After his powerful display in the Dominator Tournament, Horny Assassin already established a place for himself among the elite players of the Blue Brook Guild. There were even rumors that the Sword God was thinking of recruiting him.

It was a pity that the Blue Autumn team didn't make it to the finals of the first National Dominator team tournament, but it didn't affect him much.

"I can't wait for the day that you both become superstars of the Blue Autumn team". His eyes became dreamy. "And from what I heard; the International tournaments shall start in the next version".

A sheepish expression crept up his face. "You winning it for us will be a great cap to my long career as guild leader".

"I will be remembered as the one who scouted the legends, hahaha".

"I will be glad". Blue River chuckled.

Horny Assassin and Ghost Sentry laughed.

All of a sudden, Ghost Sentry asked a question. "Do you guys have any idea what the theme of the next version would be?"

Blue River rubbed his chin. "I'm not sure but judging from the first limited trailer, I guess it has something to do with space travel".

"It's kinda crazy how Dominator seems intent on introducing sci-fi elements, I already suspected it before but still it's crazy". Horny Assassin sounded excited. "I've always wanted to leave my planet and travel through space".

"Since I can't do it back on Earth, perhaps experiencing it here is all the same". The others laughed to that.

After a few more idle talk, the time finally came for them to leave.

"Till Version 2". They waved each other their goodbyes.

Planet Darvis, in a remote mountain range…

Planet Darvis may be a planet that didn't really take the mechanic route development due to the lack of mechanic class knowledges, but this did not change the fact that technology still found a loophole to thrive.

The Mercenary Online Organization was the true pioneer of technology.

They were not as proficient as the weakest Grade E Mechanic, but with the little knowledge that they had, they were able to work with it.

Over the years, the mercenaries had come into contact with different minerals exhibiting special qualities.

They had also come into contact with Arcanite metal before but due to their lacking means, they were unable to detect its real value until the battle of Hellfire Mountains and Alexander's shocking reveal.

Instantly after the conclusion of the battle of Hellfire Mountains, Core Protector Shanks now President Shanks led the way with them following as they made it a priority to detect the location of veins of the so-called Arcanite metal.

Like they suspected, it was close to Hellfire Mountains, this remote mountain range was one of the few mountain ranges that surrounded the previous headquarters of the Clown Society.

Instantly after they discovered it, Shanks left the Mercenary Online Organization in charge of mining it. Now that he finally became President, he took it a step further as he commissioned the construction of a mining base.

President Shanks did not just want to mine this metal, he wanted scientists to study and know it's properties, he had a hunch that it would play an indispensable role in their quest to resist the coming cataclysm.

With the amount of funding that the President pumped into this endeavor, it only took a week to complete the construction of the mining base.

Now, mining operations were in full swing.

Unknown to the enthusiastic workers who were working in this base, mostly comprised of Earth Elementalists and Summoners, an automatic Rifle was aimed at them as it's user watched everything that happened through the Rifle's lens.

Crow scowled. "We found it first but we have no choice".

"Right now, we don't have the power to fight them".

​ He turned to look at his leader. "What should we do?"

The leader of the 6 Ninja Assassins, Buffalo had an impassive expression on his face, he soon inclined his face away from his Rifle's lens.

"We do nothing".

He turned to face Crow. "Like you said, we don't have the power to fight them so all we can do is tell the leader".

"Ok".

With that, the 2 elite assassins disappeared as silently as they came.
