Chapter 99 Magic World Again

With a quick movement, he stood up and then jumped to the floor, something he did in the hope that he would not immediately return to earth.

He didn't know if it was because of that, but he really didn't return to earth right away.

"What exactly is causing all this?" He wondered and immediately his head throbbed, he felt as though his consciousness was about to be pulled out of his body.

"Here it is!" His eyes shone, looked around but found nothing.

'I can't detect it, but I can endure it.' He holds his head.

Using his powers, he managed to hold his consciousness here, at least for a short while.

"That's right!" He suddenly remembered the two papers.

On earth, it would take a complicated process to read their contents due to his weak strength, but here, it was easy, there was no need for even incantations and magic, a little bit of power in his eyes was enough.

He took out a piece of paper and began to rewrite what was written on the two gold papers, including the details.

It's a good thing to have great power, you can remember anything you see with a glance.

Within minutes, Arthur finished writing what was written on the two gold papers.

'Let's see what it is, is there any information?' he thought.

His eyes shone again, this time even brighter, instantly enveloping every letter he wrote.

Gradually, he began to master the letters and the language, as if the world itself were giving him knowledge.

(Sigh, sigh, sigh, such a huge world has been destroyed, becoming such a small place, this is the result of arrogance. Luckily some independent dimensions have managed to survive. Though they also experienced destruction, I think they can grow again... I hope the world may recover one day. — That's right, I need to restrict the people there or they will bully the people in the mortal world.)

(Damn, who are they, where did they come from? How did they get here? They sure look terrible. Ohh, it seems they're not doing well either, almost the same as me, that means the world is safe for the time being.)

(Yeah, these are probably the last words I'm writing, I need a long sleep, don't know if I'll be able to get up again.)

'Did I get the final chapters?' Arthur was slightly stunned before starting to think about the information he read.

There are at least three topics, the first is the destruction of the world, the second is independent dimensions, and the third is terrible creatures.

What does it all mean?

That meant apart from that the earth was the remains of the great world that was destroyed, there were other things that were hidden.

Like independent dimensions, for example, Arthur can say that they are very dangerous from the point of view of earthlings.

'Well, for those things, I can only find out slowly.'

'Now, I'm more curious as to what exactly caused my transfer.'

While he was thinking, he suddenly remembered someone. 'I need to visit him! Maybe there will be an answer!'

Whoosh!

He waved his hand, sending a beam of light through the window. There was no way he would leave with his body in this state, sending a spiritual body was the only way to stay safe.

His spiritual body appeared above the sky where below was a huge flying city.

The city was surrounded by many birds, which at a closer look, they were actually very large, serving as vehicles for the people who came to the city.

It was the city he lived in, but it wasn't his city, his palace couldn't be found there either, you could say that he just hid his palace in that city.

Except for his subordinates, no one knew about it.

Sometimes, he moved places.

With his strength, it wasn't difficult to explore territories, but he had always wandered during his growth years and it had become his habit so even after he reached the peak of the magic world, he still wandered.

After a brief halt, he flew westward, breaking through layers upon layers of clouds and passing through many flying cities.

Here, the strong indeed prefer to stay in the sky, acting like gods. Those with middle strength usually lived on the floating continents that lay between the sky and the lands below.

As for those lands, it was mixed, from mortals who founded countless empires to low-level magi and knights.

Reaching the sky is of course not easy, it takes a long and winding journey.

Actually, the real name of this world isn't the magic world. It's just a term because here is the center of magic. Its real name is Sky World, which is like the life of its people where the pinnacle of civilization is in the sky.

Arthur's spiritual body was somewhat transparent, but it was extremely fast, covering great distances in no time.

About two hours later, he landed in a vast desert. It's a scary desert. Apart from the heat, there were skulls of various gigantic creatures, some as big as cities.

At some point, a sandstorm appeared, which consisted not only of sand, but also large boulders. If the sandstorms on earth were safe enough, here it could practically kill even a magus.

Of course, this is not a place without residents. You can still find small villages here. The majority of its inhabitants do not walk the path of magic, but the path of the warrior.

Whoosh!

Arthur had just landed, a figure covered in a black robe so that his face could not be seen suddenly appeared in front of him.

If you notice, his body is actually slightly bent, he's even holding a staff.

Only, his hands themselves were completely covered, causing you to not be able to see his skin so you couldn't tell if he was an old man.

"Huhu, why did you come?" The figure said. His voice was so hoarse, it sounded like the sound of a broken speaker. You would probably be beaten if you had a voice like that without the power to suppress others' anger.

Right after he spoke, he removed the hood covering his head, revealing a skull that was pitch black, like a diamond because it reflected the light that hit it.

And he had a pair of blood-red eyes. When his eyes met those bloodshot eyes, even Arthur felt uncomfortable.

This was a living skull, not someone's skull like the mouth of the skull he stole from the Stage of Death.
