Anna quickly noticed the complexion of the demon. The paleness on his face was as if he could fall down at any time.

Anna was now regarded as a mage disciple. She suddenly remembered that there was a fierce battle here last night. The Holy Son had probably put up fierce resistance before being possessed by the demon, so the possibility of his mental power being damaged was very large.

And under this circumstance of damaged mental strength, in order to prevent his physical injuries from affecting her literacy, the demon forcefully used magic to speed up the self-healing of his wound.

Thinking of this, Anna felt torn.

If she didn't know that there was a demon hiding in the body in front of her, she would probably be touched by him doing this.

Anna didn’t care if the demon lived or died. She didn’t think that the death of the possessed person would affect the demon, but she cared about the Holy Son's body.

Moreover, she was sent by Madam Mary to take care of the Holy Son's body. If the Holy Son’s health worsened under her care, how could she explain it? She didn't want to be kicked out of the earl estate for the time being.

Anna pulled on the night robes that demon had torn off, and helped him to lie down.

Rothgarr closed his eyes slightly. Victor's mental power was far more damaged than Ulysses. Ulysses' mental power healed very quickly after he possessed him. When he left his body last night, Ulysses had already recovered for the most part.

Of course, if you gave him a few more days, Victor's mental power would quickly recover. But now, what should be uncomfortable was indeed uncomfortable.

He didn't want to speak for fear of throwing up, so he didn't say anything at all.

Anna placed the demon and sat down silently.

After who knows how long,  Anna saw that it was almost noon. The demon was still asleep, so she quietly left and went back to the kitchen.

After answering Rebecca's question about how the Holy Son was, Anna ate lunch. Then, she prepared the demon's lunch, and walked back.

Unexpectedly, she saw Ulysses again in the garden.

Anna didn't want to disturb him, so she made a slight deviation, but Ulysses seemed to be waiting for her and walked straight over.

Anna could only stop and salute.

Ulysses was in a bad mood all day today. Anyone who woke up and found that they had lost a few days of memories would not be happy.

What made him particularly upset was that the people around him revealed that when he was amnesiac for a few days, he was like a whole different person.

This morning, Parrish, who had not had any interaction with him, suddenly ran to his residence as if they had a really close relationship and asked him why Ulysses hadn’t been over at Parrish’s place today. Parrish said that Ulysses was putting women before friends, and didn’t go because Anna hadn’t gone.

He was perfunctory with Parrish, and when the latter left, Ulysses asked his servant Fergie to tell him what he had done these past few days, not caring if he gave anything away. Fergie didn't ask why, and told him everything he knew.

Ulysses was very surprised by what "he"did in the past few days, which all revolved around a maid named Anna. He waited here special, prepared to ask a few more questions, wanting to get to the bottom of everything.

Because Anna was a profiteer during his period of amnesia, Ulysses intuitively felt that she had done something, and was naturally hostile to her.

"What did you do?" he asked, looking at Anna.

Anna knew very well that Ulysses looking for her in the morning was just the start, and she was mentally prepared. Being interrogated by him at this moment, she knew exactly what he was asking after, but she still looked confused: "Master Ulysses, what do you mean?"

"Don't pretend to be confused with me." Ulysses said coldly.

"Master Ulysses, I really don't understand what you are referring to." Anna said, aggrievedly, "Please make it clear."

Anna was helpless and depressed. She didn't want things to be like this either, but she still had to clean up the news that the demon made. Otherwise, the demon could dust his hands off and leave, but she couldn't!

Ulysses saw that Anna was really unsure, and decided not to beat around the bush, using facts to make her unable to deflect.

Ulysses said impatiently: "Teaching you to read, giving you jewelry and skirts, I have no memory of these things. How did you do it?"

Anna quickly protested: "Master Ulysses, the matter of teaching me literacy is right, but as for the jewelry and skirts, I didn’t want them and you burned them all!"
