951 Runge Said: Let’s Have a Talk

Runge came even faster than Lu Jingye expected. When Justin learned the news of his arrival and informed Lu Jingye about this, Runge’s call had already arrived.

Runge said to Lu Jingye over the phone, “Let’s have a talk.”

Lu Jingye only considered for two seconds before he personally went out to fetch Runge.

When both the men walked back into the winery, Zi Yi was standing at the door waiting for them.

Runge gave Zi Yi a brief nod. His expression was still as cold as usual.

Similarly, Zi Yi returned his brief nod with one of her own, but she suddenly then asked, “Have you eaten?”

Runge was stunned and subconsciously responded. “Not yet.”

Zi Yi turned around and said, “It just so happens that we are going to have a meal. Come on in.”

Runge walked in together with Lu Jingye with a taut expression.

Lunch was filled with Chinese dishes. Runge had some difficulty with the chopsticks, so he ended up eating with a spoon.

Runge had encountered the worm race twice. Now that he was bringing them up, it was as though he was talking about normal terrorists. “The ultimate goal of those worms is to deal with you, am I right?”

“That’s right.” Zi Yi did not deny it either. “Even if you know the truth; so what? The current situation is that the virus is rapidly spreading around the whole of Europe. It may not be long before the situation in Europe ends up similar to those movies where zombies occupy the whole area.”

Runge’s expression turned colder at her words. However, his gaze was even more determined. “I trust that you have a way to control this virus.”

Lu Jingye said, “Deal.”

With that, he hung up the call and said to them, “This will require some time.”

“Yes.”

Runge did not say anything else but instead, he asked, “Are you able to find evidence that you weren’t the ones who planted the virus?”

Lu Jingye told Runge whatever he should know.

Runge stared at the map and sometime later, he said, “If I go there too and cause some trouble, then release some news and help you buy some time, will you be able to create the antidote ahead of time?”

“As long as your aerospace department is capable enough.”

“Can you modify the spaceship from a distance?”

“Yes.”

Runge nodded his head and took out his phone again to make a call.

Only then did Zi Yi and Lu Jingye learn that Runge had thoroughly grabbed the reins of the National Space Agency in his country after they left. Right now, everyone has to listen to him.
