Chapter 77 Return To The City

Not long after, several men from the Stage of Death arrived, bringing Emilia and Gianna with them.

Even though they weren't tied up, they didn't try to fight anymore, maybe they were forcibly pacified.

Their clothes had also been changed into long jeans and T-shirts, only their wounds had not been treated.

The men didn't say anything, they left the two women in front of the mercenaries before leaving again.

Of course, they were confused because they were suddenly ushered here and then left behind. They stared at the ferocious-looking mercenaries and couldn't help but be scared.

However, they finally calmed down when they saw Arthur.

"Young master, I knew you would save me, thank you," said Gianna, walking up to Arthur with a smile, which was practically like she was showing her vicious nature.

However, Arthur suddenly pointed at Amanda. "She's the one who saved you both, don't thank me," he said in a fairly cold tone.

Gianna froze at Arthur's words, she then looked at Amanda, slightly doubtful.

Meanwhile, Amanda approached the two women.

"Do you know, you two are a disgrace to us women, do you know that you are watched by more than 25,000 people from various places?" Even though Amanda saved them, she was clearly annoyed with them, so she started lecturing them.

In front of Amanda's aura, whose class was far above them, they were completely helpless, not even daring to open their mouths, let alone answer.

They only answered when Amanda asked them about themselves, such as where did they come from and what was their family background.

When they tried to blame each other, Amanda snapped at them.

They turned out to be from the capital city, Brussels, and from quite wealthy families. Emilia's father, for example, owns a company, which, although not big, is still enough to be part of the elite.

Gianna's mother, on the other hand, was a trusted employee of Emilia's father.

When the latter had no wife left, he decided to marry her. And that was the beginning of the Cinderella story in their family.

The criminals here might be Gianna and her mother, but if we look further, they also cannot be completely blamed because according to Gianna, her mother and Emilia's father had a relationship in the past but it was ruined by Emilia's mother. Their grudge had basically started a long time ago.

Emilia's mother is dead, so Gianna's mother's hatred has transferred to Emilia. As for Gianna herself, many factors caused her to hate Emilia. Jealousy is the main factor, but what causes it all is because Emilia's father only wants her mother, but not with her, even seems to dislike her. Several times, his attitude towards her was quite rude. Maybe she became a knot in his heart because it showed him that his woman in the past had a daughter with another man.

When Amanda asked if they could stop their animosity, they immediately ground their teeth, something they clearly couldn't.

However, for that matter, Amanda didn't really care because it was their business, she just couldn't see them fighting on a stage and being watched by thousands of people.

She thought she would just send them back to their homes. In the city, even if they hated each other, the things they could do were limited. They might threaten to kill each other, but how could it be so easy. Not to mention the consequences of doing that.

When they were told that they would be imprisoned and that prison life was worse than death in that they might become the objects of lust for the women in prison, they immediately trembled with fear.

They had heard of it and their pretty faces made the possibility of them becoming like that very high.

To keep them from making a scene on the way to Palermo, Amanda orders them to come with the mercenaries on their bus while she and Arthur head back to Aldo and Mario's Van.

It's just that, which bothers Amanda a little, Rose turns out to be following them.

"Why are you here?" Amanda asked, knitting her brows together, indicating she was distracted and didn't want her presence.

"I'm a woman," Rose answered calmly. "We don't need to argue about that, without considering who I am other than that I'm a woman, you should know where the right place is for me."

Amanda's eyes moved up at her words. Since she was speaking the truth, arguing would only make her look petty, however, Rose wasn't Emilia and Gianna who could be considered punished.

"Humph!" Amanda snorted before entering the van, not greeting Aldo and Mario who wanted to greet her.

Rose, on the other hand, nodded at them, but she still asked Arthur. "It's fine, right, boss?"

Arthur didn't answer, just shook his head while waving his hand. In essence, he was telling her not to ask about those unimportant things.

Rose smiled wryly, but she was also happy that she understood Arthur a little more.

Amanda hadn't sat down when Arthur entered the Van, it was obvious she was waiting for him. And when he sat down, she immediately sat beside him. Each sofa in the van was actually enough for three people, but of course it wasn't a pretty sight if everyone was sitting on the same sofa, Rose had no other choice but to sit on another sofa.

The van moved not long after.

Behind, the mercenary Bus followed in about fifty meters.

As the Van pulled into the main road, Arthur picked up the remote, turned on the TV.

He then looked at Amanda, finding she was actually a bit exhausted already.

"Don't push yourself too much, go to sleep first, I don't want you to get sick so you can't work properly tomorrow," he told her.

Any woman always feels happy when a man understands them, Amanda smiled happily and replied, "please wake me up when we arrive at the hotel!"

After saying that, she held Arthur's hand and leaned on his shoulder before closing her eyes.

It must be said that she really cared a lot for Arthur. While she slept on his shoulder, she rested his hand on her breasts, giving Arthur a special sensation, making watching tv more pleasurable.
