The Demon and His Lover (1)

Anna stood on one side of the ring, opposite Leon.

In the past, Leon stood by her side to teach her. Standing opposite her in this “fight” with her, was a very novel experience for her.

Of course, for Leon, this probably couldn’t even be considered a fight.

“It’s time to start.” Leon smiled at Anna, and as his words fell, the staff under the ring started timing.

Within three minutes, the test taker needed to attack the proctor as much as possible. The proctor would only defend and dodge, but would not fight back. During these three minutes, the proctor would score the test taker according to their actual combat performance.

After Leon said to begin, Anna formed a ball of lightning in her palm and ran towards Leon while throwing it out.

Her fighting style was practiced with the demon, so there was his shadow everywhere. If you couldn’t land a hit from a distance, then use close combat, use various spells from various angles, block, sneak attack…

Anna had affinity for six elements. She was highly talented and learned each spell quickly, so she had learned all the spells she could at this stage, including some one-star mage spells.

The six colors of those six elements flashed continuously in the arena, making the young mage’s disciples under the stage bewildered.

They were still children of about ten years old, and they had not learned spells for too long. Although people among them in the group had multiple affinities for the elements, even one with affinity for seven elements, their talent was far less than Anna’s. A lot of energy would be spent to master a single spell. Anna’s six elements took turns to play, and she was tossing out spells as if it didn’t require mental power. The sound and light special effects were to the max. They had never seen something like this before in the promotion assessment of a mage’s disciple, and couldn’t take their eyes away.

Wind Gathering to increase speed, adjusting direction, lightning strike in an open attack, golden arrows suddenly emerging from the ground, condensing water and doing a sneak attack, surrounding the enemy with flames, using the light element every time she got close enough to give her enemy a burning pain…

In these three minutes, Anna did not reserve her mental power, and she fought with high spirits. When the time came to an end, her mental power was almost exhausted.

Looking at Leon again, although he did not go easy on Anna, he seemed to be unharmed, but his hair was a little messy, and some strands were even burnt, which was proof of a successful sneak attack by Anna.

He smiled and gave Anna a look of admiration.

Anna was a little out of breath, smiled at Leon, bowed and said, “Thank you Mage Leon for your guidance.”

When she used the Wind Gathering Technique to step down from the ring, there was a sudden applause from the audience. At first there were a few sparse claps, and then it merged into one. She looked at the applauding children, their eyes were full of admiration, and their clapping palms even turned red.

Anna smiled a little embarrassedly. It felt good to be worshiped by a group of children.

She walked in front of Natalie and laughed: “What are you clapping for, it’s your turn.”

“Anna, you are so cool!” Natalie giggled and ran to prepare to go up the stage.

After Natalie left, a few more daring mage’s disciples gathered around and asked, “Mage Anna, how did you cast that fire spell just now? It’s amazing!”

“Yes, yes, and also that…”

There was no quota limit for the promotion examination. All the mage’s disciples participating in the examination were not in a competitive relationship, so they were relatively harmonious with each other.

Anna thought of Leon’s patience with beginners, and she wanted to pay forward this patience, so she answered them patiently one by one, until the demon suddenly pushed aside the little mage’s disciples that were still surrounding her, grabbed her wrist and dragged her out the circle.

Compared with Anna’s friendly appearance, Rothgarr’s ruthless face was really scary, and the mage’s disciples didn’t dare to chase after her when they saw the two-star mage badge on his chest.

“No need to thank me.” Rothgarr said coldly after dragging Anna out of the circle.

Anna: “…” Like hell I’d thank you.

She didn’t fight with the demon because Natalie was already down by now.

When Anna was answering the questions from the little mage’s disciples, she still looked at the ring from time to time, and knew roughly how Natalie performed.

Natalie trained with her, and her actual combat naturally had traces of demon, only Natalie’s talent was not strong. She had less affinity for the elements and less tactical flexibility, but this would not be a problem to pass the actual combat.

“Anna, I’m done too!” Natalie ran over excitedly. Originally, she wanted to hug Anna’s arm, but seeing “Mage Raymond” on the side, she didn’t dare to make trouble, and withdrew her hand embarrassingly.

“I’ve seen it all, you did well!” Anna gave a thumbs up.

Natalie nodded again and again and said happily, “I’ll definitely pass this time!”

“Absolutely!” Anna was also happy for Natalie.

In the shade of the trees on the other side, two beautiful girls were looking at the martial arts field.

“Margo, I still can’t move on from Leon.” Grace bit her lower lip and said, “I refuse to accept it!”

Magnolia held the thick fan in her hand, tapping it on her lips lightly, and chuckled: “If I were you, I wouldn’t be willing to lose to a commoner.”

Grace’s resentful eyes fell on the commoner woman who was chatting and laughing with Natalie and Raymond outside the ring. The woman named Anna was so close to Leon in the ring, she was mad with jealousy. Although Leon kept saying that his divorce had nothing to do with Anna, how could she believe it?

“But, what can I do? I can’t do anything!” Grace said in pain, covering her face.

Magnolia held Grace’s shoulders, soothed her gently, and whispered in her ear, “It’s not impossible…”

Grace turned her head abruptly and grabbed Magnolia’s hand tightly: “Please tell me!”

Magnolia didn’t care about the slight pain in her hand, she touched the ruby pendant on her neck and showed a charming smile.
