Chapter 36 Dungeon Day(II)

Darkness…..

Entering the dungeon, the first thing that came to the hero's sight was an unprecedented feeling of darkness

Just taking a few steps into it, they seemed to feel something crawl on their legs from time to time

Obviously, entering a dungeon especially one as creepy as this one was still a bit too much for people just coming from a modern society

*crunch~*

"Damn! Why didn't anyone have a flashlight transported with them"

"Just moving about in this place gives me the creeps"

Stepping on a piece of broken bones Tomoki couldn't help but complain angrily as he headed deep into the dungeon

In fact, not only the heroes felt uncomfortable but even the knights and inquisitors accompanying them felt the dungeon was especially eerie today.

However, what nobody realised was that what they felt wasn't just a feeling, rather something was really going on

And whatever it was at this moment had led the gods who were known to be omnipotent to feel restless

[The bearded dwarven god feels like something bad is about to happen]

[A certain Martial God readies his fists for a fight]

[The beautiful goddess of light smells the breath of heresy approaching ]

Getting ready to act, the gods who had already picked various chosen ones among the heroes were extra wary

After all, summoning heroes wasn't something that could be done regularly so losing their chosen one meant having to wait for the next hero summoning

Realising this, the goddess of light immediately delivered a warning oracle to the head inquisitor Kevin who was in charge of the hero's safety

And the head knight, who was currently leading the dungeon raid with a serious face couldn't help but pause due to the sudden change

"This!"

Unable to react, just as Kevin was about to lead the way into the next chamber of the dungeon, his eyes suddenly began to glow

And along with that, a stream of warnings about the current situation suddenly descended into his mind

Obviously, this was the goddess of lights' method of warning him about the peculiarity of the current situation

Unfortunately, it was just a little bit too late

"Ahhhh!!!"

Just as Kevin had finished digesting the information, a scream suddenly sounded in his ears gaining his attention

*Damn! What is going on!*

*how could this happen within a few seconds!*

Unable to believe what he was seeing, Kebin began to question if he had accidentally spent days digesting the Oracle instead of a few days

Because what he was seeing right now, wasn't something he believed could happen within a few second

However, the endangered heroes before him seemed to prove otherwise

Surrounded by hundreds of skeletons with more still emerging from the ground, the heroes including the knights and the priests could be said to be in serious trouble

*Bang!*

"Hero-sama's! Get yourself together! As a hero, one must never show weakness!"

"Even when surrounded by an overwhelming amount of enemies"

Speaking to the heroes behind, a knight with a long beard have them some words of encouragement before slashing down a row of skeletons in front of him

*Boom!*

*Bang!*

*slash~!*

*Hack~!*

Soon time passed, and although Kevin was worried given the oracle he just had

However, he still decided not to act yet and watched silently since his gut feeling kept telling him the worst was yet to come

Fortunately, although he didn't do anything, the heroes who had been watching the knights fight so valiantly for their sake finally began to act

And taking the lead was none other than Hibiki!

Holding a staff that had been given to her by the castle right before the dungeon raid, Hibiki immediately began to launch a flurry of attacks

"Water magic activate!"

"Rapid rain bullet!" shouted Hibiki

with this yell, in the extremely dry dungeon, tens of water bullets began to form in the air destroying one skeletal whenever they descended

And with this, it didn't surprise that a certain unfamiliar sound soon came to her ear

[level up!]

[level up!]

[level up!]

Under Hibiki's series of attacks, her body soon flashed green three times symbolising that she had levelled up three times

And with each level up, hibiki's mana and stamina both resorted and increased making her seem like a perpetual motion machine

Such a change naturally could go unnoticed by her classmates, and realizing the benefits of leveling up, they too soon joined the fight

"Spear arts! One stab three deaths!"

"Fire magic activate! Fireball barrage!"

"Wind magic go! Gust of ten thousand winds!"

Soon, using their abilities and skills, all kinds of different attacks were launched as everyone was eager to level up

It was even to the point where those who had run out of mana didn't fall back but rather used their bare fists to continue going at it

Fortunately, the knights and priests were there to ensure everyone's safety, and due to this nobody got hurt

However, it was at this moment when they thought they were winning that Kevin's bad feelings suddenly reached its peak

Sweat ran down his fire head as he sensed imminent death approaching, it seemed that every cell in his body was screaming or him to escape

And as to confirm his feelings were correct, suddenly the status window of all the heroes suddenly came up with a blaring red font

[Warning! Detected dungeon interference from race known as gods!]

[Warning! Detected spying from race known as gods!]

[Detecting The Dungeon lord is awake]

[Receiving dungeon lords command]

[Expelling all Gods!]

Watching what was happening on their screen, the heroes could help but feel speechless

Even the head inquisitor who could be said to be the closest to the goddess was dumbfounded as he suddenly lost contact with her divine power

Judging from the current situation, Kevin could feel that he had been completely isolated from her power

Realising this, he immediately wanted to leave this dungeon and find out what was going on from the pope, unfortunately, he couldn't

Looking around and feeling the current change, Kevin couldn't help but sigh unwillingly

All of a sudden, everything seemed to have made a turn for the worse.
