Can’t Be Impulsive (1)

For a moment, Anna really wanted to push the demon away angrily and run away, but she held back this urge.

She didn’t forget what she was here for; no matter how many “difficulties” she encountered, she still had to overcome them, even if this “difficulty” really made her want to go crazy.

Anna’s upper arm was grasped, but her hand was free. Anna raised her right hand and placed it on the demon’s chest, as if subconsciously. She raised her head and smiled at him: “Thank you, you can let me go now.”

Rothgarr let go of Anna right away, and watched her go back to her original spot to continue preparing for the next try.

In Rothgarr‘s eyes, the biggest threat to the bet was the fact that Anna might be into women. The worries about the bet, coupled with some unspeakable irritability made him a little restless even until now. He had almost never experienced this feeling before, and became even more irritable after realizing this fact.

Such emotions took up his entire mental space. He paid only a little attention to catching Anna during her practice; even catching her and keeping count was all  done subconsciously.

However, when Anna nearly fell into his arms for the second time, Rothgarr finally registered it somewhat.

Was she flirting with him?

Rothgarr had suffered a loss in his judgment on this matter, so he was not sure at the moment. He did not confirm this until Anna fell into his arms for the third time.

Because he relaxed a little bit of his control over Anna this time, she threw herself directly into his arms, and her soft body slammed into his hard chest.

If it happened once it could be considered a coincidence, but now it had happened three times in succession.

Rothgarr was very sure that Anna was seducing him now.

But why?

It took Rothgarr two months to confirm Anna’s passion for magic and her harshness towards men. It was also today that he suddenly realized she was very friendly to women.

For Anna to seduce him, there had to be a reason.

Rothgarr thought for a moment about what advantages this body could offer her. He revisited what happened today, and suddenly understood something.

Anna needed him to teach her, but his teaching method today was too harsh for her, and she couldn’t stand it, so she wanted to let him continue to teach her more slowly.

After realizing this, Rothgarr felt a little bit of anger in his heart, and couldn’t help but sneer. Was this trivial matter worth her tempting to seduce him?

After understanding Anna’s intentions, Rothgarr looked at Anna’s actions again, and suddenly found that she seemed to be hiding her skills. He had taught her for an entire afternoon and was very clear about her current level of magic. She would not need to practice such a simple spell for this long.

Everything became clear.

When Anna fell for the fourth time, Rothgarr changed his previous actions. He no longer grasped her at the arms, but instead wrapped his hands around her waist. When she leaned back due to the inertia, Rothgarr also supported her with his other hand on the small of her back.

At this moment, Anna’s body was leaning backwards at a slight arc. She lifted her eyes slightly to see an expression she could not make out on the face of the demon.

She thought that the present posture was dramatic enough; she hadn’t performed so many times in vain after all.

But she felt that something was not quite right.

Rothgarr met Anna’s clear eyes, which seemed both innocent and charming. He paused on what he was about to say, as if he forgot what he was going to say.

He frowned, pulled back his thoughts, and said, “Your performance is really bad.”

Anna was taken aback.

What exactly did he mean by performance? Was it possible that he knew she could see him?

As long as it wasn’t about this, Anna could be completely calm. She calmly said, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

Rothgarr lifted his lips and sneered. He exposed her mercilessly: “Weren’t you trying to seduce me by deliberately falling down again and again?”

Anna felt relieved; he finally understood it!

If he still didn’t understand that she was seducing him, she would go crazy. Acting was too tiring!

Anna relaxed in her heart, but her mouth was still stubborn: “Don’t talk nonsense, I am obviously…”

Before she could finish her words, the demon suddenly tightened his arms around her waist. He stared at her condescendingly while preventing her from speaking: “It’s useless to quibble. I taught you all afternoon; you and I both know what your magic level is.”

Anna was now completely relying on the demon’s arm to hold herself up. As soon as he released her, she would have intimate contact with the ground, which gave her an uneasy feeling.

Meeting the eyes of the demon, she realized something. Wasn’t this the affectionate position she was pursuing before? But it felt like the situation was not right…

Before Anna could come up with a reason, Rothgarr continued: “You don’t have to tell the story of some seven-year-old boy. If you feel tired from the training and want me to relax my standards, you can tell me directly.”

Anna instinctively asked: “Would you listen if I told you directly?”

Rothgarr thought in his heart, it really was about this matter, and grinned: “You can try.”

Anna suddenly came to her senses. Wait, her current focus was not on the training during the daytime. Even though she was tired, she could keep going through gritted teeth. She wasn’t someone who didn’t know chalk from cheese. She was very clear that the training had a very good effect on improving her individual combat level.

She was almost led off track by this demon!

However, now that the topic was already in this direction, how could she get them back on track?

Anna decided to take a risk, but based on her knowledge of the demon, this risk was not high.

After the demon finished speaking, she did not answer, but looked in his eyes instead. Silently staring at each other would undoubtedly increase the ambiguous mood.
