Narrow-Minded (2)

The boy behind hurriedly picked it up and cautiously unfolded it. After copying at top speed, he stealthily kicked the leg of Liu Jun’s desk.

Liu Jun’s spirit was instantly lifted, and he straightened up his sitting position.

Looking as the female teacher was turning around, the boy quickly raised his hand and threw the ball of paper to the back.

Before Liu Jun could catch it, a small object was suddenly shot from a distance and hit the paper ball that had just fallen to his desk!

Two balls of white paper collided together and flew to the ground a few meters away.

Liu Jun looked at the paper ball in confusion and then slowly turned his head.

Not far away, Ruan Qingmu held the roughly made slingshot by the window and leisurely waved at him.

Fuck his grandfather! How was it so accurate?

He fiercely stared at Ruan Qingmu, then nudged the boy in front and whispered in a tiny voice. “Make another one. The cheat paper fell.”

The boy in front: “??”

After a short moment, the paper ball passed once again.

The paper ball didn’t even land on the desk this time. It was cut off in mid-air by a whiz of a secret weapon and was deflected a few meters away.

Liu Jun: “…..”

Fuck, did Ruan Qingmu, that bastard, practice shooting darts or slingshots?

Where did he get the one hundred percent accuracy?

The boy in the front was forced to pass the answer sheets four times throughout the exam, and he was baffled.

After the bell rang and all the papers had been handed, the boy eagerly turned around, “Liu-ge, are you crazy? Is there -”

When he turned his head, Liu Jun had already stood in front of Ruan Qingmu’s desk. “Are you fucking crazy? Did you not answer any questions on the latter half of the exam and just stare at me?”

One of Ruan Qingmu’s legs leaned against the window, and the other, injured, leg lightly rested on the ground. He indifferently laughed. “That’s right, ah. I just watched you.”

“You’re crazy! Don’t want to do the exam anymore?!”

Ruan Qingmu looked at him with astonishment. “I don’t care, ah. Why? Do you care about it so much?”

“You!” Liu Jun suddenly raised his fist. The little brother at his side hurriedly threw himself and firmly held him back.

“Forget about it, Liu-ge; cool down your anger. Have you forgotten that Old Jian said he would keep a watch over the few of us yesterday?” Several people muttered in a low voice in his ears. “There are so many eyes looking now.”

……

The students in the front simultaneously looked behind. They were at a loss for words and didn’t even think of matching their answers anymore.

Huang Ya whispered to Bai Jing, “Fuck! I believe what you said yesterday.”

“What did I say?” Bai Jing sheepishly asked.

“You said Liu Jun and the others didn’t get any advantage over him. It seems to be the truth.” Huang Ya swallowed his saliva. “Say, did Ruan Qingmu really become crippled and not want to live on anymore? The fish was dead, and the fishnet was broken2?”

Ruan Qingmu tilted his head and laughed at Liu Jun and several other boys at the back of the class. He then took out his phone and shouted at the classroom.

“For those who offered clues just now, I’ve sent out red envelopes.”

A string of twenty yuan red envelopes was neatly sent out on the private chat windows.

He lowered his head and sent out a fifty yuan red envelope to a real-name ID: “Thank you.”

Tang Tiantian, on the other side, didn’t accept it and only replied with: “No need. I don’t want the money.”

After pausing for a while, she added: “Do you want to tell Old Jian? I can testify for you.”

Ruan Qingmu faintly smiled and typed: “Good lady, really no need for that.”

After he finished typing, he suddenly felt a little baffled.

Aiya, he still couldn’t change this manner of talking. It was the same as when he teased those young ladies from the righteous sect in his previous life.

He hurriedly retracted the message and changed it: “Good class monitor, really no need for that. Thank you very much.”

Tang Tiantian bit her lip and looked at the disappearing flash of a message, a blush slowly appearing on her face.

……

A long time was allotted for the Chinese composition part of the exam, but there was ample time in the afternoon. The school arranged for two subjects in the afternoon: first Math, and then English.

Ruan Qingmu was still willing to write a little on the Chinese exam paper in the morning. He didn’t have any interest in Math or English in the afternoon. What were all these weird things? These were all things unheard of and never-before-seen for him.

It wasn’t that he totally couldn’t do it, and he wrote whatever he was able to.

However, he completely gave up on those questions that needed more thinking and closed his exam book early.

He let out a big yawn, slumped on the desk, rested his arm, and began to stare at Liu Jun without blinking.
