Chapter 150 Raining Sword's Plan

The journey to the Northern Continent was a long one.

Alone and with Kiddo, Legolas could cut the time to less than half a day. With Akela, he could cut the time to a little more than a day but he could not enjoy any of these because he had companions in this journey.

Since apart from him and Christensen, none of the other members in his faction had beasts to ride on, the journey was slow but eventful.

At most, they would arrive in the Northern Continent in 3 days.

Legolas did not entirely oppose this idea as it gave him time to fully understand the new members that made it to his faction.

Having built a reputation with Horny Assassin as an NPC who gave ridiculous missions already, Legolas was free to go unrestrained again.

The player with the fastest hand got to accept the mission first. Since morning, the Sword God had been enjoying this as he got majority of the missions.

It was already evening since they started their journey and Legolas decided that they should rest in an inn that they met along the way, this was why he gave them a mission to clean up Leo and Predator who did most of the work.

Though Predator was fearsome looking, Raining Sword already got used to and eased towards the beast.

From the inn, Raining Sword got sponge and soap. Diligently, he went to work as he washed the 2 beasts thoroughly, leaving them sparkling in the end.

This simple act from him was able to let him win the favor of the 2 beasts. It felt nice being clean and both beasts loved it as they licked his face.

Satisfied after receiving his experience points, Raining Sword patted the 2 beasts fondly as he sat down alongside them before accessing his virtual interface.

After a day with Legolas, he already got a little stockpile of experience points and without hesitation, he spent them all in the faction shop.

He was amazed. "This game is really realistic".

Without hesitation, he left to the nearby forest with his sword as he called Ghost Sentry along. With equal strength now, he could now spar consistently with Ghost Sentry and show him more techniques with the sword.

Ghost Sentry already became a Grade F Pugilist long ago during the beta testing. As they trained, 20 minutes later, Raining Sword received a message.

Without hesitation, they returned to the inn.

On getting there, he met the 5 players. On seeing him, these 5 players turned jittery, they were literally looking at the god of the Blue Autumn team, it was only natural that they were so hyped and excited.

Raining Sword had a poker look on his face as he addressed them.

During the journey, he already thought of new ways to benefit from their relationship with the special NPC. "You 5 will be helping the club".

"I want all 5 of you to become members of Legolas's faction. After that, use your experience points to buy the knowledge that I request for".

"You will not learn them yourself, you'll transfer them to the other pro players of the team. As you well know, we need to give ourselves a head start in preparations for the tournament that will come after this version's end".

"Yes!" They literally pledged and swore in the name of their ancestors.

Raining Sword did not know if Legolas would accept the new members but this was part of his experiment, he wanted to see if Legolas would accept more members apart from them into his faction.

If this was true, then he could monopolize this, not only giving the Blue Autumn team an advantage but the whole Blue Mist Guild also.

A few minutes later, he confirmed it.

Legolas knew exactly what Raining Sword was doing and he subtly approved it. The more players in his faction, the more experience points he got.

With the caliber of enemies that he now had, he simply could not rely on Predator's genius to get stronger again, he needed all hands-on deck now.

He needed to level up faster and become a Grade C Summoner.

Also, he wanted to set a benchmark for other players. Since the start of version 1, the players in Planet Darvis already joined different factions.

Most joined the strongest and most famous factions which were the 3 academies and the Hunter Union. He wanted to prove through the Blue Autumn Team and their guild that his faction was the best.

This was why he gave them so many benefits.

The only condition that he set was that the new members would not follow him on his travels. More members could join but the Blue Autumn Team was the only players skilled enough to help him in battles going ahead.

Through the other players, all the other members of the Blue Autumn Team were able to use the basic class knowledges to unlock main classes.

Dominator was also a VR game but as a new game, they needed to familiarize themselves with all the main classes and their abilities in preparation for the tournament that was coming ahead.

On the 3rd day, they finally arrived at the Northern Continent.

Legolas led them straight to the headquarters of the Hunter Union.
