Chapter 107: Second World: Prince Disses Marshal Live

A barrage of comments admiring the prince's firm chest under the fabric and others mocking the caller that had not only been rejected but also blacklisted. The comments overloaded the Livestream causing it to lag. Just as Qie Ranzhe was about to use Machu's communicator which he had snatched away from him for the second time and call Prince Xieshu, a call suddenly came through on the prince's communicator.

Wen Qinxi saw it was Xiao Hua and picked it up with no hesitation saying, "What Hua Hua you miss me already?" on loudspeaker while chopping some mushroom.

"I saw your Livestream," said Xiao Hua but there was some snickering feedback in the background that he said, "Sshhh," reprimanding them to stay silent. "Um...ahem...l just saw it."

"And?" asked Wen Qinxi tossing in the vegetables in the wok to stir fry with his entire focus on making food.

"You really don't like the Marshal anymore? I mean just like that?" he asked trying to suppress his laughter.

Wen Qinxi finally had enough and went on a swearing rampage. "What's so fuckin good about him anyway? I was too fuckin blind running around like a lovesick puppy like he's the only fuckin alpha on this planet," he said before slamming the knife on the cutting board with a loud bang.

"Sigh.....I have nothing against the Marshal but he can go for that green tea bitch for all I care. l have moved on so don't fuckin mention his name in front of me ever again," seemingly pacified.

"I bet he never...um even tried your cooking even when you learnt it.....for um.....him," said Xiao Hua struggling to suppress his laughter.

"That fuckin piece shit dared to toss my food in the trash. He thinks l didn't fuckin see it when I fuckin did! All those wasted years of pursuing his pompous ass have fuckin come to an end," said a passionate Wen Qinxi while tying up his hair recalling all the things the character did to get Qie Ranzhe's attention but was constantly tossed aside for Zhao Huangzhi. The thought of Zhao Huangzhi being with Qie Ranzhe left a sour taste in his mouth and venting about it made his chest feel lighter.

A burst of burst laughter was heard from the other end of the call with Tong saying, "Xie Xie...pfft....um your Livestream is still on. Its...hum...its been on the entire time, hahahahaha!"

"Shit! You fuckers," said a panicked Wen Qinxi pressing disconnect three times before opting to switch off the device instead. By the time the broadcast ended his views were a whopping three billion breaking Livestream records with a trending 'Prince Disses Marshal' headline.

Being scolded like this on a Livestream, Qie Ranzhe had mixed feelings. He wasn't necessarily angry but he felt a prickly pain in his chest asking Machu, "Was l too excessive?"

"No," said Machu recalling the trash can incident. "No," he said again recalling several other incidences. "Yes, a little," he finally said unable to whitewash the Marshal's rejection methods. "I know you were only trying to discourage and get him to give up but I can see why he is angry. At least you two won't be entangled with each other ever again."

Qie Ranzhe bowed his head down in a daze looking like a dejected little duck, feeling regretful. Yes, at least he won't be entangled with Zhao Xieshu again.

Because Wen Qinxi stirred up even more trouble he was confined to his palace for another two weeks but based on Zhao Xieshu's character this wasn't a hindrance as the omega had several means to bypass the security system and leave the pavilion undetected. Wen Qinxi was itching to explore the so-called secret base but just as he was preparing to sneak out, the main door was suddenly pushed opened from the outside and Zhao Huangzhi strutted into his pavilion as if she owned the place.

It was obvious why she was here but Wen Qinxi was not in the mood to deal with crazy people. She languidly sat on the couch without waiting for his invitation not uttering a single word that is until Wen Qinxi stood in front of her urging her to state the reason for her uninvited visit, "Speak."

Zhao Huangzhi raised a brow and looked up to him as though sizing him up while saying, "I saw your Livestream, you really don't like him anymore?"

"I am over him, rest assured we aren't going to be love rivals anymore," he said wishing he could kick her out as he had an urgent date with a Mecha.

"We weren't love rivals from the beginning. You seriously overestimate yourself Xieshu, hahahahaha," said Zhao Huangzhi letting out a haughty laugh, "It's so pathetic that you actually thought this was a competition," taunting him but she didn't get a reaction from Zhao Xieshu whose expression remained unchanged.

"Sure, sure, l overestimated my abilities. Now don't waste your precious time hanging around with me when you have an alpha waiting for you. Go on," he said politely kicking her out if there is ever such a thing. "Wish you everlasting happiness with lots and lots of cute dumplings, can't wait to be an uncle!" he yelled with a bright smile having to have successfully thrown out Zhao Huangzhi before closing the door.

A puzzled Zhao Huangzhi didn't understand what had just happened. 'How could winning be this simple?' she thought looking back at the tightly shut door. She immediately turned on her heel to leave before the emperor found out she had paid Zhao Xieshu a visit. He would be extremely livid that she might get punished as well.

While Zhao Huangzhi was mulling over her unexpected victory, Wen Qinxi found the sliding automated door, similar to a murphy door, masked as a wide built-in wall shoe shelf in the walk-in closet which automatically opened after extracting his DNA sample. He had only found out about this secret after extensively going through the character files and was dying to know what was hidden inside.
