One Star Mage Promotion Assessment (4)

“Won’t you be bored waiting for us to finish the exam?” Anna was still reluctant to let him wait on her to finish the exam. It felt too strange. “We’re going to be taking the exam for the whole day, so you’d better go.”

Rothgarr originally had a very shallow smile on his face, but when he was chased away by Anna, the smile disappeared, and he said calmly, “Why must you chase me away? You want me to move out of the way for someone else?”

Anna was speechless. She waved her hand and said, “Okay, you can wait as long as you like. Anyway, it’s not me who will be bored.”

Rothgarr snorted coldly and sat down beside Anna.

Anna and Natalie arrived a little early. They grabbed a bench outside the meditation room, and when Rothgarr sat down, the bench instantly became crowded.

Anna glanced sideways at Rothgarr, and he looked back calmly.

The clock on the wall of the meditation room showed that it was 9:45 in the morning. It was still early before the start of the mental strength assessment.

Rothgarr looked at Anna’s profile without hesitation. He suddenly remembered that the first time he saw her, she did not look very good because of long-term malnutrition.

But now, her skin was much fairer and more delicate, her complexion was also very good, and she was in high spirits because of her power, and all this made it hard to look away from her.

He thought, fortunately, she left Blue Stone City, otherwise he would not have seen such a real her.

The Anna in Black Cloud City was much more interesting than her appearance in Blue Stone City.

At 10:30, the meditation room No. 1 and No. 2, which were the examination rooms, were already crowded with people. At the entrance, the staff of the Association began to call out for test takers No. 1 and No. 2 to enter the two meditation rooms to take the assessment, while the rest retreated quietly, waiting a few meters away.

After less than 20 minutes, it was Anna’s turn. She quickly got up and entered meditation room eight, pointed out by the staff.

She breathed a sigh of relief that she was able to enter the examination room so quickly. The feeling of having the demon stare at her was too scary, like some kind of horror movie with a dark and eerie tone.

And Natalie, who hadn’t had her turn yet, sat there stiffly, praying silently in her heart: Please be my turn, please be my turn… Mage Raymond don’t talk to me… please be my turn!

She had never wished it was her turn before so eagerly on an exam!

When she heard the staff call No. 9, Natalie was overjoyed and rushed over.

Anna came out after three minutes in the meditation room. The proctor selected three spells based on her element affinity, and asked her to cast two of them. She chose the wind gathering technique and the lightning technique, and cast them quickly and concisely.

After seeing the admiration on the proctor’s face, Anna knew that she had done well.

Natalie came out shortly after, not very nervous.

“I should be able to pass, but may not get a high score.” Natalie said.

“It’s fine as long as you pass. It’s not like you can get a refund on your exam fee by scoring high.” Anna joked, “Let’s go, let’s get food.”

It was eleven o’clock now, and the cafeteria had started serving lunch.

Anna saw more people who looked like servants. They must have come to deliver lunch to their respective masters. After all, she was in the minority who dragged Natalie along with her to eat in the cafeteria every day.

After having lunch and resting for a while, the three walked to the potion lab.

After realizing that the demon would be following her for the day, Anna stopped resisting. If he wanted to be a parent of a college student, she would let him be.

The potion assessment was not a problem for Anna either. The proctor chose a potion she could make based on her affinity and asked her to prepare it on the spot.

In fact, just from this point of view, if you had an affinity to many elements, it would be a disadvantage. The same was true for the previous mental strength test. The more affinity for elements, the more potions that needed to be prepared, and the wider range of potions that candidates had to be familiar with.

However, this kind of “loss” did not exist for a Grade A student.

Anna started the preparation of the potion without thinking about it. After about ten minutes, the potion for sleep aid was successfully prepared.

Taking in the exclamation on the proctor’s face after examining the potion, Anna left with satisfaction.

Natalie was in a good mood when she walked out of the exam room. She also said, “I was tested by Mage Dawkins!”

Anna raised her eyebrows: “Don’t you need to avoid him?”

“Ah? Why avoid him?” Natalie asked in confusion.

After thinking about it, Anna was relieved. The Mage Association had only so few people, and many people knew each other. If they wanted to avoid suspicions, they might not even be able to find a suitable proctor. And it was just a promotion assessment to a one-star mage, no one would cheat on it.

The last subject was actual combat. When she saw that the person standing in the ring was Leon, Anna was not surprised.

Speaking of which, she didn’t seem to have gone up against Leon yet.

Rothgarr, who followed, turned a little dark when he saw Leon, and when he saw Anna’s eyes gleam when she looked at Leon, his expression became even more ugly.

“So happy to see Leon?” Rothgarr snorted coldly.

Anna turned her head and frowned, “Of course, just as happy as the time at the line of life and death when you stood there and let me come at you.”

After saying this, Anna pulled Natalie forward. The actual combat portion was slightly different. Candidates could choose to go first, and those who wanted to go were on a first-come-first-serve basis. Anna planned to take the exam first so she could go home after.

Rothgarr frowned.

How did the special training on the line of life and death from Anna’s mouth turn into him standing there stupidly and letting her beat him?

Was she saying, she was happy when she beat him up?

Rothgarr was puzzled.

Looking at Anna’s excited appearance on stage, he realized that Leon and him were tools for her to spar with, and magic still ranked first in her heart.

But aside from magic, his position in Anna’s heart was obviously much higher than that of Leon’s, at least Anna tried to kiss him.
