This was a mission that was not pasted in the mission room, it was a custom mission that was personally given to them by a previous customer of theirs.

In 6 months, the Monster Triad assassin unit was not idle. They already built a credible reputation after months of being in the assassin business.

Custom missions started coming when their unit rank increased multiple times within the short period of just 6 months, a record-breaking run.

Without hesitation, Blade accepted the mission and left with Christensen.

At a hotel, Legolas took a hot bath while his 2 students were out doing what he had no idea about, and this was when he received the virtual notification.

"They've started again!"

He finally read the remaining parts of the virtual interface notification.

The mission rewards alone left Legolas's eyes as wide as lanterns.

Not only that, but also due to the identity of the assassination target. Beast traffickers were a thing in Planet Darvis who were far more predominant than human traffickers, they became a thing like 4 months ago.

During the past 6 months, even as the Monster Triad assassination unit thrived, a lot of things went on in the planet.

The Clown Society was mostly quiet for the most part but due to the stubborn influence of King Tom, they became free to expand in the dark.

The Clown's preaching was influential, every day, more and more civilians and superhumans fell to the dark side. This was when beast traffickers became a thing, humans who trafficked beasts for crazy psychotic scientists like the Clown.

The more the Clown learned about alien machines, the more he proliferated his teachings and affected, more and more humans picked it up.

More and more humans were becoming crazy scientists and this furthered the job of beast traffickers, capture beasts and sell them to scientists.

As a Summoner, of course, Legolas loathed the traffickers.

Adding this reason to the ridiculous amount of money that was attached to this mission and the potential of getting close to the Landmark Construction Family, Legolas got all his reasons to put his all into this mission.

He accelerated his bathing speed and in just a minute, he was done.

He rushed back to the room and started getting prepared.

He took one last look at his assassin unit status stats.

With a slight clicking sound and a push, Blade pushed the door open and entered as Christensen followed behind him. As soon as they entered though, they both stopped in shock as they saw their master already geared in the room.

At this moment, Legolas was in a tight-fitting black vest. Strapped to his waist was a sword, and tied to his back was a gigantic bow.

After months of development, this was the new Legolas.

Blade paused. "Uhh…"

"You took another mission without my permission again".

"Uhh, it's actually a custom mission…"

"I know, the 2 of you, get prepared, we're leaving soon".

Blade was caught off-guard. "Are you not mad?"

"Why should I be? Get in and get ready let's move out!"

Blade kept quiet and calmly nodded in understanding.

Christensen was surprised. "Won't we follow our normal modus operandi, are we not having a session to properly research on the Forest Dweller?"

Legolas looked at his student and smiled. "I'm done already".

"Ah…!"

Another 5 minutes later, the 3 warriors left the special hotel that belonged to a secret base of the Crimson Blades Assassins.

Deep in the Misty Green Forest…

The day was already dark and it was mid-night as a group of warriors moved through the dangerous Misty Green Forest.

Moving alongside them were Mutated Camels that pulled gigantic chariots behind them. These special chariots were specially made to become cages, and these were the cages through which the captured beasts were transported.

All types of beasts were in the cage, including some Grade E beasts. This was only possible because this entourage of traffickers was a powerful one.

Their leader who led the entourage from the front, the Forest Dweller was a powerful Grade D Pugilist. He had a dark green hair color, and due to his penchant for wearing only dark green clothes, he effortlessly blended into the rain forest.

He was not the only Grade D Superhuman of this trafficking group though. His assistant, his girlfriend, the poisonous sleeper was a Grade D Elementalist.

Though not as strong as her husband, she had special abilities.

She was a Water Elementalist but one who deviated towards a forbidden path. She focused on turning the water element into poison through which she could poison opponents, and also inflict other negative effects on them.

Through her unique water manipulation, their trafficking group was able to incapacitate a lot of beasts without needing to fight grueling battles with them.

This was also how they were able to kidnap the 4 dwarf kittens.

Apart from her poison, she also had other special abilities that enabled her to create mist. Her mist could easily spread across a kilometer, and anything that was exposed to the range of the mist was exposed to her.

After months of beast trafficking, their abilities were no longer secret.

At this moment, the night was silent like usual as they traveled through it. The Green Mist Forest was dangerous but having mastered its patterns, they knew when and where to pass through to avoid meeting the dangerous beasts.

The danger of the forest also played in their favor since it deterred a lot of mercenaries, assassins, and bounty hunters from targeting them.

Not today though, today, they abducted some special 4 dwarf kittens.

"Meow…!"

"Miaow!"

From inside their cages, the 4 dwarf kittens meowed as they voiced their panic. The stress and trauma of their experiences during the past day already made them forget a lot of their teaching, they were only scared at this moment.

As they moved, the poisonous sleeper voiced her concern. "The Monster Triad have been sighted in our shelter not long ago".

"Do you think it's really safe for us to be engaging in business right now?"

The Forest Dweller snorted. "We've faced assassins with even more notoriety than them, yet we survived. This is our domain, even if they're arrogant enough to come after us here, we'll simply beat them or even kill them".

"I hope so". She said, but her tone clearly betrayed that she was still not at ease. For over an hour, they moved through the forest without trouble.

When they were just a few kilometers away from their destination…

Snap!

"What was that?" The Forest Dweller became alert.

"Who is that?" He turned to look at his girlfriend.

"No one". She said with a frown. "My mist detects no intruder".

The Forest Dweller glared at the forest as he secretly heaved a sigh of relief.

He barely heaved a sigh of relief when it came out.

Whoosh!

The arrow came with such speed and venom that the Forest Dweller had to call upon all his Pugilist instincts honed from training for decades to react fast enough to save his girlfriend, he grabbed her and pulled her down from the Camel.

The Forest Dweller saved his woman just in time before the arrow hit.

Christensen clicked his tongue. "Damn, they dodged".

Legolas calmly gave orders. "Blade, take care of the Forest Dweller".

"Christensen, you take care of the Poisonous Sleeper".

"I'll free the beasts, remember, we're setting all the beasts free".

"Yes, Master".

They exploded with speed, and the mission officially started.
