Chapter 262: Third World: Exchanging Indirect Kisses Sharing A Watermelon Popsicle

Despite clearly fighting a losing battle, Zhao Huangzhi and Qie Guaiwu persisted. Qie Ranzhe had intentionally left without anyone's knowledge but the two women were more resourceful than they appeared. President Qie wanted them to acquire vital intel on Feng Yu so he could send backup and restrain the world's most wanted criminal. With the help of a military satellite within the area, the president's office pinpointed Qie Ranzhe's location.

Using this piece of information, Zhao Huangzhi and Qie Guaiwu caught up to them. They had been expecting Feng Zi to be surprised to see them but he seemed the least bit unfazed not even acknowledging them, treating them like air. He was already seeing red in anger and the presence of these two women was just making it worse. He wanted to tear off the flesh off their bodies but for the sake of not traumatizing his son, he restraint himself.

"What are you two doing here?" asked Airen who was also in a horrible mood. After the car ride, her hands were itching to fire bullets to vent her anger and these two happened to show up. She drew her weapon as she asked this question. This was her sending a message to these two to go back to whatever hole they crawled out off.

"Airen!" yelled Wen Qinxi as he felt Feng Xieling's trembling fingers clasping onto his. The bloodthirsty expression on Airen's face dissipated at Feng Zi's voice. She holstered her weapon and strode a few feet away from the rest of the group, vowing to kill these two women in their sleep. What young miss Airen didn't know was she was experiencing a thing called jealousy which amplified her anger towards the wrong people.

Seeing her walk away, her steps fierce as though she had a vendetta against the sand, Machu followed behind not at all concerned for his own life.

Wen Qinxi picked up Feng Xieling and strolled up a sand dune to create some distance from the vile stepmother and two stepsisters that seemed to have transmigrated from the fairytale Cinderella. Seeing his princess walk away from him at the stroke of midnight, Qie Ranzhe ran after him but Qie Guaiwu stopped him.

"So you know? Is that why you are misbehaving and breaking military protocol? You know what he has done, what he is.... yet you sacrifice your merits for him. Have you lost your mind," said Qie Guaiwu with her feelings spewing out like a hot spring that's been under pressure fir a long time. Qie Ranzhe removed her hand that was holding his wrist and walked away after giving her a disdainful look. He couldn't understand why everyone opposed their relationship. Same-sex relationships weren't a rare occurrence and it was widely accepted. Furthermore, this man had a child with him which was a miracle in itself. What else could it be apart from destiny? All his life he had followed their every order against his personal feelings yet they wouldn't allow him to be happy. It can be said that the general had had enough.

"It's not normal Ran-er, it will end in disaster," she yelled at his residing back but Qie Ranzhe kept on walking. Being ignored once more, she angrily kicked the sand. It was after raising the dust venting out her anger that she heard sniffles coming from behind the car. The two women followed the sound and found Nu Shen squatted on the ground with her face buried in between her knees. It seemed Nu Shen got the short end of the stick and failed miserably.

While the two women were fake comforting Nu Shen, Wen Qinxi was cleaning up Nu Shen's mess. Her words seemed to have roused Feng Xieling's curiosity. It would actually be a surprise if it didn't.

"If a mommy is so much better, why don't I have one?" asked Feng Xieling nervously squeezing his plush toy. Wen Qinxi sat on the ground crisscrossed and placed Feng Xieling on his legs. He began to draw stick figures on the sand, two tall ones and a tiny one in the middle holding hands. The drawing wasn't anything special, if anything it could be rated kindergarten level but it was its meaning that was of the uttermost importance.

"Lin Lin, a mommy would be great, as equally great as having no mommy but what matters most is happiness. Families are bound together for a lifetime and if they aren't happy wouldn't that make such a lifetime dreadful? Lin Lin, I want you to live in a happy family, with happy parents. I and your daddy are happy together and we are happy to have you. To me, this makes this life worth it," said Wen Qinxi expressing a mouthful of words. This was his motto in life, to be happy.

Feng Xieling seemed to understand. If a mommy wouldn't make his dad happy then he would rather have two dads. Besides, having two dads wasn't at all bad. They both loved him which was the most important thing to him. Qie Ranzhe who had been eavesdropping this entire time walked over and handed Feng Xieling a strawberry milk popsicle he had packed up in a cooler box.

"Thank you, daddy," said Feng Xieling receiving the unwrapped popsicle. He didn't even know his address towards Qie Ranzhe had changed. As they say in paternity court, anyone can be a father but not everyone can be a daddy. Feng Xieling was about to take a nibble when he noticed Feng Zi didn't have one so he lifted his tiny hand towards his dad asking him to take a bite.

"Look at you sharing with your dad. Maybe you should teach your daddy that sharing is caring," he said but before Wen Qinxi could take a bite, an icy block touched his lips. Once he looked up, Qie Ranzhe was holding out a popsicle to his lips.

"No need, I brought your dad a special kind of popsicle," said Qie Ranzhe with a sly grin that had Wen Qinxi furrow his brows. As the flavour spread across his taste buds, Wen Qinxi's face flushed in an instant. How did this shy bunny transform into a cunning fox overnight? He could only guess that lovemaking was the key to unlocking the flirtatious beast within Qie Ranzhe. The popsicle in his mouth was watermelon yoghurt flavour which incited last night's memories. This was exactly Qie Ranzhe's purpose.

Satisfied with the outcome, Qie Ranzhe took back the popsicle and took a nibble right were Feng Zi left a bite mark. Wen Qinxi couldn't help but blush recalling their first night. Little did he know he was already breaking his promise of not going beyond third base. It seemed this young master had already forgotten the pain due to Qie Ranzhe's incessant teasing.

Qie Ranzhe placed his arm around Feng Zi eating the popsicle in turns. Like this, the popsicle vanished with the two exchanging indirect kisses.
