Obviously Very Happy (1)

When Anna woke up from her blackout, she found that she no longer felt any residual pain in her left shoulder.

Then she found herself lying on her side on the carriage seat with the meditating demon sitting opposite her.

She touched the location of the wound again, making sure there was no pain, and then she sat up straight.

Rothgarr opened his eyes and looked at Anna, who still had a tired look on her face.

Although she had just woken up, Anna still felt sleepy. She couldn’t help covering her mouth and yawning. She gently wiped away the physiological tears from the corners of her eyes, feeling her head still ached.

A good rest wouldn’t restore all her mental power; she still needed to meditate.

“Thank you for saving me, I’m going to find Natalie.” Anna said. Just as she was about to get out of the car, Anna was stopped by the demon, who raised his hand.

He said displeased: “Natalie is fine.”

“I didn’t think she wouldn’t, but now it’s time for me to go back.” Anna glanced at the sky, it was already dark. She didn’t think that she would sleep for so long, probably five or six hours.

Rothgarr glanced at the small table, and said with a cold face, “Eat first before leaving.”

Anna followed his line of sight to see a lot of food on the small table, and immediately felt hungry.

Holy Healing could speed up the healing of wounds, but the light element itself could not provide the raw materials for cell recovery. In the end, a lot of energy was burned up from the human body itself, so now Anna was so hungry that her stomach was twitching.

“Thank you then.” Anna rinsed her hands with clean water, and then directly grabbed various nutrient-rich foods and stuffed them into her mouth.

After eating about half the table of food, Anna felt that her stomach was full and she felt much better.

Only then did she look at the demon: “Aren’t you going to eat?”

Rothgarr replied, “I ate already.”

He said as if confirming: “When you were taken away by the three-headed demonic eagle, you called for me.”

This was nothing big to admit, so Anna nodded and said, “Yes, you said you would protect me.”

“It’s good that you remember.” Rothgarr’s mouth curled into a smile, and he added, “Don’t go to anyone else.”

“I won’t.” Anna didn’t refute. When encountering such a dangerous situation, of course she would handle it herself if she could, and if she couldn’t, she would find him. She knew that he was very powerful, and she didn’t feel guilty for involving him in these things.

After all, if it wasn’t for his presence that made her always anxious, she wouldn’t be in such a hurry to cultivate herself, nor would she come to risk her life at the line of life and death less than two months after becoming a mage’s discipline.

She knew that she was running out of time, and she had no idea how much time was left in front of her. She had no psychological guilt from taking advantage of the demon.

Seeing that Anna agreed so succinctly, Rothgarr’s mood suddenly improved. When Anna proposed to find Natalie again, he did not stop her.

As soon as Natalie saw Anna, she rushed over to see her injury, and was persuaded by Anna to sit down.

She was still wearing the demon’s mage robe. Anna touched it. The texture was the same, but his was inlaid with a lot of hollow crystals, which was much more advanced than her mage robe. Hers was only worth a gold coin and could only be oil and water repellent.

Anna took off the mage robe. Natalie saw the big hole in the robe on her left shoulder, and couldn’t help covering her mouth. Although there was no wound there, she knew how serious the injury she had suffered was just by looking at the torn cloth.

Anna saw Natalie’s terrified and pitiful eyes, and then looked at the really big hole on the left shoulder, and quickly explained: “Actually, the wound was not as big as you see here. Raymon tore it open to help heal me.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw that Natalie’s face looked off. She blushed and her eyes were dodging a little, and she stammered: “So, so that’s what happened…”

Anna: “…”

She looked down at her half-exposed shoulder, shrugged and gave up explaining herself.

Fortunately, Anna came with a change of clothes. She took off the riding clothes that could no longer be worn and put on new ones.

She pondered that when she returned to Black Cloud City, she would have to go to that women’s clothing store and buy five or six pieces at a time.

“Natalie, were you injured?” Anna said to Natalie as she changed her clothes.

Natalie looked a little shy when she looked at Anna’s straightforward appearance. She avoided her gaze and said, “No, Mage Leon protected me all the way.”

As she said that, she was a little sad: “Fortunately you’re alright, Anna. Otherwise, I would hate myself for only being a burden!”

Anna paused in her movements and said with a smile: “If you put it that way, then I am also a burden to Raymond. There are some things that no one can predict. You don’t need to blame yourself for it. Look, I didn’t blame myself for asking Raymond to save me. You should learn from me!”

Natalie was amused by Anna’s smug tone, and her self-guilt did dissipate a little.

After Anna changed her clothes, she started to meditate and regain her mental strength.

About half an hour later, there was a knock on the door of their carriage. The coachman of Natalie’s family said from outside, “Miss Natalie, Mage Leon asked you and Mage Anna to come over to discuss something.”

Natalie responded, her eyes opened when she looked at Anna again.
