Chapter 204 The Frost-Afro Gang

Inside the main camp tent of the Frost-Afro gang…

"So, when did you guys bring your trade to the Elemental plane?"

The 2 pinnacle Grade E warriors fidgeted awkwardly as they looked at the familiar kid that now sat before them.

"Can't really call crime a trade can we?" Afro Pugilist chuckled awkwardly.

Frost Crane finally took over and replied. "We don't actually base here, we go wherever there is business".

"When you say business, you mean criminal activities?" Legolas raised his eyebrows, causing Frost Crane to chuckle.

The atmosphere gradually loosened up as they chuckled.

"Not really, apart from attacking and robbing merchants which of course is the job of criminals, we also do legitimate business like taking bounty missions".

"Our gang pride ourselves on 3 notorious criminals that we captured and killed, their bounty prize was enough for us to celebrate for months".

"Nice". Legolas smiled. "Criminals hunting criminals".

"I never knew you were the Sexy Chocolate wanted by the Clown Society". Frost Crane said as he remembered something that he said months ago.

After the Nightmare Beast island, he once told Afro Pugilist that another legend of their planet was rising. Never did he expect that in just a few months, what he said was already coming to pass.

It felt like a crazy dream to him.

"But…" Frost Crane paused as he finally pointed out his fear. "My Frost Crane already discovered your pursuers outside our perimeter, won't they…?"

"No". Legolas replied confidently.

"I know them, they're the most effective assassin unit of the Clown Society". Legolas turned to look outside. "Their code of conduct is efficiency, they never waste time unnecessarily, they study their target ahead of time".

"Once they meet you, they kill you".

"So why…?"

"They're not pushing it because they know what I'm capable of". As Legolas said this, he reflected back to the moment during the war when he finally released Akela and his battalion of 600 Wolves.

That moment must have surely intimidated King Nagakin.

He already guessed that the Frost Giant King most probably returned to the Clown Society to seek refuge, which meant his pursuers already knew about his exploits. Knowing them, he was confident that they would not attack now.

Even in his current weak state, he could still access the beast plane. He didn't escape to the beast plane yet because he had other plans.

Back in his previous world, he clashed with this assassin group more than once. Their leader, Buffalo was the main reason why he didn't fight them despite his weakened state, that fellow was strong.

Legolas turned back to face Frost Crane. "They hope that staying outside the perimeter would intimidate you and put unrest in your camp, which will likely cause infighting that would result in chaos".

"They thrive in chaos but that won't happen, would it?"

"It won't". Frost Crane smiled.

With that, everything became easier, Legolas asked about what happened after Nightmare Beast island.

Frost Crane and Afro Pugilist finally smiled for the first time.

"After you saved us, once the Mountain Toads ferried us to safety, we made a decision that changed our lives forever".

"Instead of going solo again, risking another chance of being caught by the officials, we decided to become allies and form a brand-new criminal gang".

"That was when the Frost-Afro gang came to life".

"We already have more than 250 superhumans in our gang, we came with only these ones to complete a special mission here in the Elemental plane".

"Wow, deciding to ally together must have taken a lot of courage".

They both smiled. "It was motivated by our time spent alongside you, you taught us a valuable lesson. You taught us that even with our differences, when against a common enemy, it pays to cooperate and face them together".

Legolas shuddered as soon as he received this virtual interface notification.

He didn't actually need the notification reminder, he already knew who was staring at him since. After removing the effects of the Ultimate Man Potion formula, it seems Blade still could not come to terms with the real him.

This Pugilist kept on staring at him like he wanted to dissect him to pieces with his eyes, the intensity of the stare at times sent chills down his spine.

He turned. "Umm…, Blade, are you alright?"

"Sure".

"…Huh?"

"I mean yes, sure, I'm ok".

"…" Legolas simply nodded and turned his head.

As soon as Legolas turned his head, Blade turned to look at Christensen who smirked and tilted his head in an 'I told you' manner.

After all the idle talk for minutes, Legolas finally deviated to real business. "Apart from the temporary shelter, I need your help with another thing".

Frost Crane and Afro Pugilist pricked their ears up as they listened.

"Do you know what is called a Yeti Monster?"

"…" Afro Pugilist stared like he just heard the weirdest sh*t ever.

It was Frost Crane whose eyes creased slightly. "I read of them before, and recently, just a week ago, I saw some of them appear".

"Not sure about my discovery, I ordered my gang to escape".

Frost Crane stared at Legolas. "What do you need with them?"

"Not me". He stared at Christensen. "My student's beast needs them".

"Student?!"

Frost Crane and Afro Pugilist stared at Christensen, then they both coughed and averted their gaze. "Ahem…, I can show you where I last saw them".

"Good, that is what I need".

In the end, Legolas and his students ended up staying with them for a full day. To avoid complicating them with their matters, Legolas already planned the exact manner in which he would escape.

They planned to escape early in the morning when it was still dark.

He turned to look at them one last time. "Thanks man, I'll never forget this favor from the both of you".

They laughed. "No worries, you helped us first remember?"

Legolas smiled then he mounted Predator. "Buddy, go at full speed".

Having received orders from him, Akela already sent one of his fastest Wind Wolves. Blade mounted the Wind Wolf while Christensen like usual mounted Leo, that morning, all 3 beasts sprinted out of this criminal camp.

Frigga was already sent to the beast plane to recover.

As soon as they moved out, the 6 assassins of the Clown Society discovered them. Without hesitation, they went in pursuit.

This was Legolas's way of not implicating Frost Crane and his subordinates. If they left without drawing the assassins along, Legolas was 100% sure that they would not live to see the next day.

The sounds of their padding steps reverberated in the forest as they disappeared into the still dark world of that early morning.

Hours later, Legolas and his students arrived at another part of the ice territory. A part of this territory that was already being colonized by a Monster race.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Under the Yeti Elder's leadership, the gigantic Yetis hammered the snow and ice with their fists, terraforming the surrounding to better resemble their habitat.

Since arriving more than a week ago, this was what the Yeti Monsters set out to do. Compared to the other participants of the war, the Yeti Elder was the only one who didn't make as much sacrifices that affected his immediate strength.

Legolas, Frigga, and even King Nagakin were in a weakened state after the war though the Frost Giant King succeeded in masking it from the Clown Society.

The only one who didn't suffer as much was the Yeti Elder.

All 3 beasts sprinted closer to this territory just beside the new Yeti territory.

Their arrival attracted the attention of the Yeti Monsters, they looked and they were stunned. Once the Yeti Elder looked, Legolas gave his order.

"Do it!"

Christensen no longer hesitated.

"Summoner Ability: Beast Plane Summoning".

Bzzz!

Frigga appeared from the beast plane.
