Qingmu dashed madly and climbed up the stairs to the fourth floor in one breath, pouncing straight on Fang Li and Li Zhiyong’s dorm room. His heart was on fire.

Fang Li desperately tried to snatch the things out of Liu Jun’s hand like a mad little beast. “Give them back to me…”

Liu Jun grabbed the lipstick and makeup mirror on the table and watched as Fang Li rushed to grab those items from him before playfully throwing them in all directions, one to Li Zhiyong next to him and then to another boy.

“Coming to destroy the evidence? It’s too late now.”

Li Zhiyong went on to say, “The people from the Security Department will arrive soon. We found your stash together and will testify against you. Nobody framed or set you up.”

Another boy stood in the doorway and draped that white chiffon skirt on himself, bursting into laughter. “Old Liu, your class truly has talent. Come and take a picture of me. I also want to dress up as a drag queen.”

Fang Li’s eyes were red and he turned around to the door, trying to pull the clothes to him. “Take it off…”

Liu Jun was more robust and he pulled him back. “Is it yours? Wear it for us to see. If it fits you, that means that it’s yours.”

Li Zhiyong laughed out loud. “That’s right. That’s right. Cinderella also has to wear the glass slippers to prove herself!”

Fang Li was pushed violently by Liu Jun and fell heavily to the ground, his head hitting the table leg.

Liu Jun curiously crouched down and held Fang Li’s phone, matching it against his delicate face. “Tch. Looking carefully, he truly looks like a girl.”

He casually picked up the lipstick falling on the ground, an evil intention flashing in his eyes. “Why don’t we put lipstick on him and see the result right on the spot?”

Li Zhiyong had a tacit understanding with him and hurried to come over while grinning, reaching out to hold Fang Li’s hand. “You guys put lipstick on him.”

The two boys at the door slightly hesitated. “We won’t get involved in your class matters. We can be the witnesses.”

Liu Jun reached out to hold Fang Li’s face, taking the lipstick and drawing it on his lips.

Fang Li desperately struggled, kicking and hitting, his voice finally carrying sobs. “Let go of me. You bastards… won’t die nicely!”

Liu Jun was furious. “Still fucking dare to curse people? You’re a thief!”

Fang Li suddenly raised his head and fiercely looked at those several people, biting his lip firmly. “I didn’t steal anything!”

“Don’t want to admit it?” Liu Jun sneered. “Do you think you’re so amazing because you’ve climbed on Ruan Qingmu, that high branch*? You’re not only a thief but a disgusting, perverted thief!”

*T/N: Climbing a higher branch: making friends or forming relationships with people of higher social statuses than oneself.

Fang Li’s hand was held by Li Zhiyong, and he curled up on the ground, unable to move. He suddenly kicked out, saying with a trembling voice. “You’re the thief!”

Liu Jun was not prepared for the pain in his leg and raised his foot in anger. “Are you trying to reverse the sky*?!”

*T/N: To reverse a desperate situation.

Someone suddenly came bursting through the door behind him as Liu Jun raised his foot.

The two boys from the next class had their arms crossed over their chests as they watched those two bully Fang Li before they were suddenly hit by a blow behind them, crying out in pain. “Fuck. Who is it?!”

A figure rushed in like a whirlwind, his long legs flying up in the air and he kicked Liu Jun from behind, sending him straight to the ground.

As he turned around, he kicked Li Zhiyong hard in his knees.

“Haven’t I given you guys enough face? Why do you keep on provoking me again and again?” He was expressionless and his eyes were a little bloodshot.

Liu Jun reacted with a shout of rage and tried to swing his fist, but Ruan Qingmu’s hand was unimaginably fast.

As Liu Jun lunged, Ruan Qingmu had already simultaneously grabbed a glass bottle from the table. His arm carried the wind with it and he smashed the bottle fiercely straight onto Liu Jun’s head.

He smiled as he watched Liu Jun stagger and cover his head, blood slowly trickling down from the crack between his fingers, hostility radiating from his black eyes. “Do you want to die so badly? I’ll fulfill it for you.”

The several boys in the dorm all lay and kneeled on the ground. Liu Jun’s head was covered with blood and he was in a daze after his head was hit, not daring to move out of fright.

Ruan Qingmu turned around and crouched down, looking at Fang Li, who cowered on the ground. He glanced at the garish lipstick smeared on his lips and at his forehead.

There was a bruise forming there and it slowly became swollen.

“Who hit you? Liu Jun or Li Zhiyong?” He asked slowly in a low voice, “I’ll help you return the hit.”

“I’ll hit you until you’re paralyzed!” Liu Jun pounced over in exasperation.

Ruan Qingmu didn’t even look back, a cold light flashing in his eyes.
