Chapter 24 Go With Amanda

Arthur was quite surprised by himself, why did he feel strange with his aunt. He wondered if it was because he had been in the other world too long that the way he looked at Isabel was no longer completely pure.

Arriving at his room, he locked the door tightly, turned off the light, climbed into bed, and began to meditate. He hopes to get into the magic world again, which unfortunately doesn't make it until morning comes.

It's Sunday morning, the air seems fresher.

Arthur woke up quite late. When he opened the window, he saw Carla and Bella had just finished jogging. The former looked relaxed while the latter looked like she might pass out at any moment. Arriving in the yard, she immediately lay down, breathing fast with her eyes staring at the sky. As for Carla, she went to the backyard.

Arthur first saw Bella working out and he didn't know why she suddenly worked out today. Nor was he interested in finding out.

After opening all the windows, he went to the bathroom. Just now he received a message from Amanda, that she was on her way here.

Today, he was wearing long jeans with a white shirt. His hair was left a bit messy as he exited his room.

His gaze then fell to his aunt's room. Through the spiritual bird in her body, he discovered she was still in a deep sleep. It was rare for her to wake up late, so the spell was clearly still affecting her.

He thought it was good for her since she did need more rest, so he decided to let her continue sleeping.

As he was on his way out of the house, a Black Lamborghini pulled up in front of the house.

Bella who was lying down couldn't help but be surprised. She quickly stood up, looking at the figure of the white-haired woman who got off the Lamborghini.

She was wearing long jeans and a casual gray T-shirt, tight enough that her curves stood out while her hair was in a ponytail, not leaving a single strand to cover her long white neck.

"Amanda, why are you here?" Bella asked thinking she had come to pick her up. This kind of thing usually happened when there was a family business, something she didn't like.

Amanda looked at her calmly and replied, "don't worry, I'm not here for you."

Her gaze moved towards the door of the house after she said that. Bella followed her gaze, surprised when she saw Arthur coming out neatly dressed.

"What happened here?" She wondered.

Supposedly, she would have called Amanda, told her about Arthur. But now, it seems the two of them have an agreement.

Arthur who had arrived in front of Amanda said, "I thought you would come with your two subordinates."

He stared at her Lamborghini which was basically just for two people.

"It's Sunday, so they also have the day off, let's go!" Amanda answered, turning around to get into her car.

Before Arthur got into the passenger seat of the Lamborghini, Bella asked him. "Arthur, where are you guys going?"

"Should be where the people who sells tigers is," Arthur answered calmly.

"When did you talk to her?" Bella asked again in a hurry because Arthur had started to climb into the car.

"Last night! Anyways, tell Carla later" Arthur said.

After that, he closed the door of the Lamborghini. It immediately accelerated, leaving Bella alone, still looking confused.

Carla came not long after with a wet body, she still managed to see the Lamborghini in the distance and knew that it was Amanda's car.

"Why did she come?" She asked Bella.

The latter replied, "Arthur went with her."

"Arthur?"

In the car, Amanda asked Arthur "have you had breakfast?"

"Not yet," Arthur answered, leaning back in the chair.

Amanda studied him, certain that this was his first time in a Lamborghini, but he was surprisingly calm, not awkward or amazed, unlike herself, who was full of admiration despite growing up in luxury.

"I haven't had breakfast either, it's been quite a long trip, so let's have breakfast first," she said. She looked left and right, looking for a good restaurant.

"We'd better have breakfast in the car," Arthur replied. He's the type that doesn't like to stop for too long on the go.

Amanda didn't reject his suggestion, she stopped her car in front of a restaurant that wasn't too big. Then, she took out a 100 Euro bill from her pocket and handed it to Arthur.

This is not a restaurant where the customer has to get off the car, you can basically buy through your car window and the stand just happens to be on the side of the passenger window.

Arthur took the money from Amanda's hand then handed it to the young woman standing at the stand.

"Give me two buns, five eggs and two cups of warm milk," Arthur told her.

The woman was a little surprised to see the man and woman in the Lamborghini, but she was quite professional, moving quickly after hearing Arthur's words.

"Wait a moment sir!" She said, writing down Arthur's order and handing it to her friend.

The restaurant had everything prepared from scratch, so it didn't take long for Arthur's order to be ready.

"Here, sir, and here's the change." The young woman handed Arthur a large plastic bag and some bills.

On the other hand, Amanda said "just take the change!"

Right after she said that, the young woman immediately withdrew her hand that was holding the money, tucking them into her pocket.

"Thank you," she told Amanda.

Arthur having no interest in commenting on her behavior, he picked up the plastic bag, placed it on his thigh.

As Amanda stepped on the accelerator of her car, she couldn't help but ask. "I only need one egg, are you going to eat the remaining four?"

"Yeah," Arthur replied, making Amanda's expression turn odd.

"You eat so much but your body is quite thin, then where do the nutrients you eat go?" She wondered. Subconsciously, she glanced at Arthur's thigh and perhaps seemed to remember something.

"Ah, I think so. My friend once said that a man who eats a lot but is still thin means that most of the nutrients go to his third leg."

"Maybe," Arthur answered very calmly. That she spoke dirty did not cause any ripples in his heart.

Amanda had actually said that on purpose because she wanted to see Arthur at least be awkward, something that was usually normal but didn't seem like it would appear in his current self anymore.

She rolled her eyes, thinking of what other words to say as she still didn't give up.

However, while she was thinking, Arthur who didn't seem like he was going to speak suddenly said something. "Want to try it?"

"What?" Amanda almost jumped in surprise, even accidentally turning the steering wheel, almost crashing into the pavement.

"Don't speak dirty things if you're afraid of it," said Arthur with an expression like mocking her.

"You?" Amanda couldn't show any expression other than froze.
