Chapter 109 Back To School

Arthur ate quite slowly because he had to train them. Within fifteen minutes, they had tried three times.

The result might not be certain when they did it without his help, but this way was usually much quicker in training someone to do something because it was so much more than hands-on practice.

Since they were tired enough, Arthur stopped the training.

Of course, three tries still resulted in three dishes. The two girls placed the dishes they had cooked on plates before going to the dining table.

"I hope it tastes good enough." Bella said as she cut into her meat and bread. She put each piece together before popping it into her mouth.

"Mm..." Her lips pressed together as her eyes narrowed slightly.

"It's delicious!" She was surprised so she chewed even faster.

Seeing her expression, Carla finally started to eat the dish she was cooking. Even though her reactions were calmer, the way she chewed was also quicker than usual.

Meanwhile, Arthur stood up. "I'll go first, I have something to do. Remember, don't eat too much or you'll get fat!"

After saying that, he took a step, heading outside the house.

Just as he took a step Bella said, "must be you worried about us getting fat right? Ah, Arthur, why are you so ignorant, don't tell me that you have no desire for me?"

Carla was a little surprised Bella said that. She thought she was too bold. Though she too was bolder, she did it when there was no one but her and Arthur around.

At that rate, she thought her best friend would seriously invite Arthur to have sex.

While she was thinking, Arthur suddenly replied, "don't worry, you're quite the attractive one, but lately, I've seen more attractive women, you might be out of luck."

"What?" Bella and Carla gasped simultaneously. The former wondered if one of the women was her sister.

Of course, she was sure not to lose to her sister, but only if they were the same age. With their current age difference, she was way behind in terms of aura or social level.

As Arthur passed by the sidewalk beside the main road, a woman with red hair in ponytails, wearing trousers and a tight tank top came up to him.

She was like a horse, looking flashy and dashing. Glance like a female agent in Hollywood movies.

Most guys can't stop staring at her.

"Boss!" Surprisingly enough, the woman turned out to be approaching a young man who was clearly a student who was on his way to school.

The fact that she addressed the young man using the word boss made one wonder what his background was, and was that woman his bodyguard?

Coupled with the woman's smile as she greeted the young man, they couldn't help but think of the bodyguard who also accompanied her boss in bed.

A man in a black suit, carrying a work briefcase and a plastic bag filled with food looked very upset when he saw Arthur.

"Still young but already experienced something like that, how unfair the world is," he said in a cursing tone.

"The world can't be said to be unfair as long as you can still fantasize!" Suddenly the old man who passed by him spoke.

Feeling like he was being satirized, the man snorted at the old man.

He looked hin up and down. Seeing that he looked unremarkable, he said, "a person who has no accomplishments even after living long enough has no right to speak of justice. Do you know how much effort it took me to reach the point now?" His voice got higher as he said the last words.

"You don't know how to conquer the world, so your achievements won't be impressive. Life isn't only about how much you try, but how well you play the world." The old man answered.

"Just a stupid theory of motivators," the man replied, snorting again. He continued his steps, entered his car that was a bit old.

Surprisingly enough, when the old man arrived at the side of the road, a rather luxurious car pulled up in front of him.

The driver of the car got down and opened the back door of the car for the old man.

The latter glanced at the man in black suit sarcastically before stepping into the car.

"Damn it!" The man hit his own car in annoyance and it caused him pain.

Arthur and Rose naturally saw it all, an urban classic drama. It's been happening more and more lately.

He didn't think much of it, and what the old man said wasn't wrong at all. However, if we're talking about magic, it's not just about one's ability to play with the world. Hard work and having a determined heart are the most important factors. He himself succeeded because of those two factors.

"How is the result?" he asked Rose who followed him.

"We got all the evidence," Rose answered with a faint smile. "This is easy, but not because we are really serious about doing an investigation. It's just that the crime of that man's family is a bit too blatant, as if they really don't care about the law. However, the people behind them are indeed careful. Even though their relationship isn't exactly hidden, their transactions are really hard to trace."

"Send all the files to my email later," said Arthur.

"Yes, wait a few more moments, I need to organize those files first to make it easier for you to go through them."

"Okay!"

Arthur kept walking, but even though Rose's business was basically done, she still kept up with him, even until he got to school so the attention was on him again. Walking side by side with Rose, he looked even more conspicuous than with Carla and Bella.

"So this is your school..." Rose looked at the school from corner to corner, showing an expression of deep interest. And she said, "I think I regret a little bit for choosing to quit school earlier, sigh, I wish I was younger."

Arthur didn't respond to her words, he took a step.

But right after he took one step, a basketball suddenly fell in front of him.

That's not to say the basketball never fell through the school gates, but it sure was rare unless someone threw it there on purpose.
