Chapter 199 Lucky's Inheritance Adventure [1]

To show their goodwill towards their allies, King Nagakin and his army of Frost Giants were allowed to enter the lair of the Clown Society deep in the Hellfire Mountains. This was also a show of force and power.

By letting them all in, they proved that they were not afraid of them.

Though he didn't show it, King Nagakin obviously felt vulnerable. After his traumatizing encounter with the Grade D Summoner, he held humans in much more esteem now and this act intimidated him even more.

Led by Din, he stood before one of the Black Masters of the Clown Society in no time inside the core parts of the secret hideout.

King Nagakin frowned. "Where is Abaddon?"

"My name is Einstein, and I will be speaking with you today". This Black Master smiled. "Clown and Abaddon have more urgent matters to attend to".

Though he was not familiar with this human, King Nagakin had nothing to complain about since he could already tell that Black Master Einstein was a level above Abaddon when it came to raw power and super energy.

He guessed that this also meant higher standing in the organization.

King Nagakin took a deep breath. "Why didn't you respond to my warning?"

"We did".

"How?"

"We sent assassins".

King Nagakin narrowed his eyes. "Those 6?"

"Do you think they are insufficient?" Black Master Einstein raised his eyebrows at this Frost Giant King's reaction.

"DEFINITELY!" This Frost Giant basically roared.

Black Master Einstein calmly looked at him. "Tell me what happened".

King Nagakin hesitated for a brief moment, then he thought about his fate and that of his race. They literally lost everything already, their home, their standing, the Snow Fenrir, he literally had nothing left.

King Nagakin felt that he had nothing else to lose, his next best course of action was holding tight to the Clown Society in hopes of rising again.

King Nagakin looked at this Black Master. "It was all the human, the one that your subordinates call the Sexy Chocolate".

"He played me, he controlled the game and reaped all the benefits".

"At times, it felt like he was capable of reading the future".

"I was beaten at my own game".

Black Master Einstein raised his eyebrows even further, coming from a Grade C powerhouse, this gave it a lot more gravitas.

"It all started with my ambition to get a Snow Fenrir…"

A few minutes later, Black Master Einstein got the full gist of the story. Having witnessed the scene of the ice territory integrating back into the Elemental plane, he pieced all the loose ends together and formed a full story.

He looked at the Frost Giant King. "In the end, he succeeded".

"What?"

"I went to the Elemental plane; the ice territory is back…"

Though King Nagakin acknowledged that Legolas played him and won, the mere fact that the Snow Fenrir was now someone else's beast felt too ridiculous to his senses. "How did they manage to do it?"

Even Black Master Einstein could not answer this question. Though he already held this Summoner at a high esteem due to their first meeting, he was forced to reevaluate his opinion of the Sexy Chocolate now.

This brought the inevitable question. 'Is he of this world?'

Black Master Einstein didn't know why he asked it in his mind, he just did.

In the end, after a few more talks about the repercussions of what happened in the ice territory, King Nagakin made his first demands.

"As allies, we should help each other".

"For my race to recover and help in your plans, we need to recover".

"To recover, we will need your help to get a sufficiently cold enough territory". The Frost Giants already pushed their limits to come to a place this hot, without a territory to recover, their future was bleak.

Black Master Einstein nodded. "We'll help, but…, we have conditions".

After the fusion of the ice territory back to the Elemental plane, Lucky felt her connection to the inheritance become stronger than ever before.

'Did the inheritance lead me to bring father here?' Lucky could not help but think of this since everything felt too good to be a coincidence.

After the fusion and the reunion of all 4 territories of the Elemental plane, it was then that Lucky felt that everything was right. This led her to believe that the inheritance made her bring her father here to help with the fusion.

Following her instincts and Redmane's advise, Lucky was able to go deep enough into the cold depths of the ice territory till she found it.

Lucky and her 7 Foxes discovered the first location, a tomb built in the cold.

Shockingly, this tomb was built in the previous territory of the Yetis. At the entrance to the tomb was an engraving, the engraving of a massive white Fox.

Entering inside the tomb, Lucky discovered a white key.

"There are 4 keys to access the Ancestor Inheritance…" Redmane's eyes gleamed as he looked at the white key that glowed, resonating with the surrounding snow.

Without hesitation, Lucky picked the key and went to 3 other different locations in the ice territory that her instincts led her to.

There, she found 3 other tombs each holding a key. When she finally gathered the white key, green key, red, and black key, a reaction occurred.

Redmane took charge for the first time.

As soon as the energetic reaction filled with super energy occurred, Redmane acted as his powerful space powers acted on all 4 keys. With his powers, he was able to merge the keys together as a white bridge opened the next moment.

Lucky directed a suspicious glance at the Red Fox.

As a newborn, she didn't know a lot of things and hence her arrogant personality previously. Though she had only spent a few months in this world, during this time, she was able to experience a lot of things with her father.

One trait about her was that she learned fast. Over the few months of her life, she already matured and learned a lot of things which was the main reason for her glaring personality change recently.

The more she knew, the more she grew suspicious about Redmane. The Red Fox's appearance and knowledge were simply abnormal compared to normal standards, though she didn't focus on it, she still put it at the back of her mind.

Redmane's behavior since she unlocked the inheritance opportunity confirmed her suspicion, and his actions at this moment further confirmed it.

Lucky looked at the Red Fox not out of wariness but simply curiosity. No matter Redmane's identity, she was sure that the Red Fox had no animosity towards her, they were true friends already.

"Who are you? What is your identity?" She genuinely asked.

"I will tell you after you claim the inheritance". Redmane replied seriously.

"You need to lead the way into the white bridge before it disappears, we have only a few seconds before it does".

Lucky looked at the Red Fox then at the other foxes that stood behind her, ready to give their life for her and do anything for her.

The next moment, she took the first step into the white bridge.

Redmane followed her and all the other Foxes also followed.

Bzzz!

The space shifted one last time and the white bridge disappeared.
