Full of Nonsense (1)

The man with the arm tattoo was choked until his face turned red. He randomly waved his muscled arm, but he didn’t dare to hit Ruan Qingmu. His pair of eyes were as big as copper bells as he firmly stared at Ruan Qingmu and vaguely shouted, “Let go of me!”

Ruan Qingmu coldly looked at him and finally let go of his hand.

The arm-tattooed man suddenly sat up and loudly coughed. He was ashamed and angry, “You unsensible brat. If it weren’t because of Li-jie, I would have beaten you until you peed!”

Ruan Qingmu smirked, threw the towel, and opened a small drawer in front of the bed. There were some sterilized towels and disposable cups used for massages placed inside.

He grabbed a small pair of scissors from the side, weighed it, and flung it with a backhand. The scissors glinted with a cold light, brushed against the arm-tattooed man’s neck, and flew out!

The scissors stuck at the wall on the back with a “whoosh” sound. It brought down a chunk of the grey-coloured paint and crumbs.

The arm-tattooed man was frightened until he trembled. He turned his head to look at the swaying scissors stuck on the wall and let out a jaw-dropping yell.

“Fuck! This boy has skill!”

Ruan Qingmu held his arm, approached his face, and carefully sized him up, “You’re not afraid? Do you realize that if I tilted my hand a little more, I could have pierced through your neck?”

The arm-tattooed man consciously touched his neck. He didn’t feel any pain. Why would there be a bead of blood?

In a daze, he looked at the blood on his hand and suddenly jumped. “Are you crazy? Where did you learn these crooked ways?  What if you used a knife like this outside and really hurt someone? You won’t learn something well. Instead, you’re learning to be like your dead father!”

Once the words came out of his mouth, he looked at Ruan Qingmu’s expressionless face and abruptly closed his mouth. After a while, he cautiously said, “My stupid mouth…you, you don’t need to take it seriously.”

Ruan Qingmu cooly looked at him. After a while, he calmly smiled, “Right, my dad could stab a person until they’re dead. It could be hereditary.”

The arm-tattooed man was anxious. “Young hooligan, don’t be unaware; studying well is the proper way! Later if you kill a person and go to jail, how will your mom live on? Was it easy for Li-jie to raise you? You fucking learned from bad examples. Have you ever thought of your mom?!”

Ruan Qingmu, “….”

What the hell was this.

Facing this kind of earnest virtue persuasion, one who didn’t know would think that it was the community volunteer worker coming.

“Don’t think I don’t know what’s in your mind.” Ruan Qingmu impatiently lowered his eyelids. “Get lost, go farther from me. My mom won’t like you.”

The arm-tattooed man flushed. “You don’t understand a damn thing! If not for you, your mom would have been remarried long ago. I am young, have a strong body, and sincerely like her. Where am I not good? Just because you’re not an adult yet. Wait until you get into the university, then your mom won’t need to stay a widow. At that time, I will propose to your mom.”

Ruan Qingmu stretched his foot and kicked him; his expression was ice-cold. “Even if my mom wants to remarry, she won’t marry you.”

He opened the door lock, turned around, and walked out. “Go away. You’re not welcome here.”

The arm-tattooed man hurriedly put on his slippers and chased after him outside, “Your mom won’t find a man as good as me. I don’t even disdain her even though I’m younger than your mom by eight years!”

Just as he was shouting, he saw Mu Wanli’s angry face. Her fierce glare frightened him, and his voice turned soft. “Hey, Li-jie, don’t be angry, don’t be angry. I’m chatting with your son.”

Mu Wanli harshly pushed him out. “Get lost, get lost. My son bothered you, so you should hang around less in front of Lao-niang.”

Two yellow-haired men also rushed out from the next-door room. They ran out, following the arm-tattooed man in embarrassment. The arm-tattooed man was pushed out of the door by Mu Wanli, but he wasn’t angry. He merely muttered in a low voice, “Hey, Li-jie, something’s wrong with your son! You should watch him a little. Tell him not to learn from bad examples, really….”

It was peaceful in the small living room. All visiting guests had left without any trace. The blind girl, Xiao-Yu, and the technician, Xiao-Zheng, groped their way out. Both of them felt a little at a loss.

Mu Wanli took a furtive glance at her son and carefully asked, “I’ll go to pack your suitcase for boarding at the school?”

Ruan Qingmu watched his mom go inside the house. He reached out and pulled Xiao-Zheng to sit. “Zheng-ge, I’m going to live at the school. In the future, I can only come back home once a week.”
