Chapter 178 Departure

Legolas returned to the headquarters of the Hunter Union feeling satisfied.

After 3 years and a few months since his reincarnation into this fantasy world, he was now getting really close to fulfilling his ultimate dream. Despite all the relationships and distractions, he never forgot his ultimate dream.

His ultimate dream was still to satisfy his curiosity about the powers behind reincarnation, and the journey so far had been memorable to him.

After naming his beasts and giving them a hierarchy, he finally became the complete Grade D Summoner. If he was bluffing before when he fought Max and Maggie, now he was sure, he was the greatest Grade D Summoner alive.

With his incredible battle experience spanning 2 lives, and his current strength, no Grade D Summoner could go against him and survive.

Lastly, he had an advantage that other Summoners didn't have, he had Lucky and Predator. The Moon Fox and the Nightmare Beast were his greatest trump cards, they were the main reason for his rapid rise.

After his stint here in the Hunter Union, he already had and learned all 8 Basic Summoner Class knowledges and 4 of the 6 Intermediate Summoner Knowledges, he was already more than prepped to advance.

Legolas was strong, but he knew that this was not the peak of strength.

He still wanted to become a Grade C Summoner.

With his future knowledge, he knew that the key to becoming a Grade C Summoner was learning his first Advanced Summoner knowledge, this was the advancement mission that was the default for all Summoners.

Before getting there though, he needed to level up to the peak of the Grade D realm. Originally, he put all his hopes on Predator's infinite potential but despite the Nightmare Beast's potential, it could not happen in a single fortnight.

Predator still needed to grind and hunt like all other beasts to grow.

This was why Legolas already planned his next couple of steps.

Since he no longer had a strong need for Summoner knowledges, he would spend his time building his player army. He already discovered that they were the fastest way for him to get experience points if he played his cards right.

He would travel the planet alongside his students, selling his future knowledge to harm the Clown Society and get benefits while also luring players.

This was his future plan but before anything, he needed to meet his students.

Legolas sent Lucky, Akela, and Bran to the beast plane, leaving only Predator alongside him as he rode the Nightmare Beast to where his faction camped.

On getting there, he saw the pro players from rival game clubs.

After some time, players from both sides seemed to have calmed down a bit as they no longer bickered among themselves, Legolas nodded.

He ignored the players and went for his student.

Like he expected, he learned that Blade was in the library of the Hunter Union learning Pugilist knowledge.

"What of Christensen?"

"He's not back yet". Desert Gust answered before the others.

Desert Gust barely finished speaking before a triumphant cry reverberated through the headquarters of the Hunter Union the next moment, spooking countless warriors as these superhumans drew their weapons.

"I did it!"

"I f*cking did it!"

"I really f*cking did it!"

"Awoo!!!"

Christensen rode on top Leo as he expressed his joy without restraints.

The Frost Wolf didn't know the full details of what happened, but his master's joy told him that something good happened. Leo played along as his howls of joy and happiness reverberated through this massive gathering of hunters.

It was only because most hunters recognized him that the Summoner and his beast were allowed through or most hunters already drew their weapons.

Christensen rode Leo speedily all the way to where his master was.

Legolas had question marks all over his face.

"I did it Master!"

"I really did it!"

"What did you do?" Legolas felt a strong urge to smack his student on the face as his Frost Wolf finally halted directly before him.

Christensen jumped down.

"It's like you said, but I added my own spice of hard work".

"Guess what? I'm now a f*cking Beast Combatant!"

Legolas's face turned weird as he looked at his student, then the next moment he turned livid. "And that's the reason why you spooked everyone with your crazy screaming?"

"You definitely need some disciplinary actions".

"Ouch…, I didn't do anything…"

In the end, Christensen could only succumb as imaginary tears streaked down his eyes. Legolas only stopped because he was also happy for his student's achievement, the next moment, he dragged his cheeks.

The 2 students looked at their master as they waited for him to speak.

Legolas turned to look at Christensen first. "Have you made your choice?"

"Huh?" Christensen was confused. "Choice on what?"

"Your 3rd Contracted beast, you're now eligible to get one".

"Oh yes!" Christensen gently smacked his head. "I've been thinking a lot about it lately…, but I really couldn't settle on a single beast".

"Following your advice, I want to get a beast with Ice Affinity".

"If I go deep enough inside the North, I believe I'll find a beast that I like".

"Good". Legolas nodded. "The both of you should get ready, we've overstayed our welcome here, we'll be leaving today".

Christensen was about to speak but Legolas interrupted him. "Blade and I have fulfilled a lot of our objectives since coming here, it's time to help the last of us to fulfill his objectives also".

"We'll be accompanying Christensen to the North to get his 3rd contracted beast, and we'll also escort Lucky to access an inheritance opportunity that she received through her bloodline".

Legolas adjusted himself on his chair. "Aside from assisting Chris and Lucky, the main reason why I called the both of you here is our future plans".

"By now, the both of you should have known a lot about me".

"I received an invitation from them a few days ago". Legolas threw a letter with a red eagle seal on the table, his students picked and opened it.

It was a simple invitation letter with the sender's name beneath it.

Geralt Jones was the founding Assassin of the Crimson Blades, him personally sending the letter was another reason why Legolas decided to join.

Geralt was a Grade C Elementalist with a rare Shadow Affinity.

"Do both of you have any objections to my plans? I'll listen".

Blade and Christensen exchanged looks, then they shook their heads.

Legolas smiled. "That does it then, go get set, we'll leave in an hour".

An hour later, General Toothpick stood at the gate leading outside the headquarters of the Hunter Union as he reluctantly bid farewell to Legolas and his entourage. The players also followed them.

In no time, they disappeared into the thick world of snow.
