Chapter 113 Amanda's Arrival

Arthur shook his head in response. It's not that he can't smoke. In the world of magic, when he was young and studying at a magic academy, he also smoked because at that time, almost all the male students did.

There, there is no moral and health education, smoking is naturally not something that is prohibited.

But later, as he progressed further in magic, he realized that the effects of the cigarettes were quite great. The slight deformity on his body caused by the cigarette turned out to make a slight handicap in his magic. He needed a lot of effort to fix it.

This doesn't mean smoking is out of the question for magi, but not before they become Official Magi where mortal things can no longer affect their body.

Harry didn't look like he wanted to be pushy when he saw Arthur refuse. He put the cigarette case back in his pocket.

"By the way, do you like games?" he asked again.

"Yes, I used to, but not now, only when I don't feel like doing anything."

"How about having fun at a nightclub?"

"Don't like it at all."

"Ay!" The fat youth suddenly sighed after he heard Arthur's reply.

He scratched his head and said, "It seems there are too many differences between us. We shouldn't be two men who are suitable for being friends. However, well, maybe I need to change my hobbies, I thought being friends with you would be something fun."

"Actually there is one that I'm sure we have in common," Arthur replied.

"Uh, there is one, what is it?" Harry asked in a quick tone.

"Maybe our meal portions are the same."

Arthur said it was because he was starting to feel hungry, something he didn't expect either because he thought he shouldn't be hungry for four hours, but it had only been over two hours.

To this matter, he simply said that his Spiritual Core was extremely powerful, requiring too much energy to maintain it.

"Are you serious?" Harry naturally couldn't believe it.

"I'm not lying, but I'm not going to do some bullshit like competing over meals."

"Hahaha, of course, even if I'm fat, I won't do such nonsense either."

Throughout class, Harry kept talking, ignoring the teacher who was speaking at the front.

The teacher also didn't really care as long as his voice didn't disturb the lesson.

After an hour, break time finally came.

Arthur immediately stood up and left the classroom, followed by Harry who was constantly greeting the other students.

Just out of class, Arthur was greeted by Carla and Bella.

They seemed to have been waiting for him.

Of course, Harry opened his mouth in surprise when he saw the two women.

He seemed to want to greet them, but Bella suddenly spoke. "Arthur, do you want to go to the canteen?"

Even though Harry was standing right beside Arthur, she looked as if she didn't see him so the pudgy young man didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

He may not have a good physique, but the word ugly definitely doesn't suit him. For him, he is more suitable to be called unique. The proof is that he managed to change girlfriends since middle school.

Some people said that it was just because of his background, but almost half of his former girlfriends didn't even know he was rich enough.

Arthur wanted to nod, but suddenly, he saw a Black Lamborghini hurtling down the road, towards the school gates.

Because of its loud voice, it quickly attracted attention upon arriving in front of the school gate.

Seeing that it was Amanda's car, Bella frowned and said, "what is she doing here?"

When she said that, she glanced at Arthur and found the man had already made his move.

"Wait!" Bella quickly followed.

If it was Arthur and Rose, it might not be right for her to interfere, but Amanda was her big sister. If she were to become her love rival, she wasn't sure what she would do.

Give up and accept reality or be hostile to her own sister? Or maybe share with her?"

That last made her not know whether to laugh or cry. The ones who cried were probably their father and mother.

Carla, on the other hand, didn't move right away. But in the end, she also followed Arthur.

Although Harry was also curious, he chose to hold back. He was still intelligent enough to understand that he shouldn't meddle in the private affairs of even his old friends, not to mention new ones.

___

Amanda immediately caught the attention of all the students when she got out of her car.

She was not wearing office clothes, but trousers and a short t-shirt that did not cover her stomach.

With a slim waist plus a flat stomach and flawless skin, taking your eyes off her might be harder than taking your eyes off a pile of Euros.

After all, the students all belonged to the Gen-Z, a group of people who grew up reading web novels wish fulfillment.

When they see Amanda, they not only think about her beauty, but also fantasize about her being the heroine of their story.

If that is true, that is indeed something too good because Amanda is a millennial and one of the few women out of reach for men in that generation.

Unfortunately, their imaginations quickly shattered when they saw Arthur coming towards Amanda.

"Him again." Some of the students who had already remembered Arthur's whereabouts knitted their brows in displeasure.

Of course, not because Arthur walked up to Amanda, which crushed their imaginations, but because Amanda also approached Arthur with a smile that was too charming and when she arrived in front of Arthur, she suddenly grabbed his hand.

"Follow me," she said before pulling Arthur towards her Lamborghini.

Even though right behind Arthur was Bella, who was her own sister, she didn't seem too concerned about her existence.

Her eyes looked at her like she was saying, "why did you come here? Go back to your class!"
