Scamming the Demon (4)

Rothgarr didn’t know that he used the wrong information to reach the wrong conclusion. He glanced at the note, suppressed his good mood and said indifferently, “That matter was half a month ago. ”

“Yeah, so what?” Anna said with a smile, holding a note in one hand, “Doesn’t it take only a word from you to make it count?”

Rothgarr looked at Anna who was smiling knowingly, even a little slyly, in front of him, and suddenly remembered the Anna who was at least superficially respectful to him when she was still in the Earls’ Mansion in Blue Rock City.

She hides so deeply.

Rothgarr wanted to refuse first, but he suddenly felt that if he refused at this time, she might turn around and leave, so after weighing his options, he said flatly: “We set out tomorrow.”

Then he turned around and left.

Anna returned to Natalie’s side. Natalie didn’t hear the conversation between the two, she only saw their expressions and movements. She couldn’t help but ask worriedly: “Mage Raymond didn’t agree?”

Seeing the extremely cold expression of “Raymond” from a distance, and the way the two of them left without a word, Natalie inevitably considered the worst.

“He explained that we will set off the next day.” Anna smiled, “I told you, it’s too easy!”

Natalie didn’t expect things to go so smoothly, and she couldn’t help laughing happily.

Before returning home that day, Anna took Natalie to the task bulletin to pick and choose, and selected some tasks that mage disciples could complete.

It was not everyday she could bring a “bodyguard” with her near the line of life and death. Of course, she wanted to maximize the benefits of this trip.

The next day, Anna came to the association and was stopped by Natalie before she even stepped in: “Anna, over here!”

In the past, Natalie used to wear a skirt under her mage robe, but today, she changed into pants and her blonde hair was tied up, looking energetic.

But……

“Is it so troublesome for your nobles to go out?” Anna looked at the carriage that Natalie had jumped off of, and couldn’t help but sigh.

Natalie leaned over and said in a low voice, “I told my father that Mage Raymond invited a few mages to the line of life and death. My father was so happy that he arranged for me the best carriage we own.”

She pouted her lips: “He must be happy that I can meet Mage Raymond, and he also hinted to me that if I can marry Raymond, I don’t have to marry the old man. I don’t want to marry anyone, I just want to be a one-star mage!”

“Good ambition! Of course you can do it.” After Anna encouraged Natalie, she looked around and saw a more luxurious carriage not far away.

She motioned for Natalie to head back to the carriage and wait for her, and then she walked straight to the luxurious carriage.

Anna tapped on the carriage window, and the window opened, revealing “Raymond”‘s handsome side profile.

“Mage Raymond, everyone’s here, can we set off now?” Anna raised her head slightly and asked.

Rothgarr frowned, and his slender fingers pointed ahead. He said with dissatisfaction in his voice: “What’s up with that?”

According to his idea, he of course was just planning on taking Anna out to hunt demonic creatures. He knew that she wanted to make money, so using this method to help her achieve her goal would of course make her be grateful to him.

But why was there one more person?

“Ah? Natalie and I have always done specialized training together.” Although Anna understood the meaning of demon, she was pretending to be ignorant. “And, don’t you want a handyman? Isn’t it good to have an extra handyman? ”

Rothgarr stared at Anna with a cold face for a few seconds, then closed the carriage window shut with a slam.

After a while, he heard Anna say, as if unaware that he was angry, “Then, you can start off first and Natalie and I will follow.”

Then, the sound of her footsteps went away.

There was a sickly sweet scent in the carriage. Rothgarr didn’t like this type of viscous scent, but in order to make Anna grateful to him in all aspects, he had the chef at home rush early in the morning to prepare a platter of dessert assortments that all the girls loved to eat.

At this moment, the brightly colored and beautiful desserts that were exuding a rich aroma were lying quietly on the elegant porcelain plates, yet the owner who should be enjoying them was on another carriage.

Rothgarr waved his fingers slightly, and a golden light flashed, knocking over the desserts, and the aroma in the carriage became sweeter.

He even prepared a soft pillow for Anna!

In the next second, the pillow was also split in half with a golden light, and the down feathers floated down in the carriage.
